Safety information
Please read the safety information carefully before using this product. Follow-
ing of the safety informations prevents users from any damage related with
the misuse of this product.
Do not try to open the product. It can cause an electric
shock!
Do not put pins or needles into the product or electric
cord of product.
In case of damage, please switch-off the product and
contact your dealer or the CAMOS customer service.
This product is only made for 12-24V DC use. Please be
careful while connecting.
Check for correct polarity.
Please install the product while it is switched off.
Prevent the product from infiltration of any liquids or en-
trapping moisture.
Only clean with dry cloth.
Do not clean with alcoholic or oily solvent.
Do not operate this unit while driving.

CN-800 Installation
Installation
Take care while mounting the CN-800 in your vehicle, whether using the wind-
shield mount or other mount, that it does not obstruct the driver’s view of the
road. Make sure that the placement of the CN-800 and cable does not inter-
fere with the operation of vehicle safety devices, such as air bags. You assume
the risks associated with damage to your vehicle or vehicle’s occupants as a
result of how you choose to mount the CN-800.
Clean the surface of the location you
wish to place the mount bracket.
Do not mount where the driver’s view
will be obstructed.
Slide the main system onto the mount
clip and adjust the angle properly.
Please, check the mount and
main system in proper position.
Insert DC plug of Cigarette lighter cable
into the fused +12V socket of main sys-
tem and connect the other end to the
+12V cigarette lighter socket.

Switching battery state
Switch ON the battery ON/OFF switch on the rear side of the unit. After start-
ing engine, your device will start up automatically or push the power button
to start the device.
Power ON/OFF
To turn ON the CN-800 push the power button on the top side. The first time
you turn on your CN-800, it may take up to 5 seconds to start. To power OFF
the device, push the power button 2 seconds.
If you stop your car engine, CN-800 will detect that there is no power con-
nection and you will get a message for keep using or turning off the device.
If you don‘t choose any option, the device will shutdown automatically after
30 seconds to protect the battery from running out.
Locating your current position
Your CN-800 must be outside to locate your current position. The first time you
start the device, it can take up to 3 minutes to find your current position. If it
takes longer than 3 minutes, make sure that you are in an open place with-
out tall buildings or trees around you.
In the future, your position will be found much faster, normally within a few
seconds.
Once CN-800 has located your current position, the driving view is shown in
full colour and shows your position on the map.
NOTE:
Some vehicles have a heat reflective shield embedded in the windshield that
may prevent the device from locating your current position. If this is a prob-
lem in your vehicle, use an external GPS antenna.

Main Screen
CN-800 has two different main screens.
The default main screen like shown below.
And another main screen where you can set an image or photo from the
photo application as wallpaper.

Time, speed and direction
This screen provides information about time, your current speed an direction.
The accuracy of the speed shown by the speedometer depends on the
satellite signal strenght. Sometimes it may not be correct.
It also may not show the same as the speedometer of your vehicle, because
there are tolerances and other things that may affect the shown speed.
Please do not rely on it.

Split screen and quick overlay
By pressing the mode button while you are in navigation mode you can open
a quick overlay menu.
It is possible to run naviga-
tion and another applica-
tion like phone, AV-In, video
or music player at the same
time.
The split screen function in the AV-In application allows to run rearview cam-
era or AV signal and navigation half and half on the screen.

The phone menu allows
you to use your device as
a handsfree device for a
mobile phone supporting
Bluetooth connection. You
can tap your device to place
and receive phone calls
instead of picking up the
mobile phone.
Pairing with a mobile phone
Tap the phone button on the main screen and the pair mode button. Blue-
tooth radio turns on.
If this is the first time you use the program, your device will switch to pair
mode and wait for the pairing action from your mobile phone (max. for 4
minutes). The connection will be established as long as you initiate the pair-
ing process.
If you are prompted to enter the pin code (or pass key) on your mobile
phone, tap the pass key specified by the CN-800 (the default is ‘0000’) and
tap OK.
You will see the phone main screen after the pairing is completed. The sta-
tus bar at the bottom shows the name of the mobile phone connected.
The next time you run the phone program, your device will automatically
search and pair with one of the last connected mobile phones.
NOTE:
Your device must be in pair mode for the mobile phone to find your de-
vice. If you need to manually set your device to pair mode, tap pair mode
on the phone main screen.
Some mobile phones can automatically connect the hands-free service.
Up to 5 sets of paired mobile phones can be stored. A 6th paired mobile
phone will replace the oldest one.
The Phone program cannot access the data such as the phone book and
call history stored in a connected mobile phone.

Placing a call
After pairing with your mobile phone, you can place a call using any of the
three buttons (call and call history) on the phone main screen.
By tapping the call button on the phone main screen, you can enter the
telephone number with the onscreen keypad. After entering the telephone
number, tap to place the call.
To delete the last digit entered, tap the backspace button.
The other two buttons allow you to switch to re-dial call and call history
( )screens.
Call history
Display the recent incoming, outgoing, or missed calls.
Tap the respective button (incoming, outgoing or missed) to view the last 20
calls of the selected type.
With an item selected, you can tap to dial the number, to
delete the item.
To clear all items in the current list, tap .

Phone book
CN-800 is supporting Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) and you can down-
load the phone book data from your phone.
You can tap to transfer phone book data from your phone after paired
your phone and CN-800.
And you can tap to
edit phone number informa-
tion with using the below key
board.
NOTE:
This function may vary depending on your phone maker and model. If your
phone does not support Phone Book Access Profile(PBAP) user may have to
download one contact at a time. Some phone models with SIM cards might
require transfer the phone book to the phone memory from the SIM card.
Read your phone manual for more information.
Operations during a call
During a call, four functions are available: If you need to input other
numbers, such as an extension
number, tap
to open the keypad and tap the
digits. The keypad will be closed
when you tap the button again
or when there has been no input
for 5 seconds.
Tap to mute your sound so that the other party cannot hear you. To
end the mute mode, tap the same button again.
Tap to end the call.
To switch the call to your mobile phone tap . To switch back to
your device, tap the same button again.

Receiving a call
When you have a call after pairing with a mobile phone, the device rings
and displays the incoming call screen.
Accept the call
Reject the call
Connecting devices
Tap connect from phone main screen to search for nearby devices.
The device list appears on the screen. Tap the target device from the list of
the devices.
Tap pairing the device you want to use as a hands-free.
When prompted to enter the passkey in your mobile phone, please, input
the passkey requested by CN-800 and tap OK.
NOTE:
To use the service of a remote device with Bluetooth capability, make sure
that the remote device is in discoverable mode.
Viewing active connections
After starting phone menu, tap connect to view the active connections. After
you tap an item, you can disconnect the selected device.

Pair Mode By tapping the pair mode button on the
phone main screen, you can manually
set your device to pair mode. Within the
duration of 4 minutes, you can initiate the
pairing process on your mobile phone to
discover your device as a hands-free
device or a headset.
Preferences
Your device incorporates Bluetooth wireless communications technology. De-
vices with Bluetooth capabilities can exchange information over a distance
of about 10 meters (30 feet) without requiring a physical connection.
Preference allows you to configure and use the Bluetooth capabilities of your
device.
Auto Connect: Choose the connecting action of Bluetooth hands-free
function.
Ringtone: Select one of 3 ring tones.
Auto Answer: Choose to answer every call automatically after a certain
time or not.
Volume: Adjust the volume level of microphone and device.

Advanced Audio Distribution
CN-800 supports advanced audio distribution function via Bluetooth. You can
hear music from the memory of your phone using the navigation and you
can control simple functions as shown in the following screenshot.

Tap AV or RV button to choose the screen you want to show. You can use
PIP (Picture in Picture) function with Navigation with button for multi
tasking.
IR input (External DVD Player - optional)
You can control an external DVD player via the IR-input by using the DVD-
control buttons.

Starting and closing Music player
Music Player features:
Playback of music files
Basic playback controls such as play, pause, stop, next and previous
Playback includes single selection playback, repeat, single repeat, normal
sequence and random sequence.
Tap the Music button on the main screen to start the program. The control
panel appears on the screen where you can easily control the player by tap-
ping the control buttons.
To exit the program, tap button.
Preparing the music files for your device
Copy the music files to a storage card or an USB device like an USB-HDD or
an USB memory stick and connect it to the CN-800.
Playing music files
If your files are in a storage card, insert the card into your device.
If they are on an USB device, connect it to CN-800.
Tap the Music button on the main screen to start the program.
The program will search for the music files. When detected, they will be
shown in the play list.
To start the playback, tap select button from the music file list . To control
the playback, use the control buttons as described later.
