IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY TO ENSURE
THE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE USE OF THIS TOOL.
■Removable battery pack (built-in 6V 4A sealed lead-acid battery).
■ON/OFF locking trigger switch prevents battery run down when not in use.
■Charge in vehicle with car charger or at home with AC adaptor (both included).
■Easy to replace halogen bulb.

DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

To charge the battery pack,it must first be removed from the torch.To release the
battery pack,squeeze the grips located on either side of the battery casing and
gently pull the battery pack from the housing.
WITH A.C.ADAPTOR:
Plug the battery charger unit into a 13amp,three pin socket and the other end into
the charging stand jack socket.Place the battery into the charger base making sure
the '+' and '-' on the battery line up with the '+' and '-' on the charger ('+' to '+','-' to'-').
Do NOT force.Ensure the battery is inserted correctly.
WITH CAR CHARGER:
Plug the battery charger unit into the vehicles' cigarette lighter socket and the other
end into the charging stand jack socket.Place the battery into the charger base
making sure the '+' and '-' on the battery line up with the '+' and '-' on the charger
('+' to '+','-' to '-' ).Do NOT force.Ensure the battery is inserted correctly.
The power indicator LED (green) and charging indicator LED (red) will illuminate,
indicating that the battery pack is charging (approximately 10-12 hours for full
charge).
The battery pack can then be removed and used to power the torch.To refit the
battery to the torch,push firmly until the battery pack locates and snaps into place.
NOTE: To avoid serious damage to the unit, do not attempt to recharge the
unit with any charging leads other than those supplied with the unit.
CHARGING
USING THE LOCKING SWITCH
If you press the trigger grip and slide the locking switch down,the spotlight will
stay ON without having to hold the trigger.
If you slide the locking switch down the trigger grip will be locked in the OFF
position and protect the spotlight from accidental use.

CAUTIONS
■Do not leave the battery pack charging for more than 2 days.
■Do not completely discharge battery before recharging.Total discharge will
decrease battery life.
■Do not short circuit the terminals of the battery pack.
■Do not attempt to disassemble battery or remove any parts projecting from
battery terminals.Before disposing,protect exposed terminals with heavy tape
to prevent shorting.(Shorting may cause fire or injury).
DO NOT EXPOSE BATTERYTO FIRE OR EXCESSIVE HEAT OR IT MAY
EXPLODE.
■Never look directly into lens.
■Lens may become hot.
■The adaptor may get warm when charging the light (this is normal).Charge in
an area out of reach of children.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
The lead-acid battery in this spotlight has a normal life of many years.When the
battery expires,it should be removed from lamp for recycling.
Please contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
WARNING
BATTERY MUST BE CHARGED FOR 12-14 HOURS PRIOR TO FIRST USE.
CAUTION:
This unit has a sealed lead acid battery that should be kept at full charge.Recharge
when first received,immediately after each use,and every three months if not
used.Immediately charge when the unit has been incorrectly overdischarged.Do
not operate the unit while charging.Failure to do this may cause the battery life to
be reduced greatly.

HALOGEN BULB
1. Release the battery pack.
2. Remove the cover plate from back of the spotlight.
3. Remove the wire spring and pull out the old bulb.
4. Insert the new bulb and re-insert the wire spring.
5. Replace the cover plate and reconnect the battery pack.
