Thank you for choosing Bittel.
The UNOMedia5 (or UM5) is a Multi-Media device which is specifically designed to meet
the needs of hotel guests. UM5 features N C Bluetooth, Alarm Clock, M Radio, and
High-Powered Mobile Device Charger.

HOW TO USE
Install Handset Cord, Line Cord and Po er Adaptor
Handset Cord: Plug one end of the coil cord into the jack at the base of the handset and
the other end into the jack located on the left side of the telephone with handset icon.
Line Cord: Plug one end of the line cord in the jack located in the back of the telephone
labeled TO TEL and the other end into the wall.
Power Adaptor: Plug the power adaptor into the back of the telephone labeled DC and
then plug into the wall.
Programming Guest Service Keys
When Idle the HOLD key will be considered the STORE KEY. With the telephone plugged
in and handset on hook:
• Press HOLD
• Press the Sequence to be dialed (EX; “0” for operator)
• Press HOLD
• Press the autodial where number is to be stored.
• Repeat steps for remainder Guest Service Keys.

Hold Key
The HOLD Key controls the local hold function. Each time it is pressed it toggles between
ON and O mode. The LED indicator located on HOLD Key button will light when on
HOLD.
Mute Key
When mute key is enabled the handset and speakerphone audio is turned off. You will
be able to hear the party on the other end but they will not be able to hear you.
Redial Key
Press Redial Key to dial the last number dialed. After 5 minutes the number will erase
automatically.
Acoustics
Apple devices/ mobile phones/ MP3 and other devices can be played using Bluetooth or
LINE IN.
Bluetooth
Press Bluetooth key and an ID Number will be displayed on the LCD screen. Then, open
the Bluetooth function on the mobile device to search for that ID and pair. No password
is necessary. It will show "ON" on the LCD screen if the connection is established.
Auxiliary Line In:
Press LINE IN key to select the LINE IN mode, and then connect the Apple
devices/mobile phones/ MP3 and other devices to 3.5mm audio line in for playing.
NFC
Please activate mobile phone’s N C feature and swipe it towards the N C area located
near the key pad and it will automatically connect with the Bluetooth; swipe the mobile
phone toward with N C area again, the Bluetooth feature will automatically disconnect.
Note: The acoustic will exit Bluetooth mode or LINE IN mode if there has been no music
playing for 5 minutes.

FM Radio
Please press RADIO key to select the M-RADIO mode, and then press TUNING+/- to
select the frequency.
Press TUNING+/- and it will search frequency forward or backwards, then it will stop
automatically after finding a clear channel.
Acoustic volume
The acoustic volume can be adjusted by pressing button.
Volume Cap
In AUDIO O mode, press and hold , LCD display ON or O (ON or O the hotel
mode), ON: volume 0—20, O : volume 0-30.
Change Clock/Calendar Setting:
• Press and hold Snooze, LCD will display Month, Day;
• Press and hold Snooze, LCD will display Year;
• Press and hold Snooze, LCD will display DST Zone and easy to view the setting
parameters.
Intelligent Device Mode
If telephone rings or is off-hook while in M-RADIO or LINE IN mode, the telephone will
MUTE the audio playing, and when the phone call is finished or the ringing has stopped,
it will resume to playing mode.
Setting the Time
In AUDIO O mode (not LINE IN or M-RADIO working mode) to set the time:
• Press ALARM SET for 6s, the hour digit will flash, press to adjust hour.
• Press ALARM SET again while the hour digit is flashing, press ALARM SET again until
the minute digit flashes, press to adjust minute.
• Press ALARM SET to finish the setting.
• When LCD displays time, press TIME SET for 2 seconds to change between 12- Hour
ormat and 24- Hour ormat.

Setting the Alarm
• Press ALARM ON/O key.
• Press ALARM SET button. Hour digit will flash; keep pressing ALARM SET key until
bottom right hand corner hour digit flashes. Press to adjust hour.
• Press the ALARM SET key again, then press to adjust minute.
• Press the ALARM SET key to finish setting.
Turn Alarm On
Press ALARM ON/O key to start and close alarm. The alarm time and indicator will be
displayed on the LCD if the alarm is activated. The alarm and indicator will NOT be
displayed if the alarm is off.
Alarm snooze feature
• When alarm is audible, press any key (except for ALARM button) or pick up the
handset, it will activate the Snooze. After 10 minutes it will ring again.
• Alarm ringing during playing mode, it will exit playing mode automatically.
Adjusting LCD brightness
In off-alarm mode, press SNOOZE to adjust the LCD brightness, there are three levels to
select from: Mid, Hi and Off.
Charging Ports
• There are our High Powered USB charging ports
• Multi-media Charging Cable: Apple Dock & Lighting Connector for connecting Apple
devices, such as iPod/iPad/Mini Pad/iPhone5;
Receiving mobile phone calls through Bluetooth
After connecting with the Bluetooth, the guest can choose to answer the phone call via
Bluetooth. Please press to adjust the volume. Please do not cover the right of
the LCD as it will affect the communication quality.
Changing clock battery
In case of a power outage, the back-up battery will keep the LCD in medium brightness.
The LCD will continue to show the time and guarantees the Alarm will work.
To change the battery, please remove the battery cover, remove the old battery and
install new one. Please make sure to install the correct battery.

3) The product has never been used in a harsh or corrosive environment.
4) No damage in transit
