Diese Betriebsanleitung enthält alle erforderlichen Angaben für eine einwandfreie Handhabung
und Pege der DEGARDO® Produkte mit Beleuchtung. Die Hinweise und Anweisungen dieser
Betriebsanleitung sind zu beachten.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die DEGARDO® Produkte dienen als Panz- und Leuchtobjekte im Innen- und Außenbereich,
und dabei insbesondere der Aufnahme von Panzen.
Inbetriebnahme (Produkte mit Beleuchtung)
Die Produkte werden anschlussfertig geliefert. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose.
Bepanzung und Inbetriebnahme
DEGARDO® Produkte können Sie im Innen- und Außenbereich einsetzen und direkt bepanzen.
Abbildung A – Aufstellen im Außenbereich – Variante beleuchtet
Für die Aufstellung einen ebenen und festen Untergrund wählen. Um den Ablauf von
überschüssigem Niederschlagswasser zu gewährleisten, muss der Stopfen, welcher sich unten im
Panzbereich bendet, entfernt werden. Nutzen Sie dazu einen Maulschlüssel oder eine Zange
(Tipp: Bewahren Sie den Stopfen gut auf, falls Sie den Standort des Panzobjektes ändern.)
Unsere Empfehlung: Füllen Sie eine Drainage-Schicht (Blähton, Kies, etc.) ein und decken
Sie diese mit einem Vlies ab, bevor Sie mit der Bepanzung beginnen. Für den Außeneinsatz
müssen Sie zuvor den Stopfen entfernen (siehe Abbildung A – Aufstellen im Außenbereich –
Variante beleuchtet).

Die Fernbedienung hat folgenden Programmmöglichkeiten:

Pege und Wartung
Reinigung
Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel, die Lösungsmittel oder Benzin enthalten!
Die Oberäche kann mit einem feuchten Tuch, mit verdünntem Haushaltreiniger
oder mit Seifenlauge gereinigt werden. Benutzen Sie für mühelose und
hervorragende Reinigungsergebnisse den DEGARDO® Spezialreiniger in der
praktischen Sprühasche. Dieser Reiniger ist auf die Materialien und Oberächen
der DEGARDO® Produkte optimiert.
Reinigung mit dem Hochdruckreiniger
Besonders hartnäckige Verschmutzungen können mittels eines Hochdruckreinigers entfernt
werden. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen Druck von 100 bis 150 bar ein. Halten Sie zwischen
Düse und Gefäß einen Mindestabstand von 30 Zentimeter ein. Ein Hochdruckachstrahl bietet
bei einem Spritzwinkel von 25 Grad einen schonenden Schmutzabtrag. Verwenden Sie keine
rotierende Punkt-Strahldüse (sog. Dreckfräserdüse). Halten Sie die Düse nicht direkt auf den
Beleuchtungsträger oder deren Dichtung.

Wichtiger Sicherheitshinweis!
Verletzungsgefahr durch Stromschlag bei unsachgemäßer Benutzung.
Reparaturen dürfen nur durch den Hersteller oder seinem Service durchgeführt
werden! Reparaturen an der Elektrik dürfen nur von einer Elektrofachkraft
ausgeführt werden.
Die LED-Leuchtmittel sind fest im Produkt installiert und dürfen durch Laien nicht
repariert werden. Die in diesem Produkt verwendeten LED haben eine sehr
hohe Lebensdauer und sind nicht austauschbar. Bei Beschädigungen darf das Produkt nicht weiter
betrieben werden. Im Fall erforderlicher Reparaturen ist das Produkt über den Händler oder direkt
an DEGARDO zu senden. Die Anschrift nden Sie auf der Rückseite dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
Bitte Ihre vollständigen Absenderangaben, eine Kopie des Kaufbelegs und eine detaillierte
Beschreibung des Defektes der Sendung beifügen. Bei unsachgemäßer und eigenmächtiger
Reparatur erlischt jede Gewährleistung.
Bedienung der Produkte mit LED RGBW –
Beleuchtung mittels der Fernbedienung
Die Fernbedienung ist ab Werk mit der Leuchte gekoppelt.
Sie müssen zur Verwendung die Fernbedienung in die Richtung der STORUS halten.
Die Reichweite der Fernbedienung liegt ca. bei 10 m bei freier Sicht auf den STORUS.
Batteriewechsel der Fernbedienung
Gehen Sie dazu folgendermaßen vor:
1. Öffnen Sie den Verschlussdeckel des Batteriefachs auf der Rückseite der Fernbedienung.
2. Ersetzen Sie die zwei Batterien (Micro Typ AAA) im Batteriefach.
3. Schieben Sie den Verschlussdeckel von hinten auf bis dieser spürbar einrastet.
4. Um Fehlfunktionen auszuschließen, warten Sie bitte nach dem Einsetzen neuer Batterien
3 Sekunden, bevor Sie den Betrieb erneut aufnehmen.

Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie die verschiedenen Komponenten des Produkts nach den
jeweiligen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen bzw. führen Sie die Komponenten der
Wiederverwertung zu. Entsorgen Sie die Leuchtmittel und Batterien fachgerecht,
wie gesetzlich vorgeschrieben. Für die Entsorgung der Leuchtmittel stehen
bundesweit Wertstoffhöfe und Sammelstellen zur Verfügung, die die alten
Leuchtmittel kostenlos entgegennehmen.

This instruction manual contains all the necessary information for the correct handling and
maintenance of DEGARDO® products with lighting. The information and instructions in this
instruction manual must be observed.
Intended use
DEGARDO® products serve as planters and lighting objects in indoor and outdoor areas,
particularly as a receptacle for plants.
Setup (illuminated products)
The products are supplied ready for connection. Insert the power plug into the socket.
Planting and setup
DEGARDO® products can be used indoors and outdoors and used directly as a planter.

Select a stable and level surface to set up the planter. To ensure the drainage of excess rainwater,
the plug at the bottom of the planting area must be removed. This requires the use of a spanner or
pliers (tip: keep the plug somewhere safe in case you change the location of the planter in future.)
Our recommendation: Pour a drainage layer (expanded clay, gravel, etc.) into the bottom of
the planter and cover it with a sheet of non-woven fabric before planting. For outdoor use, rst
remove the plug (see Figure A – Outdoor Setup – Illuminated version).

Care and maintenance
Cleaning
Do not use cleaning agents containing solvents or kerosene!
The surface may be wiped with a damp cloth, with a thinned down domestic
cleaner or soapy water. For effortless and outstanding cleaning results, use the
DEGARDO® special cleaner in a practical spray bottle. This cleaner is optimised
for the materials and surfaces of DEGARDO® products.
Cleaning with a high-pressure washer
Especially stubborn dirt may be removed using a high-pressure cleaner. Set the equipment to a
pressure of 100 to 150 bar. Ensure a minimum distance of 30 centimetres between the nozzle and
the container. A high-pressure water spray with a spray angle of 25 degrees allows contamination to
be gently cleaned off. Do not use rotating point spray nozzles (dirtblaster nozzles). Do not aim the
nozzle directly at the lighting support or its seal.

Repair
Important safety notice!
Risk of injury by electric shock if used improperly.
Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer or manufacturer service!
Repairs to the electrical equipment may only be carried out by a specialist
electrician.
The LED bulbs are permanently installed in the product and may not be repaired
by laypersons. The LEDs used in this product have an extremely long service
life and are not replaceable. If damaged, cease operation of the product. If repairs are required, the
product should be sent to DEGARDO either directly or via the dealer. The address can be found
on the back page of these operating instructions. Please include full contact details, a copy of
your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the fault. Improper or unauthorised repair will
invalidate any warranty.
Selecting a colour programme
The remote control offers the following programming options:
FLASH Abrupt and quick change between all colours
STROBE Abrupt and slow change between all colours
FADE Gentle change between all colours
SMOOTH Abrupt change between all colours followed by a gentle change between all colours
Operating the product with LED RGBW –
lighting via the remote control
The remote control is coupled with the light by default.
The remote control must be pointed towards the STORUS for it to work.
The remote control has a range of approx. 10 m with an unobstructed view of the STORUS.
Changing the remote control batteries
Proceed as follows:
1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Replace the two batteries (micro AAA) in the battery compartment.
3. Slide the cover back on until it clicks into position.
4. To prevent incorrect operation after replacing the batteries, wait 3 seconds before
using the equipment again.

Disposal
Dispose of the various components of the product in accordance with the
relevant legal regulations or send the components for recycling. Dispose of the
bulbs and batteries properly as required by law. Nationwide recycling centres and
collection points are available for disposing of bulbs, where the old bulbs will be
accepted free of charge.

Pour l’installation, choisissez un sol plat et solide. Pour garantir l’écoulement de l’excès d’eaux de
pluie, retirez le bouchon qui se trouve au fond de l’espace de plantation. À cet effet, utilisez une clé
plate ou une pince (conseil : conservez le bouchon au cas où vous souhaiteriez déplacer le bac à
plantes).
Notre recommandation : Remplissez une couche de drainage (argile expansée, gravier, etc.) et
recouvrez-la d’un voile non-tissé avant de commencer la plantation. Pour l’utilisation extérieure,
vous devez d’abord retirer le bouchon (voir Illustration A – Installation en extérieur – Variante
avec éclairage).

Entretien et maintenance
Nettoyage
N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage qui contiennent des solvants ou de
l’essence !
Nettoyez la surface avec un chiffon humide, un nettoyant ménager dilué ou de
l’eau savonneuse. Pour obtenir facilement d’excellents résultats de nettoyage,
utilisez le nettoyant spécial DEGARDO® en spray pratique. Ce nettoyant a été
optimisé pour les matériaux et les surfaces des produits DEGARDO®.
Nettoyage au nettoyeur haute pression
Les salissures particulièrement tenaces peuvent être nettoyées à l’aide d’un nettoyeur haute
pression. Réglez le nettoyeur sur une pression comprise entre 100 et 150 bars. Maintenez une
distance minimale de 30 centimètres entre la buse et le bac. Un jet large haute pression permet
de procéder à un nettoyage en douceur à un angle de jet de 25 degrés. N’utilisez pas de buse
à jet crayon rotatif (rotabuse). N’orientez pas la buse directement sur le luminaire ou son joint
d’étanchéité.

Consigne de sécurité importante !
Risque de blessure par électrocution en cas d’utilisation non conforme.
Les réparations doivent être uniquement effectuées par le fabricant ou son
service après-vente ! Les réparations sur le système électrique ne doivent être
réalisées que par un électricien qualié.
Les ampoules LED sont installées de manière xe dans le produit et ne doivent
pas être réparées par des novices. Les LED utilisées dans ce produit ont une très
longue durée de vie et ne peuvent pas être remplacées. En cas de dommages, le produit ne doit
plus être utilisé. Si le produit doit être réparé, envoyez le produit par l’intermédiaire du revendeur
ou directement à DEGARDO. L’adresse se trouve au dos de ce mode d’emploi. Veuillez joindre vos
coordonnées complètes, une copie de la facture et une description détaillée du défaut. En cas de
réparation effectuée de manière non conforme par le client, toute garantie est annulée.

La télécommande propose les programmes suivants :

Utilisation des produits avec éclairage LED RGBW –
éclairage à l’aide de la télécommande
La télécommande est couplée à la lampe départ usine.
Pour pouvoir l’utiliser, vous devez tenir la télécommande en direction du STORUS.
La portée de la télécommande s’élève à env. 10 m en cas de vue dégagée sur le STORUS.
Remplacement des piles de la télécommande
Procédez comme suit :
1. Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment à piles au dos de la télécommande.
2. Remplacez les deux piles (micro type AAA) dans le compartiment à piles.
3. Poussez le couvercle depuis l’arrière jusqu’à ce qu’il s’encliquette de manière perceptible.
4. Pour éviter tout dysfonctionnement, veuillez attendre
3 secondes avant de vous servir de la télécommande.
Utilisation avec la télécommande
Élimination
Éliminez les différents composants du produit conformément aux dispositions
légales en vigueur ou mettez-les au recyclage. Éliminez les ampoules et les
piles dans les règles de l’art, comme prescrit par la loi. Pour l’élimination des
ampoules, il existe dans tout le pays des centres de recyclage et de collecte qui
reprennent gratuitement les ampoules usagées.
