BED RAIL INSTRUCTIONS
•If there is any defective, damaged or missing components, do not use.
•The bed guard should not be used unless the fixings are in place and securely attached.
•Once fitted in bed, please check to ensure that it is properly fitted between the mattress and the bed board and secure supporting feet is
located under the mattress.
•Do not put something hard, ropes, curtains etc. or anything in bed or hanging on the bedrail which may causesuffocation.
•The folding function can only be used when bed board is higher than 26cm from the floor.
•This bed guard is suitable for baby from 24 months to 5 years old; it is used only when the child is able to climb in and out of bed unaided.
•The bed guard should not be used as a substitute for a cot, as it can't provide the same level of safety as a cot.
•Not suitable for mattress height below 15 cm. Suitable for mattress height from 15cm - 20cm, length from 150cm to 230cm.
•Fit the bed guard so that its side, when in the locked position or when placed in the fitted position, touches the side of the mattress.
•Once fitted in place, the bed guard should be checked to ensure that it is properly fitted and secure.
•Any additional or replacement parts should be obtained only from the manufacturer.
•The bed guard should not be used on a sleeping surface that is more than 600mm from the floor.
•This bed guard is not suitable for bunk bed, water bed, air cushion beds and baby cots.
•This bed guard is for protection only, can't replace adult’s monitor.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the bed guard base and fabric using a mild detergent and cold water. Do not machine wash. The bed guard must be dried thoroughly
before use or storage.
WARNING
To prevent the risk of strangulation, when the bed guard is fitted into bed, there is a gap of at least 250mm between each end of the bed and the
corresponding end of the bedguard.

Step 1: Open Main Frame and lock in with Long Bolt and Nut

1. Fully open the Main Frame so it is in an L shape.
2. Stick Long Bolt through outside corner hole and feed through to inside hole.
Once Long Bolt is through both holes, twist on Nut.
3. Tighten using a wrench and/or a philips screwdriver.
Do once again to other Main Frame.

1. Grab a Supporting Foot and a Main Frame.
Press in button on Supporting Foot and lock in to Main Frame end.
2. Ensure it has clicked in.
3. Do once again with other Locking Foot and Main Frame.

1. Take both Elbow Pipes.
2. Press in button on one Elbow Pipe and lock in to other Elbow pipe.
3. Ensure it has clicked in.

Step 4: Put Elbow Pipe through Mesh Cover
1. Ensure velcro flaps on bottom of Mesh Cover are disconnected.
2. Weave connected Elbow Pipe up through side of Mesh Cover and all the way through the top compartment.
Ensure each end of the Elbow Pipe is still showing.

Ensure the knobs on the Main Frame are facing in.

1. Ensure the knobs on the Main Frame are facing in.
2. Spread Main Frame out and place Elbow Pipe on top.
3. Press in button on top of Main Frame and click into Elbow Pipe.
Do the same for the other side.
4. Pull down Mesh Cover using both hands, so fabric is neat.

1. Press in button on Straight Pipe and connect to other Straight Pipe.
2. Ensure it has clicked in.

Step 7: Feed Straight Pipe though bottom of Mesh Cover

1. Find the smaller knob on the Main Frame (one will be thicker than the other).
2. Push the Straight Pipe though the bottom of the Mesh Cover and fit into the smaller knob.

Step 8: Connect Push Pipe to thicker knob

1. Press in the button on the Push Pipe and pull back mechanism.
2. Place the Push Pipe over the thicker knob.
(It may take some force to get it to pop in.)
3. Ensure that the button on the Push Pipe clicks through.

Step 9: Attach velcro straps on Mesh Cover

1. Pull up and connect velcro straps on Mesh Cover.
2. Don’t attach too tight, or it will be difficult to pull down bed rail once installed.
Congratulations! You’ve assembled the bed rail, now we will show you how to secure onto different types of beds.

Securing Your Bed Rail Using Supporting Straps

1. Take your Supporting Strap and place the big hole on the plastic connector over the metal fastener on
the bottom of the Main Frame.
2. Pull back on the plastic connector so the small hole snaps into the metal fastener.
3. Adjust the strap to your bed’s width by pulling back on the plastic adjuster.

1. Remove the mattress or push bed rail under mattress.
2. Weave Supporting Straps the width of the bed.

Step 3: Tighten Supporting Straps and press in button

1. Tighten the Supporting Straps so blocker is flush with mattress and boxspring or bed frame.
2. Press in button on blocker so it is secured.
3. Test out the bed rail by pulling on it and make sure bed rail is secure as possible.

1. Wrap Velcro Straps around slats and Main Frame or another part of frame if possible.
2. Ensure they are tight and secure.

1. Find correct positioning to secure your bed rail where mattress is flush with Main Frame.
2. Fit the Washer Shims in the Small Screws.
3. Drill Small Screw through holes in Main Frame and into wood base.
4. Do the same with the other three Small Screws and Washer Shims.

Pull up on both sides of Main Frame Mechanism directly under the Mesh Cover.
