• Ensure appliance is situated in an open area, do not allow it to come
in contact with Cupboards, Curtains, wall coverings, clothing or other
ammable materials.
• Unplug after each use. Grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Metallic containers for food and beverages are not allowed during
microwave cooking.
• When heating food in plastic containers or paper containers, keep and
eye on the oven due to the possibility of ignition.
• The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or
shaken and the temperature checked before consumption, in order to
avoid burns.
• This appliance shall not be cleaned with a steam cleaner.
• The microwave oven is intended to be used free-standing.
• Do not place this microwave into a cabinet.
• Warning: Remove wire twists from paper and plastic bags before
placing in the oven.
• Do not heat oil or fat for deep frying in the oven as the temperature of
the fat can’t be controlled.
• After use wipe the waveguide cover with a damp cloth, followed by
a dry cloth to remove any food splashes and grease. Built up grease
may overheat and smoke or ignite.
• If materials inside the oven smoke or ignite, keep the door closed, turn
oven o󰀨 and disconnect the power supply in order to stie any ames.
• WARNING: Liquids and other foods must not be heated in sealed
containers since they are liable to explode; Baby bottles tted with a
screw cap or teat are considered sealed containers.
• Liquids should be heated in a wide mouthed container and left for a
short period after the heating cycle to avoid possible hazards such as
delayed eruptive boiling of the liquid. Therefore care must be taken
when handling the container.
• Potatoes, sausage and other skinned foods should be pierced before
heating.
• Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be
heated in microwave ovens since they may explode, even after the

• Select a level surface no less than 85cm (33 inches) from the oor,
that provides enough space for the outlet vents.
• A minimum clearance of 5cm (2 inches) is required between the oven
and any adjacent wall, with a minimum clearance of 10cm (4 inches)

Operating your microwave oven
• During cooking, if you press Stop/Cancel button once, the program
will be paused. Press Start/Quick Start button again to resume,
If you press Stop/Cancel button once while in paused state, the
program will be cancelled.
• After cooking ends, the display will show End and a beep will sound
every two minutes until user press any button or open the door.
Using your microwave oven
1. Place the Microwave Oven on a solid level, heat resistant surface,
ensure that the ventilation outlets are not obstructed.
2. Before rst use open the door and place the Turntable Support (5) in
the base of the oven as shown in the diagram above.
3. Place the glass Turntable (3) onto the Motor Spindle (4). Rotate the
Turntable a little until the notches in the turntable drop onto the Motor
Spindle (4).
4. Insert the mains plug into the nearest socket.
5. The display will light up and show ‘1:00’, CLOCK and a beep will
sound.
6. To stop cooking at any time, press the Stop/Cancel button once to
pause, or twice to cancel cooking.
Setting the clock
The digital clock is set to the 12hr or 24hr cycle.
1. Press the Clock button once or twice 12hr or 24hr.
2. Use the Number buttons to set the time.
3. Press the Clock button to conrm.
Note: During cooking or pause state, you can check the time by pressing
the Clock button.
Microwave cooking
There are 10 microwave power levels:
1. In standby mode, press the Number buttons to set the cooking time.
The longest cooking time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.

Express Cooking
The microwave oven will operate on 100% with the express cooking
program. You can use the express cooking program from 30 seconds.
The time goes up increments of 30 seconds with each press.
Press Start/Quick Start button in quick succession to set the
required time, the oven will immediately start to cook the food. The time
can be increased by pressing the Start/Quick Start button during
cooking.
Speed Defrost
The oven can be set to speed defrost by time. The longest defrost time is
99 minutes and 99 seconds.
1. Place the food in a container suitable for a microwave oven.
2. Press the Speed Defrost button once.
3. Press the Number buttons to set the defrost time.
4. Press the Start/Quick Start button to start defrosting.
Note: During defrosting, the microwave will pause to remind you to turn
food over, once turned, press the Start/Quick Start button to resume
defrosting.

Defrost by weight
The oven can be used to defrost by the weight of the food you have
selected, the oven automatically sets the defrost power and time once the
weight has been selected.
The weight can be set between 100g and 1800g.
1. Press the Defrost By Weight button once.
2. Press the Number buttons to select the weight.
3. Press Start/Quick Start button to start defrosting.
Note: During defrosting, the microwave will pause to remind you to turn
food over, once turned, press the Start/Quick Start button to
resume defrosting.
Defrosting tips
Microwaves penetrate approximately 4cm into most foods, to maximise
defrosting e󰀨ects, the following is advised:
• For thick and chunky foods, turn the food regularly during operation in
order to obtain uniform thawing.
• If food is over 2.0kg it is advised to turn it a minimum of two times.
• Do not refreeze food once defrosted.
• The following table provides a guide to defrost times for various foods:

Auto function menu
This auto function has eight pre-set cooking programs. You do not need
to set either cooking times or power level. The table in the below shows
the details of the programs.
1. In standby mode, select the food desired from the auto menu screen
on the front panel, and press the button.
2. To select the weight or serving press the button again until the correct
weight or portion is displayed.
3. Press the Start/Quick Start button to start cooking.

The result of auto cooking depends on factors such as uctuation
of voltage, the shape and size of food, your personal preference
as to the how well cooked certain foods are and even how well you
happen to place food in the oven. If you nd the result at any rate not
quite satisfactory, please adjust the cooking time a little bit accordingly.
For Milk/Co󰀨ee and Baked Potato, the display will show the number of
servings and not the weight.

Cook by weight
Ideal for cooking cuts of meat for example: beef, pork or lamb.
1. In standby mode, press the Cook By Weight button once.
2. Choose a cooking program by pressing between 1 and 3 for the type
of meat to be cooked.
3. Press the number buttons again to input the weight of the meat.
4. Press the Start/Quick Start button to start cooking.

Note: Meat must be defrosted and at refrigeration temperature before
cooking. During cooking, the microwave will pause to remind you to turn
the meat over. Press the Start/Quick Start button to resume cooking.
Let meat stand before a few minutes before carving.
Multi stage cooking
Your microwave oven can be programmed for up to 2 automatic
microwave cooking sequences. The rst with a high power level and the
second with a lower power level.
1. In standby mode, press the Number buttons to set a microwave
cooking time.
2. Press the Power Level button once, the power level will default to
100% power (P100) .
3. To change the power level, press the Number buttons.
4. Do not press the Start/Quick Start button. Press the Cook button
once.
5. Press the Number buttons to set a second microwave cooking time.
6. Press the Power Level button once, the power level will default to
100% power (P100) .
7. To change the power level, press the Number buttons.
8. Press the Start/Quick Start button to start cooking.
Note: the multi-stage function only works on Microwave cooking.
Speed defrost, auto defrost and auto cook menus cannot be set in the
multi-stage function.

Child lock
The child lock can be set and all operation will be disabled, the display
will show the lock symbol.
To set: in standby mode, if no button is pressed within one minute,
the microwave will automatically go into child lock mode, and the lock
indicator will light up.
To cancel: open the oven door to cancel the child lock, the lock indicator
will go o󰀨.
Utensils guideline
It is recommended that only utensils and containers marked safe for
microwave use should be used in this microwave oven. As a general
rule a container made from heat resistant ceramic, glass or plastic
are suitable for microwave cooking. Never use metal containers for
microwave cooking.

Timer
Your microwave oven can be used as a kitchen timer, to set the timer:
1. Press Timer button once.
2. Use number buttons to set desired time. The longest time is 99
minutes and 99 seconds.
3. Press the Start/Quick Start button to conrm.
Note: When the countdown ends, the display will show End and will
beep to remind you. The time count down can be seen for 5 seconds
by pressing theTimer button, you can cancel the time by pressing the
Stop/Cancel button and the display will revert back to the time.
Button protection
During operation, if at anytime any button is pressed accidentally for 60
seconds, the cooking program will stop immediately, the display will show
FAIL and a beep will be heard. All buttons will be disabled. To correct this,
release the button and press Stop/Cancel.
Cooking tips
• Arrange the food so thicker pieces are towards the edge of the
container and thinner pieces towards the centre.
• Initially cook for a short time period in order to evaluate the true
cooking time required.
• Food should be turned/stirred during cooking to allow for even
heating.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Always ensure that the microwave oven is switched o󰀨 and
disconnected from the wall socket before cleaning.
• The turntable and rotating ring can be removed and cleaned in warm
water with a mild detergent.
• The inside and outside of the microwave oven should be cleaned
regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent, paying particular
attention to the waveguide cover. All food splashes and spills should
be removed.

Servicing
Servicing and repairs should only be carried out by qualied service
personnel
WARNING
Some components still retain a high voltage charge even when the
microwave oven is disconnected from the mains supply, never remove
covers or guards.
If any part of the oven or cord become damaged stop using it immediately
and seek advice from qualied service personnel.
Non-Wireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-wireable plug tted to the
mains lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA
approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt,
consult a qualied electrician who will be pleased to do this for you. If
you need to remove the plug – DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS –
and then cut it o󰀨 the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely.
Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is
a danger of electric shock.
