1. UNPACKING THE EQUIPMENT
Check whether the lamp is damage or not during transport. In the event of external
damage to the product, contact the company responsible for transport and your supplier
immediately before use. Make sure that no part is missing. If some of the part is missing,
please contact your supplier for help as soon as possible.
2. TRANSPORTATION OF THE EQUIPMENT
When the lamp is not in use, especially when the lamp is being shipped, be sure not to
mount battery inside the lamp in order to avoid the lamp being unintentionally switched on.
3. HANDLING OF THE EQUIPMENT / INTENDED USE
Although the lamp is sturdily made, in view of the expensive electronic components it
composed of, it should be treated with certain amount of care.
Exterior surfaces should be cleaned with a soft lint free cloth and mild detergebnt, and the
UV filters be treated with clean cloth and glass washing agent. Do not disassemble the
unit for cleaning without well training by professionals. Disassemble of lids may lead to
termination of warrenty.
The lamp can be switched on and off at any interval. After white light inspection, keep in
mind that dark vision (scotopic vision) is temporarily lost and operators has to be in dark
environment for at least 30 seconds to regain dark adaptation. Refer to your industrial
standard for more detaild information.
Make sure the unit has good ventilation. Do not mount the unit in a close compartment
and cover any part of the unit. The unit is cooled by convection by surrounding air, thus
removing all obstacles for efficien convection.
UV LED lamp is intended for handheld use or hung by a hook or mounted on a bracket.
Lamp is intended to irradiante and inspection surface.
UV LED lamp should always wear UV blocking eye protection.

6. WARNING AND SAFETY
Warning!
General UV Safety Information
Unprotected and prolonged exposure to any form of UV light, including UV-A, can be resul
in skin injures, cataracts and possibility cancer. Even brief exposure can be hazardous if
the UV intensity is very high. Thus, it is advised to always shield the eyes/face. For
maximum protection and whnever possible, hands and arms should be covered with long
sleeves and gloves of a non-fluorescent material.
Artifical UV light
Artificial UV light is often regarded as something completely different from the sun’s
radiation. Recommended hygienic exposure times have been calculated for these types of
UV sources, the aim being to prevent injuries and increase safety awareness when
working with artificial UV. Artificial UV, such as that emitted from UV lamps, should be
regarded as natural UV, i.e. sunlight and appropriate safety measures should be taken
accordingly. Artificial UV source are used in many industries for many applications. UV is
used in combination with a fluorescent media, which is excited by the UV energy and
“reflects” light in the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum
Sensitivity
Certain individual are naturally hypersensitive to all forms of UV and should avoid
andyexposure. In general, if itching, inflammation or other unusual symptoms occu, UV
exposure should cease immediately. People using certain drugs that produce photo
sensitivity shoulp avoid exposure to all UV sources.
Safety Standard
According to EN 62471, comply with Risk Class 2, Moderate Risk.
Heat
Unit generates heat that needs to dissipate though convection. Do not cover unit when
operating.

Ultraviolet radiation can cause damage to skin and eyes. See the
following recommendations:
- Do not look directly into the UV-LED light beam
- Never use optical focus devices, such as magnifying glasses,
tele-scopes or microscopes, to look into the light beam. In this
context, corrective glasses are not included in focusing optical devices.
- Do not direct the UV-LED beam against other people
- Always position the UV-LED light below eye-level
- Avoid skin contact. Wear body-covering work clothes and suitable gloves or lotions
with a high UV protection factor
- Access to the light’s zone of activity should be restricted to trained personnel
- Wear suitable eyw protection (UV safety glasses), due to reflection of UV-LED light,
damage to the eyes can occur without looking directly into the lamp
- Only authorized and trained personnel should be allowed within the work area
7. UV LIGHT SOURCE PERFORMANCE
The UV LED light source is a specifically designed UV LED. The spectrum is strictly focus
on 365-370 nm with a peak at 365 nm, creates an effect with an unbeatable response
from any fluorescent media.
UV is Dangerous – Protect yourself!
UV Goggles: it is of utter importance to use the UV protection. To protect your eyes, use
UV Blocking Goggles. There are different goggles on the market. Enclosed with this lamp
you will find UV safety Glogger that absorbs 99.9% of all UV up to 385 nm.
Visor: to take extra caution, use a UV block visor.
Gloves: be sure to use gloves that protect you not only from chemicals or cut, but from UV,
and make sure that they do not fluoresce.
Apron: to protect your body in the best way, please use ad industry apron with 100% UV
block.
