CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Remove the mains plug from the mains electrical supply before cleaning.
2. Do not immerse the kettle in water or any other liquid.
3. Avoid the use of solvents, polish, abrasives or aerosol cleaners as they may
damage the surface of the kettle.
4. Clean the exterior by wiping with a slightly dampened soft cloth.
5. The inside of the kettle may be cleaned using a mild detergent. It must be
thoroughly rinsed before use.
6. The removable mesh filter prevents scale from falling into your cup when
pouring. This filter neither treats nor removes the hardness of the water.
Never remove the filter when the kettle is full of hot water.
7. It is important to clean the filter regularly.
8. Remove the filter and place it under a running tap while wet. Dry and gently
brush the filter before re-inserting it into the spout.
