OWNER’S MANUAL
Please read through this manual to familiarize yourself with your new
speakers. Should your Blues Speakers ever require service, you will
need to have the original dated receipt.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this Blues speakers system. Whether you are replacing or upgrading
your vehicles factory speakers your new Blues speakers, when used as described, will deliver
great sound and provide years of dependable service in your car, truck, RV or mini-van. We have
taken numerous measures in quality control to ensure that your product arrives in top condition,
and will perform to your satisfaction. Before installing please take a few moments to read through
this owner’s manual as it contains technical data plus installation tips to help you get the most out
of your speakers.

PREPARATION
Here is a short list of guidelines to review prior to installation
• Ensure the speakers will fit in the factory location, double check the mounting depth of the
speakers. Make sure the speaker will not interfere with window mechanics, door handles
and window handles.
• The back of the speaker magnet should not touch any part of the vehicle
• If using the provided Blues mesh grills, be sure mounting location is sufficient distance from
door and/or window handles
• Check all safety regulations by reviewing your vehicle’s owner’s manual
REQUIRED TOOLS
The following is a list of tools need for installation
• Screw drivers
• Battery post wrench
• Hand held drill and bits
• Wire cutter
• Wire stripper
• Crimping tool
• Electrical tape
• Safety glasses (protective eyewear)

Step 1. Remove existing speaker
Step 2. Position new speaker and align
with existing mounting holes
Step 3. Attach positive (+) and negative (-)
speaker terminals. Be sure to observe proper
polarity when connecting the wires.
Step 4. If not using the factory grill, attach the Blues
mesh grill as shown above
Step 5. Mount speaker (save and use the original factory
hardware when possible)

INSTALLATION EXAMPLES
Your Blues coaxial speakers are designed as direct replacements for stock factory speakers.
Some basic installation examples are shown below.
For custom installations seek professional help from a car audio/electronics dealer.
CAUTION
Before installing these speakers, check the vehicle’s manual for location of important
vehicle equipment such as airbags, CO2systems, fuel systems, and electrical systems
in the vehicle. Accidental deployment of air bags may result in serious injury.
