Notice and apology regarding the possibility of
data loss, and explanation of recovery method
It has been found that in BR-900CD Version 2 while using the
included 1 GB memory card, the “Drive Busy!” indication is
sometimes followed by a “Card Read Error!” indication, at
which time the system can no longer be used normally.
If this occurs, it is possible that the track data being recorded
at the time that “Drive Busy!” occurs may have been
corrupted.
This data corruption is only for that single track, but since an
error has occurred, subsequent playback and recording will
not be possible.
However, it is possible to recover the uncorrupted track data.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. In order to
restore your song data to a usable condition, please follow
the procedure given below to back up the uncorrupted
tracks, and then reconstruct your song data.
Overview of the procedure
Broadly speaking, you’ll need to back up and then restore
your data in the following order.
