Romans Moped Assembly Instructions
I f y ou h a v e n o m e c h a n i c a l e x p e r i e n c e , p l e a s e
h a v e t h e u n i t p r o f e s s i o n a l l y a s s e m b l e d .
Tools needed: #2 Phillips Screwdriver, 14mm Socket, 12mm Socket,
10mm Socket, 14mm Wrench, Crescent Wrench, Hammer, Allen
Wrench, Heavy duty Scissors or Utility Knife.
Cut straps off with heavy duty scissors or utility
knife.
Remove top from box
Tilt the box to the rear end of the moped and
remove
Cut ties holding the bag with scissors or utility
knife
Using a 14 mm socket, remove the bolts holding
together the shipping frame

Cut the zip tie holding the bag together
using the heavy duty scissors or utility
knife
Remove the front wheel and trunk from the
unit.
Turn the key to the right to unlock the seat
Open the battery box and remove the
contents.
The box should contain 1 Sulfuric Acid
container, 1 Six Hole Funnel, 1 battery hole
plug strip.
Remove the tape covering the battery holes.

Remove Six Hole Funnel from plastic
wrap and place into holes on top of the
battery
Attach Sulfuric Acid container to the
tubes in the Six Hole Funnel
Let Sulfuric Acid drain completely into
battery
Remove Six Hole Funnel and cap
battery holes with the battery hole plug
strip.

Insert battery nut and bolt into battery
terminal
Remove the front screw under the
headlight assembly using a Phillips
screwdriver
Gently remove the front cowling
assembly
Slide the handlebar column over the
steering shaft. Line up the hole for the
screw with the hole in the column
Insert the bolt and tighten using a 14 mm
socket and 14 mm wrench

Remove the bolt holding the front forks
to the frame. Do not discard the bolt and
nut.
Remove the spacer from between the
front brake pads
Insert the bearing sleeve into the wheel
on the side with the brake rotor.
Place the spacer between the brake rotor
assembly hole and the fork. Place the
bearing assembly (hanging) on the side
of the wheel without the brake rotor.
Slide the front wheel into the front forks
Align the brake rotor with the space in
the brake caliper between the brake
pads

Insert the bolt removed earlier from the
forks into the front wheel assembly from
the side without the brake rotor and
tighten.
Cut the wires holding the unit to the
frame and put the unit on the main kick
stand.
Remove the bolts from the rear body just
below the seat. There are 4 bolts total.
Using the small hex head bolts, attach
the rear rack to the back rest.
Attach the rack and backrest assembly
to the rear of the unit using the 4 bolts.

Using the silver screws attach the front
cowling to the body
Screw the wing mirrors into the
handlebars. Tighten the screw cap
securely using a crescent wrench
Locate the battery compartment in the
center of the floor and open using
Phillips head screwdriver

Connect the MAIN RED WIRE and
RED WIRE with FUSE to the RED
TERMINAL on the battery.
Connect the MAIN GREEN WIRE to
the BLACK TERMINAL on the battery
Replace the cover and screw down
using Phillips head screwdriver.
Place the floor guard over the floor
and attach to the floor.
Place 4 of the gold screws with the
cap style washers into the bottom of
the trunk as shown

NOTE** that 2 of the screws are
closest to the part of the trunk farthest
from the key.
Place the black plastic adapter plate
onto the bottom of the trunk with the
square side closest to the key end of
the trunk
Attach one of the brackets to the
lower side and slip a washer, locking
washer and nut onto the ends of
each of the screws
Repeat the process with the other 2
screws.
