ɡSetting example : How to display distance by using a displacement sensor.
ɡExternal input terminals
The major setting items in this example are as follows:
1. Setting conditions:
・
Use a displacement sensor to display distance.
・
Use only CH 1 as only one sensor is used.
・
The unit of display is “mm” .
・
The output of the sensor is 50 mm and 100 mm at 1 V output and 5 V output respectively.
・
The comparative output in the distance display is made on a “Pass”, “LO
(Lower limit : 100 mm or lower) or HI (Higher limit: 250 mm or higher) basis.
●“Physical value” is defined in this Digest of Operation Manual as the value which is processed and
obtained by way of moving average and scaling method.
●“Input voltage2 is defined in this Digest of Operation Manual as the voltage which is input from the
sensor to the input terminals between IN 1 + / IN – and IN 2 + / IN 2 -.
2.Setting items
The setting items are shown in Table 2 “Setting examples” as follows.
See “Parameter List” on the reverse side of this document for the parameter default values.
