List of Parts
The CL-Talon support system only requires 2 di󰀨erent screw types for erecting the support system. All
screws are made of high strength stainless steel for long lasting durability.

Phase 1
1.1. Clear the installation area of all debris and obstructions.
1.2. Check that the substrate is of an approved mounting surface
for the CL-Talon Cladding Support System.
1.3. Apply a moisture barrier by CL-Talon or an equivalent.
1.4. Align the Base Track to the substrate. Base Track
should be spaced every 16” on the center typically or per
project specication. Base track can be installed vertically or
horizontally.
Important Note: If it is chosen to do the installation horizontally, the Base Track should
be oriented as the bigger lip should be on the top and the smaller lip should be on the
bottom (as shown on right) in order to stabilize the Therme Clip during installation.
• The leveling device is to be placed at the top and bottom of the
Wall Mount Track to ensure that it is plumb.
• With the installation of each Base Track we are leaving
a quarter inch space for expansion and contraction, this
space also allows water penetration when the system
has been installed horizontal.
Phase 2
2.1. Use the Leveling Device to level the Base Track before
securing to the substrate.
2.2. Install the approved fasteners at the top and bottom of the
Base Track to hold in place.
2.3. Install additional approved fasteners as needed or per
project specication.

Phase 3
3.1. Install the 4” or 6” Therme Clips on Base Track on every 24”
on the center vertically or per project specications according
to structural requirements. Custom size of Therme Clips can be
produced as specied per project specications.
3.2. Locate the Therme Clips vertically and horizontally following
the dimension marks shown on the Base Track. (see Clip
adjustments)
3.3. Install approved fasteners per Therme Clips specications.
Minimum of 2 approved fasteners per Therme Clip.
Phase 4
4.1. Exterior insulation can be installed in between Base
Tracks and Therme Clips.
4.2. Attach insulation per manufacturers’ specications.
• The Therme Clip is inserted into the Base Track by aligning longer side
approximately 15° degrees in to the receiver.
• It can be adjusted laterally before securing to the Base Track.
• The Therme Clips can be located vertically using the dimension lines
as guides.
• It can be secured through the center opening using the approved
fasteners to make nal adjustments before locking it in place.
• The Therme Clip can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically using
the adjustment slots per project requirements.
• The Therme Clip is secured to the Base Track using a minimum 2
approved fasteners.

The Leveling Device is to be placed at the
upper and lower sections of the Wall Mount
T-Track to ensure that it is level before applying
Wall Mount Support.
Phase 5
5.1. The Wall Mount T-Track is to be inserted
into the Therme Clips.
5.2. Using the Leveling Device adjust level of
the Wall Mount T-Track.
5.3. Once the Wall Mount T-Track is plumb, it
can be secured to the Therme Clips using the
approved fasteners.

Phase 6
6.1. Insert the Wall Mount Support at the upper and lower sections of the Wall Mount T-Track. Use either
6” or 3” Wall Mount Support. The custom size Wall Mount support can be produced as specied per
project specications.
6.2. The Wall Mount Support is to be installed every 16” on the center or per project specications. A
minimum of 4 screws per Wall Mount Support is required.
• Adjust the Wall Mount Support using the
dimension marks as guides.
• The Wall Mount Support is secured to
the Wall Mount T-Track by installing the
approved fasteners through the pre-drilled
openings located on Wall Mount Support.
• The locking fasteners are embedded into
the Wall Mount T-Track creating a ush
surface.
