Safety
• Do not use theair conditioner in environments where it can be exposed
to moisture, splashes, water,etc.
• Never use theair conditioner where flammable liquids or gases are stored.
• Never let children play with theair conditioner.
• Do not use anextension lead to connect theair conditioner to awall outlet.
• Theair conditioner must only be connected to a220–240 V, 50 Hz earthed outlet.
Thepower point used must be equipped either with acountdown timer or residual
current device (RCD).
• Do not place theair conditioner where there is arisk of it falling into water or other
liquid. Iftheair conditioner should fall into water or other liquid, unplug themains lead
from thewall socket immediately.
• Always transport theair conditioner in theupright position and ensure that it is
always placed on astable, level surface.
• If themains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by aqualified
electrician.
• All repairs must only be carried out by qualifiedstaff.
• Make sure to keep at least 30 cm of free space around theair conditioner.
• If theair conditioner should tip over, turn it off and unplug it immediately.
• Always use theon/off button on thecontrol panel to turn theair conditioner
on oroff. Neveruse themains lead plug for turning thedevice on/off.
• Never handle theair conditioner with wet hands or while barefoot.
• Only use your fingers to operate thecontrolpanel.
• Never try to open, change or modify theair conditioner in anyway.
• Never use theair conditioner if it is in any way damaged or malfunctioning.
• Never cover theair conditioner’s inlets and/or outlets.
• Never use theair conditioner in any other manner than described in this
instruction manual.
