Use the remote control by pointing it towards the remote sensor windows
of the set. Objects between the remote control and sensor window may
prevent proper operation.
Cautions regarding use of remote control
1.
Do not expose the remote control to shock. In addition, do not expose the
remote control to liquids, and do not place in an area with high humidity.
2.
Do not install or place the remote control under direct sunlight. The heat may
cause deformation of the unit.
3.
The remote control may not work properly if the remote sensor window of the
main unit is under direct sunlight or strong lighting. In such a case, change the
angle of the lighting or the TV set, or operate the remote control closer to the
remote sensor window.

If the remote control fails to operate the TV functions, replace the batteries in the remote control.
aOpen the battery cover
bInsert two size-AAA batteries. (Place the batteries with their terminals corresponding to the (+) and (-) indications in the
battery compartment)
cReplace the cover.
Precaution on battery use
Improper use of batteries can result in a leakage of chemicals and/or explosion. Be sure to follow the instructions below.
•Placebatterieswiththeirterminalscorrespondingtothe(+)and(-)indications.
•Differenttypesofbatterieshavedifferentcharacteristics.Donotmixbatteriesofdifferenttypes.

Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries can shorten the life of new batteries and/or cause old
batteries to leak chemicals.

Remove batteries as soon as they are non-operable. Chemicals that leak from batteries can cause a rash. If chemical
leakage is found, wipe with a cloth.

If the remote control is not used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries from the remote control.
•
The batteries (battery pack of batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight, fire or similar.

ANTENNA CONNECTION
INSTALL THE UNIT IN A ROOM WHERE DIRECT LIGHT WILL NOT FALL ON THE SCREEN. TOTAL DARKNESS OR
REFLECTIONS ON THE SCREEN MAY CAUSE EYESTRAIN. SOFT AND INDIRECT LIGHTING IS RECOMMENDED
FOR COMFORTABLE VIEWING. OPTIMAL RECEPTION OF COLOURS REQUIRES A GOOD SIGNAL AND WILL
GENERALLY MEAN THAT AN EXTRA OUTDOOR ANTENNA MUST BE USED.
THE EXACT TYPE AND POSITION OF THE ANTENNA WILL DEPEND UPON YOUR PARTICULAR AREA.
Note:

It is recommended that a 75-ohm coaxial cable be used to eliminate interference and noise which may occur due to radio
wave conditions.

Control Panel Button Function
1. POWER: TURNS THE LED TV ON AND INTO STANDBY MODE.
2. SOURCE: CHOOSES FROM DIFFERENT INPUT SIGNAL SOURCES.
3. MENU: PRESS ONCE TO DISPLAY THE OSD (ON SCREEN DISPLAY), PRESS AGAIN TO TURN THE OSD OFF.
4/5. VOL-/+: ADJUSTS THE VOLUME UP AND DOWN. SELECTS THE MAIN-MENU ITEM AND CHANGES VALUES FOR
ITEMS WHEN IN THE OSD MODE.
6/7. CH-/+: SCANS UP AND DOWN THROUGH CHANNELS. SELECTS SUB-MENU ITEM WHEN IN THE OSD MODE.
8. EJECT: EJECTS DISC (DVD).
9. PLAY/PAUSE: IN MEDIA MODE, PRESS TO START PLAYBACK OR PAUSE.
10. IR RECEIVER: RECEIVES INFRARED SIGNALS FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL.
11. INDICATOR LED: STATUS INDICATOR (POWER ON: GREEN; STANDBY ON: RED).

MAIN UNIT DESCRIPTION
TV Terminal Connections
DC 12V:
Input 12V DC power.
VGA/PC AUDIO:
Connection for a PC, or other AV equipment with VGA and line-in jacks.
Scart:
Connects to external equipment with SCART socket. The SCART interface offers RGB & AV signals with audio input/output
between the TV and external video equipment.
RF (ATV/DTV-T+C)/RF (DVB-S/S2):
Connects RF input from VHF/UHF antenna or cable to receive high/standard definition television.
Coaxial:
Connects to the audio jack on the digital/standard 5.1 audio system.
USB:
Allows access to digital content stored on a USB storage device.
HDMI IN:
Connection for all digital AV equipment with an HDMI connector.
AV:
Connects the Video output jack of DVD or VCR.
CI:
Insert the CI card into the slot.
YPbPr:
Connects to the DVD player, Digital Set-Top-Box, or other AV equipment with component (YPbPr) video.
Headphone:
Connect the headphones here.

APOWER: Turns the LED TV on and into standby mode.
BMUTE: Mutes and restores your LED TV sound.
CSOURCE: Press SOURCE to display the source list: select the video
equipment connected to the video inputs of your LED TV
and press OK button to confirm.
DP.MODE: Selects picture mode
S.MODE: Selects sound effect options
AUDIO: Audio selection button
P.SIZE: Cycles through wide screen mode settings.
E0– 9: Press a number to select a channel.
FFAV.CH: Press FAV.CH to display favorites.
GSLEEP: Set the sleep timer.
HJUMP: Switches back and forth between the current and previous
channels.
IMENU: Displays the OSD menu on the screen.
JEXIT: Exits the OSD menu.
KINFO: Press to displays a variety of information about the current
channel and the input source.
LG H F E/OK: Allows you to navigate the on-screen menus
and adjusts the system settings to your preferences. Press OK to
confirm changed option settings. OK also displays the channel list.
MV+/V–: Increases and decreases volume.
NP+/P–: Change the channels up and down.
OP P P P: Press the appropriate colour to direct access functions
in TELETEXT or EPG OSD mode.
D.SETUP: In DVD mode, press to enter/exit DVD settings menu.
ZOOM: Zoom in/zoom out the displayed frame.
REPEAT: Press REPEAT to activate. You can repeat all chosen tracks / single songs or stop repeating.
GOTO: Jump to desired location.

PDTV/RADIO: In DTV mode, press DTV/RADIO button to enter DTV
or RADIO mode.
(=p Freeze a multi-page changing on Teletext mode.
Q PVR LIST (Index): In DTV mode, displays the executed PVR LIST
and index.
Displays the main index in Teletext mode.
R TIME SHIFT: In DTV mode. Click to start the delay function, press
the play button to start playing the delayed program, and press the
Lkey to terminate the delay functions.
Reveals hidden information such as the answers to a quiz
in TELETEXT mode.
S REC: In DTV mode. Press REC button to start recording; press L
button to stop recording.
T USB: : Press to switch to USB.
Displays the top, bottom or all of page.
21 FF: In Media mode, use to reverse/move EE playback rapidly.
IFF: In Media mode, press to jump to the previous chapter or
track.
EEI: In Media Mode, press to jump to the next chapter or track.
L: In Media mode, press to stop playback chapter or track.
G:This function is not available for this model.
EII: In Media mode, press to start playback or pause the
playback.
22 DVD MENU:
This function is not valid on models without DVD
TEXT:
Turns the Teletext function on and off.
SUBTITLE:
Displays the subtitle menu on the screen in DTV mode; use to
select the subtitle options..
GUIDE:
Displays the Program Guide on the screen in DTV mode. Press
again to turn GUIDE off..
!Effective range: The remote can control the LED TV from up to 5m away, if pointed directly at the receiver.
NOTE:
DVD Menu & OPEN/CLOSE keys are available only for LED TVs with built-in DVD Players.
