A. Remove clips from handle brackets and
put lower handle into place over handle
brackets.
B. Insert carriage screws through upper hole
in lower handle from the inside and secure
with wing nuts.
A. Unfold and align upper handle with
lower handle.
B. Secure upper handle to lower handle with
carriage bolts and star knobs.
C. Slowly pull starter rope up from engine.
Slip starter rope into rope guide. Tighten
rope guide wing nut.
A. Slide hose adapter of hose assembly into
base adapter located on left front of the
Yard Vacuum.
B. Pull spring loaded pin out on base and
align pin with first hole (closest to end of
tube) in hose adapter. Release pin to lock
hose in place.
A. Lay hose tubing in curved end of
handle next to chipper chute and
into hose cradle.
B. Snap hose handle first into upper
hose handle bracket and then into
lower hose handle bracket.

• Pour the entire contents of the oil bottle
(included in carton) into the oil fill.
• Fill fuel tank with clean, fresh gasoline. Do not
over-fill tank.

Switch Wire
Bag/chute switch must be fully
depressed for engine to start. Make
sure bag/chute wire is connected
to engine and grounded to
mounting bracket.
1. Grasp bag handle and slide locking rod on
mounting bracket toward engine.
2. Slip bag over rim of discharge opening and
release locking rod.
3. Snap bag clip to top of lower handle.
4. Hook lower straps onto studs on lower handle

To Adjust Nozzle Height:
1. Press nozzle height adjustment lever
toward wheel.
2. Move lever forward or backward to
adjust upward or downward.
3. Release lever toward deck to secure.
