getting started
Your Model 27 comes fully charged from the factory. However, if
your cooler stereo was sitting on the shelf too long (banish the
thought!) the happy little electrons inside the battery could be
getting sad and lazy. So before you bring your Model 27 to your
first event, be sure to completely charge the battery.

charging the battery
In our humble opinion, the BatteryTender®charging system is a
world renowned super-smart device that knows how to charge and
maintain batteries better than any other system.
Simply connect the integrated charging connector to the AC power
cord, plug the charging unit into the wall and voilà; watch for the
L.E.D. indicator lights to tell you when your battery is fully juiced
and ready to go!
Your Model 27 also comes with an additional cord equipped with
alligator clips for charging a variety of small 12 Volt batteries. See
your BatteryTender® instruction manuals for more information.
CAUTION: NEVER MODIFY OR
CHANGE THE CHARGING SYSTEM.
FIRE, SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
COULD OCCUR
CHILL ‘N’ AUDIO STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT YOU DO NOT
COMPLETELY DISCHARGE YOUR BATTERY! Doing this can
actually cause the battery voltage to drop below optimum levels
resulting in chemical reactions within the battery that could
dramatically reduce the lifespan of the battery. This could also
cause issues during charging. As a side note, see our CAUTION
notice in the MAKING IT WORK section.

Now that your Model 27 is fully charged, you’re ready show off to
all your friends!
Turn on the master power switch
Turn on the radio
Choose from the radio tuner, .MP3/USB/SD Card audio input(s),
Weatherband (27wx) or Bluetooth (27bt)
Adjust audio settings
Enjoy!
Just like this manual, take a moment to read through the factory Pyle
instruction manual so you know how to properly operate your new
toy. If you get started and something doesn’t make sense, odds are,
it is in the instructions.

down the road. Below are just a few things you can do to ensure
your new Model 27 enjoys a long life:
REGULARLY CLEAN THE UNIT WITH
WARM SOAPY WATER AND A
DAMP CLOTH. THE USE OF
CHEMICALS IS DISCOURAGED
CAUTION: THE MODEL 27 IS NOT
WATERPROOF! DO NOT SOAK THE
UNIT IN WATER AS THIS WILL
CAUSE IRREVERSABLE DAMAGE
Remember, show your Model 27 some love once in a while and it
