1 Important instructions for safety and environment

1.1 General safety

loadingdoor.Doorcanbeopened
afewminutesafterthewashing
cycleends.Ifthemachinehasnot
cooledenoughattheendofthe
programme,loadingdoorcannot
beopened.Donotforcetheloading
doortoopen.Itmustbelefttocool
itself.Theloadingdoorandthelock
mechanism may get damaged.
• Intheinstallationlocationofthis
product, there must not be a
lockable,slidingorhingeddoorthat
willrestrictthefullopeningofthe
loading door.
• Followtheinstructionsonthetextile
tagsandonthedetergentpackage.
• Useonlydetergents,softenersand
supplementssuitableforwashing
machines.
• Donotinstallorleavethisproduct
inplaceswhereitmightbeexposed
to outdoor conditions.
• Controlsmustnotbetamperedwith.
• Ifanon-self-resettingthermalcut-out
isrequiredinordertocomplywith
thestandardthentheinstructionsfor
appliancesincorporatinganon-self-
resettingthermalcutoutthatisreset
bydisconnectionofthesupplymains
shallcontainthesubstanceofthe

1.1.3 Warnings for drying
DANGER!
• Laundrythatispreviouslywashed,
cleaned, soiled or stained with
petrol / gasoline, dry cleaning
solvents or other flammable or
explosivesubstancesmustnotbe
driedinthemachineastheygive
outflammableorexplosivesteam.
It may cause fire risk.
DANGER!
• Laundry stained with Liquid
cooking oil, acetone, alcohol,
petrol,kerosene,spotremovers,
turpentine, waxes and wax
removersmustbewashedinhot
water with plenty of detergent
beforedrying.Itmaycausefirerisk.
• Foamrubber(latexfoam),shower
caps,waterprooftextiles,clothes
orpillowswithrubbersupportor
rubber foam pads must not be
driedwithdryingfunction.Itmay
cause fire risk.
• Ifyouusewashingball,detergent
scale,laundryclothingcagesand
balls in your machine, they can
melt during drying. Do not use
theseproductsifdryingoptionwill
beselected.Itmaycausefirerisk.
• Whenyouuseindustrialchemicals
for cleaning, do not use drying
function. It may cause fire risk.

withbarehandsafterdrying.There
is the risk of getting burnt.
• In order to maintain laundry in a
temperaturethatwillpreventthem
fromgettingdamaged,acoolingstep
isperformedasafinalstep.Youmay
beexposedtohotsteamifyouopen
thedoorbeforecoolingiscomplete.
There is the risk of scalding.

• If the drying programmes are
interrupted(asaresultofprogramme
cancellationorpowerfailure),laundry
inthemachinecanbehot.Becareful.

Authorised Service Agent.
• Youcanjustwashlaundry,justdry
laundryorwashanddrylaundryin
yourwasher-dryer.Machinemust
notbeusedonlytodrywetloads
foralongtime.Whenmachineis
used only for drying, it must be
operatedemptywithoutloading
laundryinashortwashprogramme
after every 15 operation.
• Checkallclothesbeforeloading
themintothemachineandensure
thattheydonothaveobjectssuch
as lighters, coins, metal pieces,
needlesinthepocketsorinside.
• Underwearwithmetalsupportsmust
notbedriedinthemachine.Metal
supportsmightcomeoffduringdrying
andcausedamageinthemachine.

usage or trans portation.
• The service life of your product is
10years.Duringthisperiod,original
spare parts will be available to
operate the product properly.
• Thisapplianceisintendedtobeused
inhouseholdandsimilarapplications
such as:

thedetergentcontainerorsealingthe
detergent package.

1.4 Compliance with WEEE
Directive and disposing
of the waste product
This product does not contain harmful and
forbidden materials described in the "Regulation on
the Control of the Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment". It complies with the WEEE Directive.
This product has been
manufactured with high quality
parts and materials which can
be reused and are suitable for
recycling. Therefore, do not
dispose the product with normal
domestic waste at the end of its
service life. Take it to a collection
point for the recycling of electrical
and electronic equipment. Please
consult your local authorities to
learn the nearest collection point.
Help protect the environment and natural
resources by recycling used products.
For children’s safety, cut the power cable
and break the locking mechanism of the
loading door so that it will be non-functional
before disposing of the product.
