When used with a rechargeable power supply, a full-charge on the power source is recommended for optimum performance.
When using a vehicle’s 12 volt DC accessory outlet as a power source, be aware that some vehicles require you to turn on the ignition

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Keep the HOT/OFF/COLD switch in OFF position for five minutes before switching between hot and cold.
Using the Travel Cooler and Warmer as a Cooler
1.Makesuretheunit’sHOT/OFF/COLDswitchisintheOFFposition.Startvehicleorturnignitionto
“accessory”position.
2.InserttheDCplugintothevehicle’s12voltDCaccessoryoutlet.
3.MovetheHOT/OFF/COLDswitchonthecoolertotheCOLDposition.
4.TheCOLDLEDindicatorwilllighttoshowtheunitiscooling.
5.Placeitemsintothecoolerandclosethelid.Donotoverstuffthecoolerorkeepthelidfromclosing.
6.Keepcoolerlidclosedduringoperationandrecloseitquicklywhenaddingitemstoitorremovingitems

performance,plugintheunitapproximately2hoursbeforeloadingtogiveittimetowarmuporcooldown.
Alwaystrytofillyourunitwithpre-chilledorpre-heatedfoodorbeverages,astheunitwillalwaysperformat
itsbestwhenyoudothis.
Generally,yourunitwillcooldowntoasmuchas40°F(or22.2°C)belowtheambienttemperature.Toensure
optimumperformance,alwayskeeptheunitoutofdirectsunlightwhenusingasaCooler.Topromoteyour
unit’scoolingcapacityonwarmdays,tryreusablefrozengelpackets.Theseareparticularlyhelpfulinkeeping
yourunitcoldwhileunplugged.
Whenusingtheunitasawarmer,itwillwarmtoapproximately120°F(48.8°C).Oncolddays,theunitwillneed
moretimetoreachthemaximumwarmtemperature.

themaximumtemperatureisreachedandbackonwhenthetemperaturedrops.
6. Keepwarmerlidclosedduringoperation,andrecloseitquicklywhenaddingorremovingitems.
7. Afteruse,turntheswitchtotheOFFposition.Removeanyfooditems.
8. Disconnectthepowercordfromthevehicle’saccessoryoutlet.

Fuse Replacement

ToinspectorreplacetheDCPowerCordFuse:
1. Unscrewtheend-capofthepowercordplug.
2. Removefuse,inspectitforanopenelement,andreplacewithanew5-ampfuse,ifneeded.
3. Re-attachtheend-captotheplug.

Mantenga el interruptor de FRÍO/CALIENTE/APAGADO en la posición de APAGADO (OFF) durante cinco
minutos antes de cambiar entre CALIENTE y FRÍO.

6.Mantengalatapadelaneveracerradamientraslaunidadestéenfuncionamientoycierrelarápidocuando

7.DespuésdeusarladevuelvaelinterruptoralaposicióndeAPAGADO(OFF)yvacíelanevera.
