detected.Inallalertconditions,theSystemAlerticonwillflash
repeatedlyandanauditoryalertwillsoundfor10secondsthen
continueasashortbeeponceperminuteuntilnormaloperatingconditions
arerestored.

RemovetheOEMheatsinkfromtheprocessor.Thenremoveheatsinkreten‐
tionbracketfrommotherboardbyunscrewingthefourPhilipsheadscrews
(Fig6).
Caution:backplatemayfallawayfrommotherboard.Ifthisoccurs,remove
motherboardthenrepositionbackplateandtapeinplace.
CleanThermalCompoundfromCPUCapusingapapertoweloracleancloth
andinstallthefourprovidedstandoffsintothebackplatemountingholes(Fig
7).
Installstandoffs[PartG]intotheholesfromwhichyouremovedtheheatsink
retentionframe.
Carefullyremovemotherboardandpositionappropriatebackplate(LGA1366
[PartC]orLGA775[PartD])ontheundersideoftheboard.Itisrecom‐
mendedtomakeuseofthedouble‐sidedtapeprovidedonthebackplateto
holditinplace.Thiswillaidwithinstallationprocess.

Openthesidepanelofthecomputercaseandifpossible,laythecaseonits
side.Removetheexhaustfanfromtherearofthecaseasshown(Fig3).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Important:Inordertopowerthesystem,selectanappropriate3or4‐pinfan
headertopowerDominoA.L.C..ConfirmthatallThermalRegulationsystems
(e.g.,SmartFanorQ‐Fan)aredisabledandtheheaderisconfiguredto
deliver100%power.RefertoBIOSinformationinyourMotherboardmanual.
ForLGA775/1366Motherboards
RemoveOEMheatsinkfrommotherboardbyturningeachpostcounter‐
clockwisethenpullingthepostupandawayfromthemotherboard(Fig4).
CleanThermalCompoundfromCPUCap(IHS)usingapapertoweloraclean
cloth(Fig5).

Full.Thesystemautomaticallyadjustsinallmodestoensureoperationis
maintainedwithinsafetemperatureranges.

ChangingTemperatureScale
DominoA.L.C.isshippedwiththeCelsiustemperaturescaleactivated.To
switchtoFahrenheit,proceedasfollows:
• PressandholdtheModebutton.After3secondsthedisplaywillflash
onetemperaturescalethentheother.
• ReleasetheModebuttonwhenthedesiredtemperaturescaleisshown.

INSTALLATIONPROCEDURE
Step3:MountingFHE
RemovethedisposablepackagingfromtheFHE[PartB]toexposethelayerof
thermalconductingpaste.Avoidtouchingthesurfaceofthepaste.
OrientingtheRadiatorModule[PartA]closetoitsfinalmountingpositionat
therearchassisfanlocation,positiontheFHEovertheCPU.Ensurethe
mountingscrewsarealignedwiththecorrespondingholesinthebackplate.
Step2:Prepareretentionbrackets
DominoA.L.C.isshippedreadyforinstallationintoLGA775basedsystems.

Movepin/springassembliesto
outerholesinIntelCPURetention

Removepin/springassembliesfrom
IntelRetentionBracketandreinstall
intoAMDRetentionBracket[PartE]

Oncethesystemisinplace,threadeachscrewacoupleofturnsfollowinga
crossorXpattern.Repeatpatternuntilallfourscrewsarefullyseated(Fig

Step5:Checkyourwork
Oncetheinstallationiscomplete,recheckallconnectionsandensurethatthe
RadiatorModuleandFHEaresecurelymountedinsideyourPCchassis.
Beforereplacingthechassiscover,restorepower,turnonthecomputerand
ensurethattheDominoA.L.C.fanandpumparerunning(aslightvibration
shouldbefeltwhenyoutouchthepump).
Onceithasbeenconfirmedthatthesystemhasbeeninstalledcorrectly,re‐
placethechassiscoverandbeginrealizingthebenefitsofquietcooling!
Step4:PowerConnection
Connectthe3‐pinconnectorontheRadiatorModuletothe3–or4‐pinfan
headeridentifiedinStep1.
Step3:MountingRadiatorModule
AligntheRadiatorModulewiththe
exhaustfanpositiononthebackofchas‐
siswheretheoriginal120mmx120mm
fanwasremoved.Pullvibrationdampen‐
ingrubberfanmounts[PartF]through
theholesinthechassis.
