4. Use the control wheel to set the minutes and press the clock
button to accept and save your changes.
Note: Make sure the time switch on the back of the unit is set to SET to save your
changes. Otherwise once you dock your device the unit will automatically set the
time from the device.
settIng tHe aLaRM
1. Press and hold the alarm button on the top of the unit until the
time on the display begins to blink.
2. Use the control wheel on the top of the unit to adjust the hour,
AM or PM (indicated by an “A” or “P” next to the time for 12 hour
mode) and press the alarm button to advance to the minutes.
3. Use the control wheel to set the minutes and press the alarm
button to accept and save your changes. The display will then
show the volume level (L 5-20).
4. Use the control wheel to set the volume to the desired wake
level and press the alarm button to accept and save your
changes. The display will then show the time.
5. Press the alarm button to activate the alarm and select the
alarm source – the display will show the alarm time. Press
the alarm button while in this mode to switch between iPod,
buzzer and off. The selected source will remain on the display
to indicate the alarm is set.
Note: If iPod is selected as the source and there is no iPod present, the alarm will
automatically default to buzzer.
Snoozing the alarm
While the alarm is sounding, slightly rotate the control wheel to
snooze the alarm. The snooze is automatically set for 10 minutes.
Turning off the alarm
While the alarm is sounding, press the alarm button once to turn
the alarm off and reset for the following day.
When the alarm is not sounding, press the alarm button until you
do not see a source on the display. This means the alarm is off and
will not sound the following day.
UnPackIng anD InItIaL setUP
1. Remove Luna Voyager from the box and remove all foam and
protective plastic. Properly dispose of all material.
2. Place Luna Voyager on a level surface following the
precautions listed in the safety warnings.
3. Remove AC adapter from the packaging.
4. Read and review manual and safety warnings.
5. Open battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit
and insert two “AAA” batteries for alarm and time backup and
close cover.
6. Connect the AC adapter into the jack on the back of the unit
labeled power and connect the other end of the adapter into a
power outlet.
7. Select the appropriate dock adapter for your device and
carefully insert into the dock well. Each dock adapter is labeled
with compatible device on the bottom left corner of each
adapter. Please see the section “Inserting and removing the
dock adapters” later in the manual for more details.
settIng tHe tIMe WItH tHe DeVIce
Set the time switch on the back of the unit to AUTO and then dock
your iPhone or iPod. The unit will automatically set the time from
your device. Make sure to set the clock mode switch on the back of
the unit to 12 or 24 hour depending on your preference.
Note: If you are experiencing difficulties getting the unit to set the time from your
device remove the device, set the switch to AUTO and then dock your device into
the unit again. If you are still experiencing difficulties, restart your iPhone or iPod
and repeat the process.
settIng tHe tIMe ManUaLLY
1. Set the clock mode switch on the back of the unit to 12 or 24 to
set the clock into 12 hour or 24 hour mode depending on your
preference.
2. Press and hold the clock button on the top of the unit until the
time on the display begins to blink.
3. Use the control wheel on the top of the unit to adjust the hour,
AM or PM (indicated by an “A” or “P” next to the time for 12
hour mode) and then press the clock button to advance to the
minutes.

4. Use the control wheel to set the minutes and press the clock
button to accept and save your changes.

time from the device.

To control display brightness

Inserting and removing dock adapters
1. Select the appropriate dock adapter for your device by turning
over the adapter and looking at the bottom left corner for the
name of the device for compatibility.
2. Gently press the adapter into place until you hear a click,
which indicates it has been locked into place.
3. To remove the dock adapter, use a flat item like a letter opener
or a flat head screwdriver and insert it into the slot behind the
dock connector and gently pull upward.
Listening to your iPod/iPhone
1. Use the insert designed for your iPhone or iPod and gently
press it into the universal dock well.
2. Carefully place your device into the dock well.
3. Press the play/pause button on the top of the unit (this is
also the clock button) or press play on the device and use the
control wheel to adjust the volume.

aLaRM BUtton
When alarm is not sounding
Press once to get into alarm activation mode. Once in this mode,
the display will show the alarm time. Pressing the alarm button in
this mode will toggle between selecting the source – iPod or buzzer
and turning the alarm off.
When alarm is sounding
Press once to turn the alarm off and reset for the following day.
contRoL WHeeL
When alarm is sounding
Rotate the wheel when alarm is sounding to snooze the alarm. The
snooze is set for 10 minutes.
When iPod is playing
Use the control wheel to adjust the volume.
To set the time
Press and hold the clock button and use the control wheel to
adjust the time.
To control display brightness
Press and hold the clock button and rotate the control wheel to
control the display brightness - rotating the control wheel counter
clockwise will dim the display and rotating the control wheel
clockwise will brighten the display.
Note: The display will turn all the way off - to turn back on, press and hold the clock
button while rotating the control wheel clockwise.

Auto Time Set Switch
This switch is located on the back of the unit and marked as
SET|AUTO. If you set it to AUTO and then dock your iPhone or iPod,
the unit will automatically set the time from the device.
12/24 Hour Mode Switch
This switch is located on the back of the unit and marked OFF | 12|
24. Set the switch to 12 for 12 hour clock mode or 24 for 24 hour
clock mode depending on your preference. If this switch is set to
OFF, the unit will be turned off for travel mode. It will hold time
and alarm settings if there are 2 “AAA” batteries in the unit.
Note: You will need to select 12 or 14 hour mode to turn on the device.

To control display brightness
Press and hold the clock button and rotate the control wheel to
control the display brightness – rotating the control wheel counter
clockwise will dim the display and rotating the control wheel
clockwise will brighten the display.

no PoWeR
Check AC adapter connection
Connect the AC adapter into the jack in the back of Luna labeled
“Power” and then plug the AC adapter into the wall outlet.
Check wall outlet function
Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm the outlet is
working.
Check 12/24 hour Switch
Make sure the switch on the back of the unit is set to 12 or 24 hour
to power the device. If the switch is set to off, the unit is turned off
for travel mode.
Check display dimmer
If the unit is plugged in and you know you are getting power, press
and hold the clock button and rotate the control wheel clockwise
to brighten the display.
no soUnD FRoM sPeakeRs
Check volume level
Turn the control knob or use the remote to adjust the volume.
Check iPod connection
Remove your iPod from the dock well and re-dock to make sure it
is properly connected. Make sure you are using the proper dock
adapter for your device.
Check the iPod/iPhone
Try restarting your device and then re-docking to ensure a proper
connection.
