General
This color CCD video camera employs a 1/3 inch charge coupled device
solid-state imaging device with 470/410 k or 310/270k picture elements, This
unit is equipped with a newly developed DSP (Digital Signal Processor) for
processing the video signal. A micro-controller is also introduced to provide
high color reproduction, sharp, stable picture and most of the function’s control;
the special feature for this camera is it can accept IR illumination under
minimal lighting condition.
Features
Accept IR illumination for completely dark surveillance, daytime color and auto
swap to black-white picture at night.
480 /380 lines of horizontal resolution and high quality picture by utilizing digital
processing LSI’s
Minimum illumination of 0.5 lux and signal-to-noise ratio of 48 dB is realized by
employing a high sensitivity image sensor with micro lenses and low noise circuit
design.
High quality picture –A digital signal processor performs digital horizontal and
vertical aperture enhancement to produce high-resolution picture.
A newly developed intelligent wide range Auto Tracing White Balance (ATW) that
automatically adjusts the tone according to the color temperature of the light
source illuminating the subject.
Smart digital control Auto BLC, the combination of Histogram equalizer and
Central windows weighting BLC functions ensure for use against any unusual
lighting conditions.
Advanced Auto Exposure System for both fix iris and auto iris lenses control the
amount of light to ensure it is always optimized.

White Balance
ATW mode----.
In this mode, the color temperature is monitoring continuous, and the
white balance is set automatically by internal micro-controller.
The operating color temperature range is from 2500°K to 9500°K
approximately.
Auto Back-light Compensation
This intelligent auto BLC is a newly developed digital light level control system, it is
activated automatically by screen histogram (contrast) and 225 area window
weighting integration to control iris gain and white balance simultaneous, so that the
clear object with adequate light level can always be optimized.
Central Window Weighted average Backlight compensation
This method is suited for cases where the main subject is fixed within the screen.
Histogram Backlight compensation
This method is suited for cases where the main subject moves about within the screen.
The combination of two types Backlight makes it easier to arrange Backlight
compensation operation to match the imaging conditions and installation location.
Note: Compensation may be insufficient when the background is extremely
bright
Line-Lock Phase Adjustment
DOWN
UP
The vertical phase of the camera video signal can be matched to the phase of
AC power line.
Using a dual-trace oscilloscope to observe the video output signal (V-rate) of
the camera and adjust the Line-lock Phase control buttons to line up the
phase of both signals
Caution: The adjustment must be
made by qualified servicing
person or system installer.

Setting the DAY/NIGHT Camera switch level
The Day/Night Rugged Dome includes
a lens that provides a true-color picture
during daylight hours. The camera
includes a photocell that detects when
low-light levels occur and, with the
removal of a filter from the lens,
instigates infrared (IR) operation. IR
operation provides a true black and
white picture during low light
conditions.
