III. Installation et préparation
1. Installation du four
Choisir l’emplacement
Disposez le pied à l’endroit choisit
pour installer votre four. Le sol doit
être plat et stable. L’espace doit être
suffisamment dégagé (voir chapitre 1
–sécurité).
Mise à niveau
A l’aide d’une clé à fourche (SW17)
ajustez la hauteur des pieds réglables
pour mettre le four à niveau. Vérifiez
la stabilité du four et réajustez si
besoin.
Attention : Ne pas dévisser
excessivement, cela pourrait
entraîner la chute du four.
Installation du four sur le support
A l’aide d’une clé à 6 pans (M10) visser
les 6 vis avec les rondelles (fournies)
pour sécuriser le four sur le support.
Vérifier la bonne stabilité de
l’assemblage.
Attention : La face avant du four doit
être alignée avec l’inscription COOK-
R sur le pied.
Installation des pierres de cuisson
Insérer les pierres une après l’autre
dans leur logement par la porte
supérieure.
Attention : centrer les pierres. Il doit
rester un espace d’environ 1cm entre
les pierres et les parois latérales du
four.

2. Préchauffage de la peinture
Attention : la peinture est un élément fragile car elle est soumise à
des conditions extrêmes de température et d’environnement. La
première chauffe du four est une étape cruciale pour assurer une
bonne tenue de la peinture dans le temps. Prenez le temps de
suivre les étapes suivantes attentivement.
Attention : pendant la première chauffe, la peinture se ramollie et
devient très fragile. Evitez tout contact avec le four et gardez les
portes entrouvertes pour ne pas endommager la peinture. Une
forte odeur se dégage pendant la première chauffe : Faites-le en
extérieur dans un endroit très bien ventilé, ne cuisinez pas avec le
four lors de la première chauffe.
Attention : les poignées deviennent chaudes. Utilisez un gant de
cuisine adapté.
Première chauffe : Allumer quelques buchettes au centredu foyer
(porte inférieure). La température devrait atteindre environ 150
degrés pendant 1h. Ajouter ensuite du bois pour atteindre une
température d’environ 300 degrés pendant 2h. Laisser le bois se
consumer entièrement. Laisser le four refroidir complètement
pendant 24 heures. Le four est prêt à être utilisé !

IV. Conseils d’utilisation
1. Ouverture des portes
Attention : les poignées peuvent
devenir très chaudes ! Utilisez
toujours un gant de cuisine
adapté pour les manipuler.
Pour ouvrir la porte, tirer
délicatement la porte vers le
haut, puis tirez la vers vous.
Pour refermer la porte, tirer
délicatement vers le haut, puis
reposez la sur le verrou
2. Alimentation du feu
Le four est conçu pour permettre
aux flammes de remonter le long
de la paroi pour gratiner le plat
cuisiné.
Il est préférable d’utiliser du bois
de hêtre ou d’érable fendu
finement (5cm max.) et très sec.
Vous obtiendrez ainsi une bonne
chauffe et peu de fumée.
Garder la porte du bas grande
ouverte lorsdudémarragedu feu,
puis la fermer progressivement
une fois les premières braises
bien formées.
Afin de maintenir la température de cuisson constante, il est
recommandé de remettre régulièrement une petite quantité de
bois. Evitezlesgrandes variations de chauffe en remettanttropde
bois en une fois.

V. Entretien
1. Avant chaque utilisation
•Pousser les cendres vers le fond, ou les vider si nécessaire.
•Retourner les plaques de cuisson afin de cuisiner sur la
face pyrolysée par le précédent feu.
•Vérifier la bonne stabilité du four
2. Après chaque utilisation
•Lorsque votre four redescend en température (<200°c),
pulvérisez de l’huile d’arachide sur toute la surface
extérieure du four et répartissez à l’aide d’un vieux
chiffon. Ceci permet de protéger le four et redonne de la
brillance.
•Lorsque votre four est complètement éteint : si possible,
déplacez votre four à l’abri de la pluie.
•Lorsque votre four est complètement éteint : si possible,
couvrez-le avec une bâche pour barbecue. Attention,
n’utilisez que des bâches compatibles car l’humidité
emprisonnée pourrait endommager la peinture
irréversiblement.
3. Hibernage
•Retirer les plaques de cuisson et les stocker en intérieur.
•Retirer toutes les cendres.
•Nettoyer intégralement l’intérieur du four
•Ramoner la cheminée
•Si possible, stocker le four dans un abri avec les portes
entre-ouvertes

III. Installation and preparation
1. Installing the oven
Choose the location
Arrange the foot at the chosen place
to install your oven. The soil should
be flat and stable. The space must be
sufficiently clear (see Chapter 1 -
security).
Stabilize
Using a fork wrench (SW17), adjust
the height of the feet to level the
oven. Check the stability of the oven
and adjust again if necessary.
Warning: Do not unscrew excessively,
this could cause the oven to fall.
Installing the oven on the foot
Using a 6-sided key (M10) screw the 6
screws with the washers (provided) to
secure the oven on the holder. Check
the stability of the assembly.
Warning: The front of the oven
should be aligned with the COOK-R
inscription on the foot.
Installing cooking stones
Insert the stones one after the other
into their dwelling through the upper
door.
Warning: center the stones. There
should be a space of about 1cm
between the stones and the side walls
of the oven.

2. Preheating the paint
Warning:paintis afragileelementbecauseitissubjecttoextreme
temperatures and environmental conditions. The first heating of
the oven is a crucial step to ensure a good hold of the paint over
time. Take the time to follow the steps carefully.
Warning: during the first heating, the paint softens and becomes
very fragile. Avoid contact with the oven and keep doors ajar so as
not to damage the paint. A strong smell is released during the first
heating: Do it outdoors in a very well-ventilated area, do not cook
with the oven during the first heating.
Warning: the handles get hot. Use a suitable kitchen glove.
First heating: Light a few logs in the centre of the fireplace (lower
door). The temperature should reach about 150 degrees for an
hour. Then add wood to get to a temperature of about 300 degrees
for 2 hours. Allow the wood to burn completely. Allow the oven to
cool completely for 24 hours. The oven is ready to be used!

IV. Tips for use
Opening the doors
Warning:thehandlescangetvery
hot! Always use a suitable kitchen
glove to handle them.
To open the door, gently pull the
door up, then pull it towards you.
To close the door, gently pull up,
then rest it on the lock
Fire power
The oven is designed to allow the
flames to rise up the wall to
gratinate the cooked dish.
It is best to use finely split beech
or maple wood (5cm max) and
very dry. This will give you a good
heat and little smoke.
Keep the bottom door wide open
when starting the fire, then
gradually close it once the first
embers are well formed.
To keep the cooking temperature
constant, it is recommended to
regularly inserta small amount of
wood. Avoid large variations in heat by inserting too much wood at
once.

V. Maintenance
Before each use
•Pushtheashestotheback,oremptyifnecessary.
•Turn the baking stones over to cook on the face
that were in contact of the previous fire.
•Check the oven's stability
After each use
•When your oven drops in temperature (<200°C),
spray peanut oil all over the outside of the oven
and spread with an old cloth. This protects the
oven and restores shine.
•When your oven is completely off: If possible,
move it away from the rain.
•When your oven is completely off: If possible,
cover it with a barbecue tarp. Be careful, use only
compatible tarps as trapped moisture could
damage the paint irreversibly.
Hibernating
•Remove the baking stones and store them
indoors.
•Remove all ashes.
•Completely clean the inside of the oven
•Sweep the chimney
•If possible, store the oven in a shelter with the
doors ajar.
