INTRODUCTION
Dear client,
we would like to thank you for your purchase. You will find that you can rely on our products.
The purpose of the detailed instructions is to better acquaint you with the automatic door system of
the product line 300 so that you may make better use of it. We recommend that this manual is kept
somewhere close to the door.
4I USER MANUAL
Important safety instructions. It is important for the safety of persons to follow these
instructions. Save these instructions.
NOTE: the additional code (W) is the code for the wooden alternative of the doors.
Automatic sliding doors Doorson product line 300 must be installed in accordance with the instructions
for installation. The automatic systems of the product line 300 serve for automatization of passages. This
allows unhindered passage from the exterior into the interior area and vice versa. In this way we achieve
selectivity, automatism, modernization, aesthetic appearance and a wide range of uses.
Easier passage with the help of the automatic system offers comfort, rationalization in heating of the
premises, and for disabled persons this is the only way that allows independent passage through the door.
The system works safely even in extreme conditions, increased frequency of opening and temperature and
climatic changes. The computer-supported technology provides diverse functionality and greater reliability.
The system’s modern design has all the advantages that enable people to improve their standard of living.
Implementation of the high technology allows for many various functions of opening and closing the door.
The locks prevent unwanted intrusion and the one-way passage ensures selectivity. Partial opening of the
door saves energy during low temperatures. The various uses of the sensors provide free passage, while
safety is ensured by sensors for presence and special and spot sensors. The program’s flexibility allows
adjustment of the desired speed and time of open doors.
With a high degree of innovation and knowledge we are constantly developing new products and our goal
this time was to develop energy-saving automatic sliding doors product line 300 which drastically reduce
electricity costs and thus classify buildings as environmentally friendly.
Energy-efficient sliding doors DOORSON product line 300 think advanced and act green. When our doors
are in a “CLOSED” or “OPEN” operating mode for more than 9 seconds, they exclude the supply of voltage
and remain on battery support with reduced power consumption of less than 0.5W. Only certain functions
for the reactivation of the doors are carried out.
After the completion of the tests, calculations have shown that our automatic sliding doors in idle state
(stand-by mode) consume less than 0.5W of electricity. (ZAG report - Slovenian National Building and Civil
Engineering Institute, where we also received the necessary approval and certificates)
Compared to the competition in the market, automatic doors product line 300 consume 70% less electricity
and reduce CO2 emissions by 70%.
Before first use, carefully read the entire instructions and pay attention to the listed safety
recommendations! The instructions include the entire product line 300.

STOP
Automatic sliding doors product line 300 can be equipped with a battery support in case of power supply
shortage due to a power cut in the electric power network. In such a case the LED diode LED1 in the EC4
door controller switches off, the doors open and remain still in open position after the power failure. The
system automatically switches off when the battery voltage drops to a certain limit.
The system can be re-activated by holding the WAKE BUTTON on the mode selector for 1 second or
triggering the input “open once” (X7-1) on the door controller EC4. The operating mode can be changed
after the system is re-activated by the above-described procedure. The system will automatically shut
down again if the main power supply stays off-line. The battery unit can be depleted in the case that main
power supply failure lasts longer. The system automatically switches to the main power supply source
when the main power supply re-establishes. In operation mode “CLOSED” the doors will close, even if
there is no electric power network.
The battery unit can be stored or stay DISCONNECTED from door controller for a maximum of
6 months, otherwise it needs to be replaced.
If the doors are not working for more than 1 week, the batteries need to be disconnected from
door controller.

DOOR OPERATION
13 I USER MANUAL
EXIT AND ENTRANCE INTO THE BUILDING
The following exit or entrance procedures can be used if automatic sliding doors product line 300 are
installed at the entrance of a building, which is also the only entrance:
1. EXIT from the building:
a) “EXIT SUMMER” or “EXIT WINTER” operating mode: The doors will normally open
at the exit with exit sensor.
b) “LOCK” operating mode: The function “SINGLE EXIT” must be first enabled in the
system settings to allow one time exit from the building. The doors will open once
by activating the exit sensor for 120 seconds. After this time or with the activated
exit sensor, exit from the building via the sensor will no longer be possible.
2. ENTRANCE into the building in “CLOSED”, “EXIT SUMMER” or “EXIT WINTER” operating
mode:
Entry into the building with the entry sensor is not possible. Install an additional switching
mechanism (card reader or other access control) connected to the input “open once” (X7-1)
on the door controller.
The energy save system shuts down the main power supply in the operating mode »CLOSED«, »OPEN«
and »STOP« and stays on battery power supply with reduced power consumption (less than 0.5 W).
The door leaves can be manually moved if the system is not equipped with the EL5 electric lock. Push the
WAKE BUTTON to wake up the doors from the energy save mode and then change the operating mode
into the preferred position. The system will shut down automatically again if the operating mode stays in
»CLOSED«, »OPEN« and »STOP« position.
Redundancy testing, door may open!
ENERGY SAVE

DOOR OPERATION
14 I USER MANUAL
REDUNDANCY TESTING
The redundancy system prevents the doors to stay in closed position if the door control system ceases to
operate (hardware/software fault). In this case the door opens and remains open. Such functionality
prevents people from staying trapped in the room/building.
Such safety functionality is needed if the doors are installed on escape routes!
The redundancy system is tested every twelve hours in mode EXIT or AUTO. The door opens once and
closes again in the test procedure. The drive electric parts are tested in this test (door controller EC4 r,
primary motor, battery unit, secondary motor). The door opens and remains open if the redundancy test
fails.
In CLOSED and STOP operating mode redundancy system is disabled!
Remember that the room/building is not LOCKED in EXIT operating mode if the door is
equipped with the redundancy system.

FIRE SIGNAL
15 I USER MANUAL
Automatic sliding doors product line 300 can be connected to a fire central, however, the systems
300 THALES r, 300 r, 300 C r, 300 T r, 300 P r, 300 SC r, 300 A, 300 F and 300 EF MUST be connected to
the fire central if it exists. If the mode selector is not in the »CLOSED« position, the doors will OPEN when
the fire signal is triggered, except for systems 300 F and 300 EF, they will close the doors. The door
controller can be connected to the fire central via X7 contact.
THE FIRE SIGNAL HAS THE HIGHEST PRIORITY!
Door controller EC4 and fire central connection

16 I USER MANUAL
Interfering in the inside of the drive while it is still under voltage is forbidden due to danger of
physical injuries that can be caused by the moving parts in the drive area.
Electric lock EL5
The electric lock EL5 locks the door leaf/leaves. Door is locked mechanically when the red handle on the
electric lock EL5 is in the LOCK position. For unlocking the red handle on the electric lock EL5 has to be
moved to the UNLOCK position. It is possible to change the LOCK or UNLOCK position of the electric lock
EL5 manually by system failure. The electric lock EL5 can be accessed by opening the cover of the drive.
The lock can also be unlocked electrically by pressing the WAKE UP BUTTON .
ELECTRIC LOCK EL5

FIRST STARTUP
17 I USER MANUAL
The following steps must be carried out before the first start-up:
1. The power supply plug must be pulled out;
2. The sliding leaf/leaves must be half open;
3. Check if the installation is in accordance with the installation manual;
4. All the mechanical safety elements and locking elements have to be unblocked and ensure
an uninterrupted initialization;
5. Switch on the system by plugging the power supply plug into door controller EC4;
6. Connect the battery unit BU3 with connector X4 on the door controller EC4 if the door
system comprises of a battery unit;
7. Switch the mode selector to the “AUTOMATIC-SUMMER” position;
8. The sliding leaf/leaves will slowly close;
9. The system will save the position CLOSED when the doors are closed (at the damper limit
in a one leaf door or when the leaves lean against each other in double leaf doors).
10. The doors will then slowly move to an open position and the system will save the position
OPEN at the damper limit;
11. The system initialization is complete.
The cable installation for the power supply and connection to the door system may be carried
out only by a specially trained person and according to current regulations. The door
construction must be additionally grounded in the case that the automatic doors are installed
on a steel construction.
Power supply will be necessary for at least 24 hours from the first system start-up to fully
charge the battery unit BU3.
Please unplug the battery unit BU3 from door controller EC4 (X4 connector) if the doors are not
used for one week or more. The battery can be stored for a maximum of half a year
DISCONNECTED.

18 I USER MANUAL
During the building’s opening hours when the doors are in operation the sliding door must be
unbolted, so that in the case of panic conditions the doors can be wide open by force. A GREEN
button must be visible on the bolt of the sliding doors.
TYPE 300 A
When the “CLOSE” mode is selected the door will lock electrically. The sliding leaves must bolt, so that we
can block the break-out function and thus disable the options of dislocation leaves from outside.

20 I USER MANUAL
INTENDED USE OF 300 F
DOORS WITH FIRE RESISTANCE, WITHOUT BREAK-OUT FUNCTION
The 300 F projected automatic sliding fire doors for non-escape routes are designed to be installed
between the fire sectors as separating walls and should not be installed in passages with escape routes,
because in the CASE OF EMERGENCY, i.e. fire alarm actuation, network supply failure or defective
automatic door system, passing through the door is impossible. In the event of fire, the door closes
unconditionally and represents a barrier, preventing the fire to spcread from one sector to another.
INTENDED USE OF 300 EF
DOORS FOR ESCAPE ROUTES AND EMERGENCY EXITS WITH BREAK-OUT FUNCTION AND
FIRE RESISTANCE
The 300 EF projected automatic sliding fire doors for escape routes and emergency exits are designed to
be installed at the borders of fire sectors and at the passages of escape routes. Under normal conditions,
the door acts like a sliding door, whereas in case of emergency, the sliding leaves will close unconditionally
using the stored potential energy and the integrated swinging leaves will unbolt, enabling easy escape. The
swinging leaves have an integrated special equipment and fittings which provide for an emergency exit.
