Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save

Things to consider:
• Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency band can reduce
thetransmission range.
• Therange of all wireless equipment depends on thetype of obstacles located
between thetransmitter and thereceiver (e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with
thesignal much more than aplasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try thefollowing:
• Turn off any other existing wireless equipment to check whether this is thecause
of theproblem.
• Move any other existing wireless equipment. Shorten thedistance between
thesending and receiving devices and reduce thenumber of obstacles (walls,
furniture, etc.) between them.
Safety
• Theproduct must not be dismantled or modified in any way.
• Theweather station must not be exposed to rain or moisture.
• Theproduct is not intended to be used as areference thermometer and Clas Ohlson
will not be held liable for any damage which may result from inaccurate readings.
• Thebatteries should be removed if theproduct is not to be used for anextended
period, otherwise they might leak and damage theproduct. Never leave
adischarged battery in thebattery compartment.
• Removing the batteries from theweather station erases thesaved min and max
readings.
• Do not expose theproduct to impacts.

Installation
Batteries
Note: Use fresh, high quality alkaline batteries. Never mix old and new batteries.
Change all batteries at thesame time. Never combine rechargeable batteries with
standard batteries.
Main unit
1. Remove thebattery cover by pressing down on thebattery cover’s release latch.
2. Observe themarkings on thebottom of thebattery compartment and insert 3×AAA/
LR03 batteries.
3. Refit thebattery cover.
Sensor unit
1. Slide the battery cover in thedirection of thearrow.
2. Observe themarkings on thebottom of thebattery compartment and insert 2×AAA/
LR03 batteries.
3. Slide thebattery cover back on until it clicks into place.
Synchronisation
1. Place theunits close to each other.
2. Make sure that thechannel selector (21) is set to channel 1.
3. Synchronisation will begin automatically once all batteries are in place.
4. Theweather station will automatically display readings from channel 1 (if CH 1
does not show (7), press [CH/▲] repeatedly until CH 1 shows).
5. If theoutdoor temperature shows (coming from theoutdoor sensor) on
theweather station’s display, synchronisation is complete.
6. Theunits can now be placed at their desired locations. Note: Max range: 30 m.

Adding additional sensors using channels 2 and 3
Theweather station can be supplemented by theaddition of two extra sensors (sold
separately). Make sure that each sensor is assigned its own channel.
1. Choose asensor that you wish to broadcast on channel 2 and open its battery
compartment.
2. Set thechannel selector (21) to channel 2.
3. Observe themarkings on thebottom of thebattery compartment and insert
2×AAA/LR03 batteries.
4. Refit thebattery cover.
5. Press and hold in [CH/▲] until thesignal icon (6) begins to flash. Theweather
station will begin searching for theoutdoor sensor.
6. Press [CH/▲] repeatedly on theweather station until CH 2 appears (7).
7. After ashort moment, thereadings from channel 2 will appear on theweather station.
8. Repeat thesame procedure for setting another sensor to channel 3, if needed.
Placement/mounting
Main unit
• Theweather station has integrated temperature and moisture sensors. Be careful
when placing theunit so that it is not located near heaters, cookers, or other heat
sources.
• Theweather station can be used with its table stand (18) or hung on awall using
its eyelet (15).
• Avoid placing theunit next to metal objects such as metal window frames as this
may cause interference with reception.
Sensor unit
• Place thesensor in alocation that is protected from direct sunlight and rain.
• Mount thesensor at least 2.5 m above ground, if possible.
• Fasten ascrew to thewall and hang up thesensor from its eyelet (20).
Operating instructions
Setting thetime and date
Depress the [C/F /SET ] button for 3 seconds to reach thesettings mode. Theselected
settings will begin to flash. Press or hold in [CH/▲] or [MEM/▼] to change readings.
Confirm each stage with [C/F /SET]. Set thefollowing in sequential order:
• Year: Year setting
• Month: Month setting
• Day: Day setting
• 12H/24H: 12 or 24 hour clock setting
• Hour: Hour setting
• Minute: Minute setting

Display backlight
Press the [LIGHT] (1) to turn thebacklight on. Thelight will automatically go out after
afew seconds.
Selecting ºC/ºF
Press [C/F /SET] to select temperature display between Celsius (ºC) or Fahrenheit (ºF).
Weather forecast
Theweather station measures and gives 12–24 hour forecasts within a30–50 km
range from theweather station. Thefollowing symbols are used:
Sunny Partly cloudy Cloudy Rainy
Note: Things to consider:
• If theweather station is relocated to another location, it will take 12−24 hours for it
to adjust and recalculate in order to give reliable forecasts.
• One should never expect 100% forecast accuracy. Forecasts have about a75%
accuracy level.
• If theweather station is relocated to analtitude that differs more than one metre over
sea level, then thebatteries should be removed and re-inserted after about 20 seconds.
This will reset theweather station completely so that no false readings or forecasts
are produced.
Max and min readings
1. Press [MEM/▼] to view max temperature, humidity and barometric pressure readings.
2. Press once to display all min readings.
3. Press again to return to current readings.
Resetting max and min readings:
1. Press [MEM/▼] until themax or min readings show up on thedisplay.
2. Press and hold [C/F /SET] to reset thereadings.

Care and maintenance
Clean theproduct using alightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Troubleshooting guide
Theweather station doesn’t
display anything.
• Check thebatteries in theweather station and
connected sensor unit.
Temperature and moisture
readings are not shown
from thesensor unit.
• Make sure thecorrect channel is set on
theweather station and sensor unit.
• Reduce thedistance or relocate theunits so that
they are within range of each other.
• Check thebatteries in theweather station and
connected sensor unit.
• Re-synchronise thedevices.
See theSynchronisation section above.
Temperature, humidity and
barometric readings are
inaccurate.
• Remove thebatteries, wait awhile and then
reinsert them. Re-synchronise thedevices.
• Make sure theunits are free from interference from
heat sources, air-conditioning units, or similar.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with
general household waste. This applies throughout theentire EU. In order
to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by
incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling
so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible manner. When
recycling your product, take it to your local collection facility or contact
theplace of purchase. They will ensure that theproduct is disposed of in
anenvironmentally sound manner.
