• The removable inner pot features a non-stick layer surface. To avoid scratching the non-stick surface, only use wooden
or plastic utensils.
• Make certain that the unit is properly closed before operating.
• Do not clog the joint between the lid and the outer body or cooker bed with a cloth.
• Do not ll the unit over 2/3 full. When cooking foods that expand during cooking such as rice or dried vegetables, do
not ll the unit over 1/2 full. Over-lling may cause a risk of clogging the oat valve and developing excess pressure.
The maximum cooking amount should not exceed the Max (maximum) mark as indicated on the removable inner pot.
• Be aware that certain foods, such as apple sauce, cranberries, pearl barley, oatmeal or other cereals, split peas,
noodles, macaroni, rhubarb, or spaghetti can foam, froth, splatter, and clog the pressure release device (steam vent).

indicates that the cooker is still pressurized – do not force it open. Any pressure in the cooker can be hazardous.
• Only open and lift the lid by using the lid handle. Always lift the lid away from your face as escaping steam may
cause injury or scalding. Keep hands, arms and face clear from the escaping steam when opening the lid, adjusting
the pressure limiting safety valve or moving dishes.
• Keep clear from the pressure limiting safety valve (vent) and vent holes during operation to avoid injury or scalding.
• When cooking foods with a high liquid content, use protective oven gloves to manually vent steam from the appliance.

towards the triangular ALIGN notch on the outer
body.
To open the lid:
Turn the lid in a clockwise direction towards the
“unlock” triangle, then lift with the lid handle.
Note: The lid (3) has a safety lock pin. The cooker
will not pressurize until the lid is closed and locked
in place.
Safety lock pin:
The safety lock pin will depress when the lid is
properly closed.
LED display:
The LED display on the control panel (8) shows
the time (top panel) and the amount of pressure
that is being used (bottom panel) in psi (Pounds
per Square Inch).
Pressure regulator:
The pressure regulator (2) is used to pressurize or
release pressure in the cooker. To pressurize and
cook using pressure, turn the pressure regulator
to the PRESSURE position.
Quick Release Venting Method: Use this venting
method to manually release pressure from the
pressure cooker. This is the faster release
method. Turn the pressure regulator to the STEAM
position.
Natural Release Venting Method: This method is
used when the pressure cooker releases all
internal pressure naturally without manual
intervention from the user. It is the slower release
method.
NOTE: The lid must only be opened after the Float
Valve has moved down/dropped.
WARNING: Take care when releasing pressure with the pressure regulator, as hot steam will escape and
can cause severe burns. Use a long-handled wooden spoon or an oven mitt to protect your hand.
5
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove any packing materials and labels from your electric pressure cooker. Be sure to open the lid
and remove the cooking pot to check for parts that might be stored inside.
Be sure that all of the appliance parts are included and accounted for before you dispose of the packing
materials. You may however store the box and packing materials away to use at a later time.
Before you use your SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS for the rst time, wipe the cooker clean with a damp cloth.
Clean the lid and the removable inner pot. The removable inner pot can be cleaned with warm soapy
water. Do not put the removable pot in the dishwasher. Rinse with clean water, towel dry, and place it
back into the cooker.
The lid seal ring may already be installed on the steam plate, if not, make sure that it is installed
properly on the steam plate.
INSTALLING THE LID SEAL RING ON TO THE STEAM PLATE
Place the lid seal ring around the edge of the steam plate and turn it with your hand to secure it evenly.
NOTE: You can remove and clean the steam plate and lid seal ring after cooking. Follow the steps
below to remove the steam plate and lid seal ring:
Clean the steam plate and lid seal ring with warm soapy water. Make sure that they are completely dry
and correctly assembled before inserting back into the lid. Align the steam plate with the middle support
pin on the underside of the lid and press the steam plate down. After installation, check whether the
gap between the lid seal ring and the perimeter of the lid is even. Make sure it can be turned freely
prior to use. Be careful not to install it upside down (the steam plate does not protrude outward).
Remove the lid from the cooker and turn it upside
down. Gently remove the steam plate from the
underside of the lid as shown above.
Remove the lid seal ring from the steam plate as
shown above.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS
There are 12 settings that you can use on the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS. All settings have cooking times and
preset pressure levels. You can choose one of the preset times, or, if you want something in between the
preset times or for much longer, you are able to change times by pressing the “Pressure Time +” or
“Pressure Time –“ button repeatedly to achieve the desired time. You can also adjust the pressure level
and temperature by pressing the ADJUST button.
Keep Warm/Cancel Button:
To keep food warm or cancel your settings and turn off the cooker, press the WARM/CANCEL button
once your cooker has turned on. When in warming mode the WARM button indicator light will
illuminate.
Adjust Button:
To adjust either the pressure or temperature depending on the cooking setting, press the ADJUST button.
Delay Time Button:
To set a delayed start time of up to 24 hours, use the DELAY TIME button.
Preset Buttons:
You are able to choose one of the preset times by pressing the button of the cooking option of your
choice repeatedly.
For example:
• For rice preset cooking times, press the “RICE” button and the preset cooking time of 8 minutes will
show up on the cooking time display.
• If you want to adjust to 10 minutes, you can press the “RICE” button again until you get to 10 minutes
(it will cycle through the preset times).
• Or if you want to adjust to 9 minutes, you can press on “RICE” and one of the preset cooking times
will show up on the cooking time display. Then press on the “Pressure Time +” or “Pressure Time –“
button repeatedly until you get to 9 minutes.
• After you have set a time, you are able to adjust the pressure level between “Low” and “High” by
pressing the ADJUST button and the setting of either “Low” or “High” will light up.
NOTE:
The “Sauté” cooking option does not use pressure and does not require the lid. However, when using
this option you must never leave the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS unattended to prevent the food from burning.
• See page 12 for a detailed table of all the preset cooking functions.
7
USING YOUR SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS
When all the parts are assembled properly, you are ready to start cooking with your SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS.
Position your cooker on a dry at surface and away from any potential heat source. Attach the drip cup on
to the side of the outer body by pushing it inwards.
1. To remove the lid (3), grasp the lid handle (1), turn anticlockwise and lift
2. Take the removable pot (6) from the pressure cooker and add food and liquids.
NOTE: Do not ll more than 60% of the capacity of the cooking pot. For food that expands, such as
dried vegetables and beans, you must not exceed 50% of the capacity of the pot. When cooking
with pressure, you must always use at least ½ cup of water
3. Put the removable pot back into the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS and place the lid on, lining it up with the
drip cup (5). To lock the lid in place turn it clockwise, which will line the lid up with the handle.
NOTE: When opening and closing the lid, there is a safety lock pin that disengages (protrudes out)
when you open the lid. When the lid is closed and locked, the safety lock pin will engage
(depresses in)
4. The pressure regulator (2) has two dots labelled “Steam” and “Pressure”. You can use these two
dots as guidelines for positioning the pressure regulator
5. Plug the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS into the wall outlet. The two LED displays will show --.-- You can use
one of the preset cooking options or set the cooking time yourself. If you decide to set a time
yourself, you can set the time by pressing on the “Pressure Time +” button repeatedly (or hold down
for faster time change) until you nd the time you want. After you have set a time, quickly press the
“Adjust” button to set it to either a high or low pressure.
6. Once you have adjusted the pressure, the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS will automatically start after 5
seconds
7. The SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS will beep when there is enough heat and when pressure starts to build.
Please note that the timer does not start until there is enough heat and the pressure level has been
reached. The pressure light will blink and a pressure reading will be shown on the bottom display.
Throughout the cooking cycle, the pressure will uctuate causing the “Heating” light to go on and
off. This is normal and is a safety feature
8. When the cooker is done, it will beep again. DO NOT REMOVE THE LID. There will still be pressure
inside the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS. You can either wait for the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS to slowly release
the pressure on its own (it will show on the LED display and beep when all the pressure has been
released) or you can release the pressure immediately by turning the pressure regulator on the lid.
NOTE: When turning the pressure regulator to release pressure, keep your hands and face as far
from the pressure regulator as possible to prevent injury or scalding from the steam that will be
released.
NOTE: A small amount of water may appear between the removable inner pot and the inner wall of
the cooker – this is normal.
8
DELAY TIMER
This setting allows you to begin cooking food up to 24 hours later in half hour increments. You can use
this setting with any of the cooking options provided.
NOTE: Perishable foods, such as meats, poultry, sh, cheese, and dairy products cannot be left at room
temperature for more than two hours, and no longer than one hour when the temperature of the room is
above 32° Celcius. Be sure to set the delay timer to no more than 1 - 2 hours for these types of foods.
1. Fill the removable pot (6) with the desired food and liquid and place it in the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS
2. Choose a cooking option and set the time
3. Once you have set the cooking time, immediately press the “Delay Timer” button until you reach the
desired time. This time will show on the top display. It will adjust in half-hour increments
NOTE: Be sure to immediately press the “Delay Timer” button right after you have set a cooking time
because the cooker will automatically start after 5 seconds.
SLOW COOKING
Slow cooking involves long, low-temperature cooking. It brings out avour in foods and helps tenderize
less-expensive cuts of meat. Slow cooking is ideally suited to delicious one pot meals, soups, stews and
casseroles.
1. Fill the removable pot (6) with food and liquid then put it back into the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS and
replace the lid (3). Set the pressure regulator (2) to “Steam”
2. Press the “Slow Cook” button and 30 minutes will appear on the timer display. To add more time,
quickly press the “Pressure Time +” button, it will add more time in half hour increments. You can
slow cook up to 20 hours
3. Once you have set a time, quickly press the “Adjust” button to set the temperature to either of the 3
levels : “Low”, “Mid”, and “High”. The cooker will automatically start after 5 seconds. The
“Heating” light will be on
4. It will take at least 5 minutes for the cooker to reach the set temperature. Please note that the timer
will not start counting down until the cooker has reached the set temperature
SAUTÉ
The sauté option cooks small pieces of food rapidly and is often used to brown foods. It does not use
pressure and does not require use of the lid.
1. Fill the removable pot with the desired food and place it in the SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS
2. Press “Sauté” and leave the lid off. The cooking time for Sauté is 30 minutes. You can press the
“Warm/Cancel” button to stop the cooking process
NOTE: Do not leave the pressure cooker unattended while using the Sauté function.
STERILIZING
To sterilize items such as baby bottles and paciers:
1. Add approximately 500ml of water to the removable pot
2. Place the steam rack into the removable pot and place the items to be sterilized onto the steam rack
3. Seal the lid and set to “High” for 5 minutes
Making delicious home-made yoghurt in your SUPER CHEF 10 PLUS is incredibly easy.
Pasteurize Milk
1. Fill the removable pot (6) or appropriate jars (not included) with milk
2. If you are not using jars, replace the lid (3) on the pressure cooker and press “Yoghurt”. Quickly
press adjust until you see the word “Boil” on one of the LED screens. If you are using jars, ll the
removable pot with a small amount of water and place the steam rack (9) in the removable pot (6),
then place the jars on the steam rack. Press the “STEAM” button and set it to the preset time of one
(1) minute. Set the pressure regulator to “Pressure”
3. Once the pressure cooker is nished boiling or steaming the milk, remove the lid and use a
thermometer to check the temperature of the milk. Milk must reach a minimum of 72°C for
pasteurization to occur.
Add starter culture
4. Take the removable pot or jars out of the cooker and wait for the milk to cool down to 43° Celcius.
After the milk has cooled down, add your yoghurt or yoghurt starter to the milk and stir until there
are no chunks
Note: If using plain yoghurt as a starter, ensure that it contains an active culture. Mix in 2 tbsp of
yoghurt per 3.8 litres of milk, or follow a trusted recipe.
Ferment Yoghurt
5. Place the removable pot back into the cooker or jars back on the steam rack and replace the lid. Set
the pressure regulator to “PRESSURE” and press the “Yoghurt” button. Quickly press “Adjust” to
change the time to either 8 hours or 24 hours. The cooker will automatically start after 5 seconds.
The longer you incubate your yoghurt, the thicker and tangier it will be.
6. Use the quick release venting method and carefully open the lid once all the pressure has been
released.
7. Mix the yoghurt and store in a fridge.
Pressure Settings for Yoghurt Fermenting and Milk Pasteurizing:
*Low: Suggested for lower temperature fermentation (e.g., Jiu Jiang, a sweet fermented glutinous
rice dessert). Ensure to adjust fermentation time based on your recipe.
*Mid: Suggested for fermenting milk after culture has been added. A longer fermentation will result
in tangier yoghurt.
*High: Suggested for pasteurizing milk. For extra thick yoghurt, pasteurize milk twice.

TIPS FOR COOKING RICE
The following scale pertains to the amount of cups of rice:
3L: 6 cups of rice
4L: 8 cups of rice
5L: 10 cups of rice
6L: 2 cups of rice
The ratio of rice to water is usually 1:1 (one cup of rice to once cup of water)
Rice will taste better if it is kept warm for no longer than 10 minutes with the lid remaining closed. The
taste of rice will be affected if cooking utensils are left in the pot.
