Step 1: Connect Power Cables
There are two power cables, both must be plugged in• Connect each power cable directly to a power source, do not use a power bar or other splitters•
Step 2: Connect Inlet Hoses
Connect each of the vacuum ports on the part to one of the inlet connections• There are 24 available inlet connections• Refer to the relevant activity for hose numbering•
Step 3: Connect the Outlet Hose
Connect the vacuum source to the outlet connection•

Start-up Instructions
Step 1: Turn on the cart power supplies
Both power switches on the back of the cart must be turned on•
Step 2: Check that the backend computer is on
If the blue light on the front face of the backend computer does not turn on with the• cart power, press the computer power button
Step 3: Turn on the frontend computer
Press the power button on the computer docking station• If the computer does not start, lift the screen and press the computer power button•
Step 4: Turn on the smart manifolds
All smart manifolds should be turned on•
Step 5: Turn on the inclinometers
Ensure that the inclinometers have charged batteries•
Step 6: Open all of the valves
All valve handles should point towards the front of the cart•

Shut-down Instructions
Step 1: Close all of the valves
All valve handles should point towards the side of the cart•
Step 2: Turn off the inclinometers
To conserve bettery power, all inclinometers should be turned off•
Step 3: Turn off the smart manifolds
All smart manifolds should be turned off•
Step 4: Turn off the frontend computer
Press the power button on the computer docking station•
Step 5: Turn off the backend computer
Press the power button on the front face of the backend computer•
Step 6: Turn off the cart power supply
Both switches on the back of the cart must be turned off•
