SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING
ALWAYS consult your physician before beginning a strenuous new exercise
programme.
This is NOT a medical device. The heart rate monitor provides an approximation for
fitness purposes but should not be used for medical purposes in place of your
physician.
This treadmill is intended for home use ONLY. Keep this treadmill indoors and away
from damp and dusty environments.
ONLY place this treadmill on firm level surfaces with wide clearance in front and to
the side. Do not place this treadmill on deep (plush/shag/etc.) carpeting. Place a
cloth or other protection beneath the treadmill if some lubricant falls during use.
DO NOT operate this treadmill around aerosol products or pure oxygen.
ONLY use with steady and compatible electrical sources. Use with a surge protector
is recommended in case of irregularities in domestic power supplies.
DO NOT plug other high-power devices into the same circuit while the treadmill is
in use.
Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
Check all parts for wear or damage before use. If any is detected, repair or replace
such parts before continued use.
This treadmill is intended for use by only one person at a time.
This treadmill should ONLY be used by persons weighing 120 kg (265 lb.) or less.
Ensure all users of this treadmill are aware of its proper use and never allow children
on or near the treadmill.
This treadmill is NOT intended for use by persons with reduced physical, mental, or
sensory capacities unless supervised by a trained physical therapist.
ALWAYS wear appropriate well-fitting clothing and shoes while using this treadmill.
Avoid excessively loose clothes that might become caught in the treadmill. Never
use while barefoot; while wearing only socks or stockings; or while wearing sandals,
high heels, or other insecure footwear.
Keep clothing, fingers, and loose hair away from moving parts.
Stand on the side rails when starting and stopping the treadmill and ONLY when
starting and stopping the treadmill.
Change speed in small increments.
Hold the handrails to prevent falling & practice using the machine's emergency stop.
Stop the treadmill if you feel faint, dizzy, or out of breath.
Never leave the treadmill unattended while it is running. Remove the key, press the
power button, and unplug the treadmill when it is not in use.
Do not place objects on, in, or under the treadmill except as part of its intended use
or maintenance.
Never try to adjust or fix the belt while it is moving.
Set the incline to zero before storing the treadmill.
Do not attempt to move the treadmill if you cannot safely support its weight.

Body Fat Testing
Press until reaching P12, then press again. The speed window will show the
parameter and the time window its value.
F-1 Gender Select male (1) or female (2)
F-2 Age Select an age between 10 & 99 years old
F-3 Height Select a height between 100 and 220 cm.
F-4 Weight Select a weight between 20 and 150 kg.
Ⓟ
Ⓟ

7
F-5 is the body fat test itself. Hold the heart rate grip in the armrests until the treadmill
displays your estimated body fat percentage. In general, values <19 are underweight;
values between 26 and 29 are overweight; and values >30 indicate obesity. This estimate
is, of course, rough and not a substitute for consultation with your physician.
Sleep Mode
The treadmill will turn off its displays when 10 minutes have passed since its last operation.
Press any key to end sleep mode.
Exercise
Again, remember to consult with your physician before beginning any new programme of
strenuous exercise.
Warm up
If you will be undertaking strenuous exercise on your treadmill, it is highly advisable to
warm up with 5–10 minutes of light jogging or less strenuous use of your treadmill.
Exercise
Regular walking, jogging, and/or running in conjunction with adequate protein intake, will
slowly tone and strengthen the muscles of your body but for the most part it is an aerobic
or cardiovascular exercise. For optimal benefit to your heart and lungs, aim to maintain
your heart rate in the following zone:
Again, it is advisable to consult with your physician if you have any conditions or
medications that require adjustment of this general chart.
With regular exercise lasting at least 12 minutes per session, you should find that
maintaining this rate involves faster running. This shows your improving health. For best
results, exercise at least 3 times spread evenly through the week.

8
Cool Down
After the most vigorous part of your workout, you should cool down by jogging lightly or
walking at a slower pace for 5–10 minutes. This lets your hearts, lung, and muscles return
to their usual activity more gently, promotes better health gains, and reduces the risk of
injury.
Results
To tone your muscles more quickly using your treadmill, ensure that you have sufficient
daily protein intake, allow one day of rest between strenuous sessions, and increase the
incline of the running belt during the main exercise phase of your sessions. You will find
that you have to reduce your usual speed to keep your heart rate in its target zone.
To lose weight more quickly, do not starve yourself but ensure that your base metabolism
plus the calorie use of your sessions exceeds your daily caloric intake by at least 300
calories. If this is your main goal, you may find that longer slower sessions burn more
calories even if they do not deliver as much cardiovascular improvement.
MAINTENANCE
Clean the surfaces of the treadmill using a soft damp cloth and mild soap or detergent.
Never use harsh solvents. Always wait for the treadmill to dry completely before reuse.
Turn off, unplug, fold, and remove the treadmill to clean the area underneath it.
Inspect the treadmill's parts before use. Repair or replace any worn or defective parts
before use.
Periodically inspect the bolts of the machine and tighten if necessary.
Periodically tighten the running belt ifitbegins to feel loose
using an Allen key to turn both sides' adjustment screws
clockwise. Do not overtighten. There should be no
slippage at the front roller but you should still be able to lift
the middle of the belt about 5 cm (2 in.).
Periodically check the running belt's alignment. Runat about 3.5 km/h and feel for skew
to the right or left. To eliminate skew to the left, use an Allen key to turn the left
adjustment screw clockwise and the right adjustment screw anti-clockwise. To eliminate
skew to the right, use an Allen key to turn the right adjustment screw clockwise and the
left adjustment screw anti-clockwise.

9
Everymonth,ensurethemotorisfreeof dustby turningoffand unpluggingthetreadmill;
removing the motor cover; waiting for all LED lights to turn off; and dusting the motor
and lower board. Failure to perform this maintenance may lead to premature failure of
electrical components in dusty environments.
Periodically add silicone oil lubricant.
Turn off the treadmill and unplug it. Loosen the running belt by using an Allen key to
turn both sides' adjustment screws anti-clockwise. Apply lubricant to the entire top
surface of the running deck. Lubricate the shocks with teflon-based sprays. Retighten
the belt, plug in and turn on the treadmill, and run it at 1 km/h to apply the lubricant
evenly. Assist its absorption by carefully walking rightand left across the tread for about
two minutes.
When the treadmill is first received, lubricant should be applied after the first 50 hours
of use but if the treadmill is kept reasonably clean more lubricant will not be needed
until after the next 1200 hours of use. For light use, this will be roughly every 6 months;
for moderate use (3–5 hr./wk.), roughly every 3 months; and for heavy use, roughly
every 6–8 weeks. Typically, lubricant should be applied when the inner surface of the
running belt begins to feel dry while the treadmill is folded.
About every two years, replace your treadmill's motor brushes.
