AFTER PUTTING INTO OPERATION, THE TOP
PLATE GETS VERY HOT. DO NOT TOUCH THE
HOT SURFACE. TO LIFT UP THE TOP PLATE, USE
ONLY THE LEVELLING HANDLE! WHEN TURNED
OFF THE DEVICE, THE TOP PLATE WILL STAY
WARM FOR SOME TIME. BEFORE ANY FUTHER
OPERATION, LET THE DEVICE COOL DOWN.
IF YOUR SKIN GETS IN TOUCH WITH A HOT
SURFACE, YOU RISK A BURN!
• Carefully read all instructions before
operating and savefor future reference.
• Removeany promotional stickers or labels
before using theContactGrill for therst time.
• Donot placetheContactGrill neartheedgeof
a bench or tableduring operation. Ensure the
surfaceis level, cleanand free of water, etc.
• Donot placetheContactGrill on or neara hot gas
or electric burner, or where it could touch a heated
oven. Use theContactGrill well away from walls.
• Provideadequate spaceaboveand on all sides
for air circulation around theContactGrill.
• Donot placetheContactGrill on any surface
thatmay beaected by heat. Theuse of a heat
resistant matis recommended on these surfaces.
• Alwaysensure theContactGrill is properly
assembled before use.
• Takecare when using theAdjustableGrilling
HeightControl.
• Allow thegrill to cool downbefore releasing the
removableplates. Donot release theremovable
plates whilethegrill is being operated.
• Alwaysswitch othegrill atthepower
outlet before releasing theremovableplates.
• Donot leavetheContactgrill unattended
when in use.
• Donot placeanything on top of theContact
Grill when thelid is closed, when in use and
when stored.
• Alwaysswitch theContactGrill oatthepower
outlet, then unplug and allow to cool, if appliance
is not in use, before cleaning, before attempting
to movetheappliance, disassembling,
assembling and when storing theappliance.
• Keep theexterior housing and thenon-stick
cooking plates clean. Follow thecleaning
instructions provided in this book.
• Theapplianceis not intended to be
operated by means of anexternal timer or
separate remote-control system.

• Donot use harsh abrasives, caustic cleaners or
oven cleaners when cleaning this appliance.
