Guardian Roof Installation Guide
The following guide has been created to assist in the
fabrication and installation of the Celuplast Guardian
Roof. Please note that each roof is individual and will be
fabricated to suit various shapes and sizes.
Each roof supplied will be accompanied by a roof layout
plan and this guide. Your fabricator will be available at
all reasonable times to provide installation technical
support.
Roof Layout Plan
Please refer to the roof layout plan prior to commencing
installation. It is very important that the roof fits the
windows layouts and that all the windows are
reinforced. All components are numbered to match the
roof layout plan for ease of installation.
Sealing
At important junctions on the roof it is important to use
a suitable sealant to secure a water tight joint.

10mm Ratchet
Snips and Staple gun

All window frames must be reinforced in
order to take the weight of the Guardian
Roof.
It is the sole responsibility of the installer
to establish that the window frames are
reinforced.

Components
Box Gutter

1. Fix window frame to ring beam
using self tapping screws at a
maximum if 600mm centr

using ring beam cleats

using cleats and self tapping screws
4 Connect rafters to ring beam
using cleats and bolts provided
6.Gable rafters to be secured to
the house wall using suitable
fixings depending on wall
structure.

7.Fix timber sheets to rafters using
self tapping screws at 200mm centres
Fakro Window to be fitted to the V
Notch
Tiling always to start at the bottom left of the roof. Always start with a full tile with a
half tile above.
Felt roof using suitable breather
membrane. The overhang is 200mm.
Fakro Tile Flashing installed with
Guardian Roof Tile

Fix timber with expanding foam tape to roof with wood screws. Then fix
ridge cappings followed by cappings. All cappings to be screwed from the
side and hidden using the Guardian Tile repair kit.
Gutter brackets twist lock into the ring beam and Gutter locks on. to brackets.
Box Gutter adapter fitted into the box gutter and sealed using suitable wet sealant.
Gutter joint then fitted to adapter for continuation around ring beam.
