
Caution :
The cables cannot be crisscrossed or overlapped.
Avoid twisting the heating cable during the installation
.
Avoid shocks and injuries on the cable duct.
Keep an 8" space in front of existing heating sources.
Do not install under furniture that would prevent air dispersion.
It is important that each cable be grounded properly
(
see drawing #2).
Do not energize heating cables until concrete has thoroughly cured.
Do not used rubber or vinyl backing carpets.
Wrong voltage, even brief, applied on the heating cable would damage it.
Testing :
Verify heating cable continuity BEFORE and AFTER concrete pour. Using a minimum 1000 volts
insulation meter.

WARRANTY :
COPAL warrants to the original purchaser its heating cables against all defects relative to parts or labour for a
10-year period from the date of purchase for installation.
COPAL commits itself to replace any cable that could be found defective relative to parts or labour during the
said period of 10 years provided that a written notice to this effect is forwarded to Copal within the prescribed
delay. Such repair or replacement is and will be COPAL’S SOLE OBLIGATION. Distribution and regulation
equipment is subject to manufacturer’s warranty rules and is normally not covered by this present warranty.
Please follow manufacturer’s recommendations to install such equipment.
