USAGE OF ELECTRIC STORAGE WATER HEATER (ESWH)
OPERATION OF ESWH
1) Check that the ESWH is full of water. For this, it is sufficient to open the hot water tap and see that water is flowing.
2) Turn on the V-Automation switch.
3) Turn on the ON/OFF switch on the control panel. You shall see that the light on the switch is on.
4) Select the temperature level as you wish by turning the thermostat switch in clockwise direction. The heating resistance
shall be on and the warning lamp on the switch shall be lighted.
5) When the water temperature has reached at the temperature level, which you set by the thermostat switch before, the
warning lamp shall be off. The thermostat keeps the temperature of water stable at this level.
6) By turning the thermostat switch in clockwise direction, you can make adjustment for higher temperature values, and by
turning the thermostat switch in the contrary direction, you can make adjustment for lower temperature values.

INSTALLATION CONNECTION CONTROL PANEL
The inlet and outlet pipes for water in
your heater are of R 1/2".
Cold Water Inlet: Connect the blue
pipe to the cold water installation
after assembling the security valve.
Hot Water Inlet: Connect the red pipe
to the hot water installation.
It must be ensured that the pipe
connections do not leak water.
ON/OFF SWITCH
With the ON/OFF switch on the control panel, you can turn on and turn off
the ESWH and when you see the light on the switch is on, you can
understand that the heating circuit is ready to operate.
WARNING LAMP
The warning lamp on the thermostat switch lights when the heating resistance
is on. When this lamb is off, it shows that the water in the boiler has reached
at the temperature level, which was set by the thermostat switch.
THERMOSTAT SWITCH
With the thermostat switch, you can adjust the temperature of water at the
level as you wish and keep it stable on that level.
THERMOMETER
The thermometer on the control panel enables you to see the temperature of
water in the boiler.

ELECTRIC CONNECTION / GUARANTEE AND DELIVERY SERVICE / DIMENSIONS
The operation voltage of the ESWH is 230
Volt.In the parts, in which the line voltage
is 110 volt, it is necessary to place a
transformer with the values of 110/230
Volt and 3000 Watt.
Change the circuit breaker in your house
with that of 16 ampere.
V-Automation, which was delivered with
the water heater, shall be connected to
the electric circuit.This connection shall
absolutely be grounded.
If it is used without grounding, our
company shall not be responsible for the
problems that shall arise.
The list including the address of our
authorized services has been delivered
separately.
1) The electric power feeders should be turned off, when there is an operation on the
ESWH.
2) Do not operate the ESWH before making sure that it is totally full of water.If the
water is flowing from the hot water tap, it means that the ESWH is full of water.
3) In the parts, in which the circuit pressure is more than 8 bars, E.C.A.WATER PRESSURE
REGULATOR shall be connected to the cold water inlet before the security valve has
been connected.
4) The security valve was adjusted in the factory,do not adjust it pressure again.
5) The power feeder cable is damaged,it should be changed by the manufacturing
company or the authorized service or by an equally qualified person.
6) The magnesium anode, which has been used in order to protect the storage of the
device against corrosion, shall be controlled by the authorized services every 2 years,
and should be replaced with a new one,if necessary.
On the condition that the instructions
and warnings, which are stated in the
manual of montage, usage and
maintenance, are complied with, E.C.A.
Electric ESWH shall have the service
guarantee of E.C.A. for 3 years against
all kinds of failures, which might arise
because of material and craftsmanship.
If the ESWH is used with limewater of
high values,the intra part of the boiler
might be damaged as the resistance
and the anode shall become calcareous.
Also,if the anode is exhausted, it might
affect the protection of the boiler.In
order to prevent these problems,have
the anode and resistance maintenance
done every year regularly by the
authorized services.
The maintenance of magnesium anode
or changing it with the new one are not
included in the guarantee.
This E.C.A. product does not need any
repair in normal usage conditions. But if
you shall need help about anything,the
customer relations organization is
ready to help you anytime.
The security valve shall leak water, when
the water pressure in your installation is
more than 8 bars.This is not an
indication of failure.If the water pressure
in your installation is always more than 8
bars, E.C.A. WATER PRESSURE
REGULATOR shall be connected to the
cold water inlet.

SECURITY THERMOSTAT
The security thermostat is connected
to the electric circuit. If the water
temperature rises excessively, certain
security is ensured by turning off the
heating resistance.
SECURITY VALVE
The security is mounted at the cold water
inlet and has two different functions.
1) During water cuts, it shall act as a non-re-
turn valve and keep the water in the boiler.
2) If the internal pressure of the boiler rises,
it balances the internal pressure with the
water which the valve makes flow from the
water-push nozzle.
The following conditions shall be taken into
account while mounting and using the
security valve.
1) As the water might leak from the
discharge pipe, this pipe shall be left open
to the atmosphere. You can provide that the
water is discharged with a pipe, so that the
leaking water shall not damage to the
environment.
2) In order to prevent lime accumulation
and make ensure that it is not blocked, it
shall be started at intervals.
3) Pay attention that when you connect the
security valve to the ESWH, the discharge
pipe is downward. Mount the ESWH to the
environment, in which there is not a danger
of freezing.
ECONOMIC HEAT ISOLATION
With the polyurethane isolation sheet
between the outer body and the boiler of the
ESWH, it has been ensured that the water
gets warmer promptly, and gets cooler for a
long time.
PRODUCTION QUALITY
RESISTANCE TO WATER PRESSURE
The water boiler was exposed to the
test under 12 bars by taking into
account the city water circuit pressure.
MONTAGE OF THE ESWH ON THE WALL
Open 4 pieces of holes of 12 mm.
diameter and sufficient depth for the
dowels, with the sizes as shown on
the picture, on the wall, on which the
ESWH shall be mounted.
Place the dowels and later the
hangers into the holes.
Complete the montage transaction by
placing the hang holes on the body of
the ESWH to the hangers.
Perform the installation connection of
the ESWH with the flexible hoses,
which were delivered with the device,
do not use the old connection hoses
in the installation.
It is appropriate to the EEE regulations.
RESISTANCE TO CORROSION
It is a single piece of enamel. As the
ESWH internal boiler, including the
water inlet/outlet pipes, was enameled
after all of its parts were welded, a total
warranty against corrosion has been
ensured. The outer surfaces have been
painted with the epoxy electrostatic
powder paint, which is protective against
corrosion, and the heating resistance has
been protected against corrosion by using
magnesium anode. The necessary spare
parts holding time is 10 years, so that the
device shall perform its usage and functions.
EASE OF USE
The use of E.C.A. ESWH is easy and
comfortable. By using the ESWH as
explained in this user manual, water
heating transaction shall be very
practical and secure.
Unless inspection and surveillance
have not been provided by a
responsible person for the use of the
device, the device should not be used
by physically, mentally handicapped
people (including children) or by the
people with lack of experience and
information.
The children shall be kept under
surveillance in order to ensure that they
are not playing with the device.

E.C.A. T-221 S model differs from T-221 L model in that in the standard ESWH there is not an ON/OFF switch.

E.C.A ESWH is a modern and easy water
heater and has these properties which
ensure the traditional E.C.A. quality.
SECURITY OF USE
ON/OFF SWITCH
The switch on the control panel is of dual
circuit braking system.When it is off,
additional security is provided as both the
phase and the neutral circuit leave the
network.
V-AUTOMATION SWITCH
V-Automation switch has undertaken the
assignment of circuit breaker. In case of
electrical leakage or when it is off, it cuts
the connection of the ESWH with the
electric network.
SECURITY
It has been manufactured in compliance
with the related Turkish standard "TS 2212
EN 60335-2-21.
The lifetime,which has been determined by
the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, is
10 years.
