注意
装置の取り付けは、訓練を受けた技術者が行
ってください。
電気関係の保守・点検は、お買い求めの販売
店または電気の専門技術者に依頼してくださ
い。
次の場合には電源スイッチを切り、電源プラ
グを抜いてください。
誤ってスタートスイッチを押すと、ミシンが
作動してけがの原因となります。
・ 取り付け・点検・調整
電源スイッチを入れたまま調整を行う必要が
ある場合、安全には十分に注意してください。
部品は当社指定の交換部品を使用してください。
安全保護装置を外した場合、必ずもとの位置に
取り付け、正しく機能することを確認してくだ
さい。
ミシンを改造して起きた損害等に対しては、保
証の対象外となります。
CAUTION
Maintenance and inspection of the sewing
machine should only be carried out by a
qualified technician.
Ask your Brother dealer or a qualified
electrician to carry out any maintenance and
inspection of the electrical system.
Turn off the power switch and disconnect the
power cord from the wall outlet at the
following times, otherwise the machine may
operate if the starts switch is pressed by
mistake, which could result in injury.
･When carrying out inspection, adjustment
and maintenance
If the power switch needs to be left on when
carrying out some adjustment, be extremely
careful to observe all safety precautions.
Use only the proper replacement parts as
specified by Brother.
If any safety devices have been removed, be
absolutely sure to re-install them to their original
positions and check that they operate correctly
before using the machine.
Any problems in machine operation which result
from unauthorized modifications to the machine
will not be covered by the warranty.

縫いエリアが、X=360mm、Y=85mm で円筒形の帽子への刺しゅうを可能にした装置です。
従来の刺しゅうにより付加価値を高めるために利用できる帽子枠装置です。
The available sewing area measures X=360 mm, Y=85 mm, enabling embroidery on round caps.
Cap frame attachment creates higher added value with embroidery on standard products.
セミワイド帽子枠 / Semiwide cap frame
縫いエリアが、X=180mm、Y=70mm で円筒形の帽子への刺しゅうを可能にした装置です。
従来の刺しゅうにより付加価値を高めるために利用できる帽子枠装置です。

セット枠ベースセット[1]を作業するテーブルにつまみボルト[2]で確実に取り付けます。
Mount the set frame base set [1] firmly to the work table with the wing nut [2] .

[セット枠ベースセットの調整] / [Adjusting the set frame base set]
帽子の深さによって、枠のサイズを変える必要があります。
The frame size must be adjusted according to the depth of the cap.

1. 帽子の深さによってセット枠の帽子ならい移動板[1]を調整します。
4本の締ねじ[2]をゆるめ、帽子ならい移動板[1]を帽子の深さに合わせます。
1. Adjust the position of the movable plate [1] of the set frame in accordance with the depth of the
cap.
Loosen the four screws [2] , and then adjust the position of the movable plate [1] in accordance
with the depth of the cap.
2. 調整後 4本の締ねじ[2]で固定します。
2. After adjusting, securely tighten the four screws [2] .

3. 4 本の締ねじ[3]をゆるめると、帽子の深さに合わせるためにボウシクランプイタを前後に動か
し調整することができます。
3. If the four screws [3] are loosened, the cap clamp plate can be extended or retracted to match the
thickness of the material.

4. 帽子枠[4]を、セット枠ベースセット[1]にセットします。
4. Set the cap frame [4] in the set frame base set [1] .
注意)
背面のツマミを押し下げ、爪が完全に下がった状態で帽子枠を奥まで入れてセットしてください。
（爪はバネ式で上に戻ります。）
爪が帽子枠の四角穴に確実に入っているのを確認してください。
NOTE)
Press down the knob at the rear so that the pawl is completely lowered, and then set the cap into
the set frame base set as far as it will go. (The pawl will move back up again by the force of the
spring.)
Check that the pawl is securely fitted into the square hole in the cap frame.
5. 帽子枠[4]のパチン錠[5]を外して帽子をセットします。
5. Release the snap lock [5] on the cap frame [4] to set the cap.
注意)
この時、帽子内のスベリ部（ビンカワ）を降ろしてください。

Pull down the lining inside the cap.

6. フタ枠 W[6]の指押え部をつまみ、フタ枠 W[6]を閉じます。
この時、ガイドピンがフタ枠 W[6]の溝及び切欠き部に収まっている事を確認してください。
6. Hold the holder of cover frame W[6] in your fingers and close cover frame W[6].
Check that the guide pins are inside the groove and the notch of cover frame W[6] at this time.
7. 指押え部を指で押し付けながらパチン錠[5]をはめます。
7. While pushing the holder with your finger, close the snap lock [5].
8. 帽子の外周を下へひっぱり、クリップ 4個で帽子に“シワ”が寄らないようにボウシクランプイ
タに固定します。
8. Pull the cap downward to secure it to the cap clamp plate with the four clips, while making sure
that there are no wrinkles in the cap.
9. セット枠ベースセット[1]より帽子枠[4]を取り外し、ミシン本体に取り付けてある帽子枠駆動（組）
[7]にセットします。
9. Remove the cap frame [4] from the set frame base set [1], and set it on the cap frame driving
assembly [7] mounted on the machine.

1. フタ枠掛け[1]を2本の締ねじ[2]でセット枠ベースセットに取り付けます。
1. Install the flap frame holder [1] to the set frame base set with the two screws [2].
2. セット枠ベースセット[3]を作業するテーブルにつまみボルト[4]で確実に取り付けます。

■帽子枠・帽子のセット方法 / Setting the cap frame and the cap
[帽子枠サイズの調整] / [Adjusting cap frame size]

1. 帽子の深さによって、枠のサイズを変える必要があります。
1. The frame size must be adjusted according to the depth of the cap.
2. 皿ねじ[5]4 本を外すとサイズが 3段階に変更できますので、帽子に合わせてサイズを決めます。
また、帽子枠も蝶ナット[6]4 本をゆるめてサイズを合わせます。
＊４本の蝶ナット[6]をゆるめてパチン錠を図のように左右方向へずらすとクランプ部を生地厚に合わせ
ることができます。
2. The frame can be adjusted to three sizes by removing the four set screws [5]. Adjust the size
according to the size of the cap. Also loosen the four wing nuts [6] to adjust the cap frame to the
cap size.
* The clamp members can be adjusted to suit the material thickness by loosening the four wing
nuts [6] and moving the snap lock sideways as shown in the illustration.
3. 帽子枠[7]を、セット枠ベースセット[3]にセットします。

4. 帽子枠[7]のパチン錠[8]を外して帽子[9]をセットします。
4. Release the snap lock [8] on the cap frame[7] to set the cap [9].
注意)
この時、帽子内のスベリ部（ビンカワ）を降ろしてください。

5. フタ枠 A[10]を閉じて、パチン錠[8]をします。

帽子の刺しゅうを入れる部分に“シワ”が寄らないように帽子を奥へいっぱい押しつけてセット
してください。

Push the cap in as far as it will go while making sure that there are no wrinkles in the part of the
cap to be embroidered.

6. セット枠ベースセット[1]より帽子枠[7]を取り外し、ミシン本機に取り付けてある帽子枠駆動（組）
にセットします。

1. ベッド[4]にドライバー Cクミ[3]を通します。
1. Pass the driver C assembly [3] through the bed [4].
2. ボウシワクサッシ N[8]の内側の小判穴を Xオクリサッシ[1]の位置決めピン[9]に合わせ、載せ
ます。
2. Put the cap frame sash N [8] so that the positioning pins [9] of the X-feed sash [1] fit into the inside
oval holes of the sash.

3. Y オクリサッシ[2]の裏側から、ドライバー Cクミ[3]の位置決めピン[5]を小判穴に差し込みま
す。
3. Put the positioning pins [5] of the driver C assembly [3] into the oval holes from the reverse side of
the Y-feed sash [2].
4. 2 本のコテイレバー[6]を矢印方向に開いて外側にずらし、コテイピン[7]をYオクリサッシ[2]
のダルマ穴に差し込みます。
4. Open the two fixed levers [6] in the direction of the arrow to shift them outside, then put the fixing
pins [7] into the gourd-shaped holes of the Y-feed sash [2].
5. コテイレバー[6]を開いたままコテイピン[7]を内側に一杯までずらし、コテイレバー[6]を下側
に倒して固定します。
5. Keep the fixed levers [6] open and shift the fixing pins [7] up to the inside limit, then turn the fixed
levers [6] down to fix them.
6. ツマミネジ[10]でボウシワクサッシ N[8]をXオクリサッシ[1]に固定します。
左右位置は、帽子枠をセットした後から帽子のセンターを合わせて位置決めします。
6. Fix the cap frame sash N [8] with the thumb screw [10] on the X-feed sash [1].
After the setting of the cap frame, adjust the sash position to align it with the cap center.

[位置合わせをせず、毎回同じ位置にドライバー Cを取り付けたい場合] /
[Setting the driver C in the fixed position without performing the positioning every time]

Xオクリサッシ[1]の位置決めピンの左右いずれか 1本を外し、中央のネジ位置に取り付けてくださ
い。
このピンにボウシワクサッシ N[8]の中央の穴を合わせることにより、毎回同じ位置にドライバー C
をセットできます。
Take out either one of the two (right and left) positioning pins of the X-feed sash [1], and then put the
pin into the center screw hole.
Aligning the center hole of the cap frame sash N [8] with this pin can fix the set position of the driver C
every time.

帽子枠駆動（組）を取り付け後、手で X送りフレームを手前に動かし、帽子枠エリア内で帽子枠駆動
（組）が滑らかに動くか、特に針板と帽子枠先端が接触していないか、浮きすぎていないか、ミシン
ベッド面と平行になっているか確認します。
After attaching the cap frame driving assembly, move the X-feed frame to front side manually, and
make sure that the cap driving assembly frame moves easily within the cap frame area, and that the
needle plate does not touch the end of cap frame, and the former should be parallel to the machine
bed bottom.

1. 指定の番号が付いた帽子枠ドライバーを指定の頭部に取り付けます。
1. Install each cap frame driver to the corresponding head according to the number attached.
2. 「確認」の結果、針板と帽子枠ドライバーのすき間の調整が必要な場合は、以降の作業を行いま
す。
2. If the clearance adjustment between the needle plate and the cap frame driver is needed after
performing "Checking", follow the procedures below:

4. 駆動リング[3]を持ち上げ、針板とのすき間が約 0.5～1.0mm になる位置で締めネジ[2]を締めま
す。
4. Hold up the driving ring [3], and fasten the screw [2] at the position where the clearance between
the ring and the needle plate is about 0.5 to 1.0 mm.
5. 駆動リング[3]を一杯まで持ち上げてもすき間が確保できないときは、その位置で締めネジ[2]を
締め、さらに帽子枠ドライバーを持ち上げます。すき間が確保できる位置で、スベリヨウシート
[5]がベッドカバー A[8]の上面に当たるようにし、ドライバササエイタ[6]を締めネジ[1]で締め
ます。
5. If the clearance is still insufficient with the driving ring held up, fasten the screw [2] at the position
and hold up the cap frame driver. At the position which the enough clearance is assured, adjust
the sliding sheet [5] to touch the upper surface of the bed cover A [8], then fasten the driver
support plate [6] with the screw [1].

注意)
このとき、Xオクリサッシを左右に動かして、ボウシワクサッシ N[7]とドライバササエイタ[6]
が干渉していないことを確認してください。
また、隣の帽子枠ドライバーと干渉しないことも確認してください。
Note)
Move the X-feed sash right and left to confirm that the cap frame sash N [7] and the driver support
plate [6] do not interfere each other.
Also confirm that they do not interfere the next cap frame driver.

6. 手順 4ですき間が確保できた場合は、スベリヨウシート[5]がベッドカバー A[8]の上面に当たる
ようにし、締めネジ[1]を締めます。
6. If enough clearance is assured in the procedure 4, adjust the sliding sheet [5] to touch the upper
surface of the bed cover A [8], then fasten the screw [1].
注意)
このとき、Xオクリサッシを左右に動かして、ボウシワクサッシ N[7]とドライバササエイタ[6]
が干渉していないことを確認してください。
また、隣の帽子枠ドライバーと干渉しないことも確認してください。
Note)
Move the X-feed sash right and left to confirm that the cap frame sash N [7] and the driver support
plate [6] do not interfere each other.
Also confirm that they do not interfere the next cap frame driver.

■ワイヤー張力調整 / Adjustment of the wire tension

1. 締めネジ[1]2 本をゆるめます。
1. Loosen the two screws [1].
2. テンション調整ネジ[3]の固定ナット[2]をゆるめ、テンション調整ネジ[3]でテンションを調整
します。
次の条件を満たすように調整してください。
・ ドライバーをツマミネジ[4]で固定した状態で、ボウシワクサッシ N[5]とワイヤー[6]の距離
が約 3mm
・ 図の位置にワイドセットワク C（0.45kg）を 1個つり下げたときに、ボウシワクサッシ N[5]
とワイヤー[6]の距離が約 7mm
2. Loosen the fixing nut [2] of the tension adjustment screw [3] to adjust the tension using the tension
adjustment screw [3].
Follow the conditions below for the adjustment:
* The clearance between the cap frame sash N [5] and the wire [6] should be about 3 mm with
the driver fixed by the thumb screw [4].
* When the wide set frame C (0.45 kg) is hung from the point illustrated, the clearance between
the cap frame sash N [5] and the wire [6] should be about 7 mm.
3. 調整が完了したら、締めネジ[1]と固定ナット[2]を確実に締めます。
3. After the adjustment is completed, fasten the screw [1] and the fixing nut [2] firmly.

■ボウシササエの位置調整 / Location adjustment of the cap support

締めネジ[2]をゆるめてボウシササエウケ[3]を動かし、ボウシササエ[1]とハリイタドダイ[5]とのす
き間が 1～2mm になるように調整してください。
調整には、付属のTガタ6カクレンチ 4[4]を使用してください。
Loosen the screw [2] to move the cap support holder [3], and adjust the clearance between the cap
support [1] and the needle plate base [5] to be 1 to 2 mm.
Use the accessory T-shape hexagonal wrench 4 [4] for this adjustment.
