DB01 Operation Guide

Ⅰ: DB01 parameters
•Model: DB01
•Communication method: BLE 5.0
•Recording capacity: 4MB. About 100,000 groups of data can be
recorded.
•Broadcasting interval: 1000ms (can be modified, recommended
not to exceed 5000ms)
•Storage interval: 5 minutes (can be modified, 30s~1 hour)
•Broadcast power: +8dbm (can be modified, -8~+8dbm, the greater
the power leads to the greater the power consumption).
•Broadcasting range: The maximum open area can reach 500
meters.
•Temperature range: -20℃~60℃
•Humidity measurement range: 0%RH~100%RH
•Storage conditions: +5 C ~ +35 C, 45%RH~85%RH
•Measurement accuracy: 0.2℃(0℃~60℃), 0.5℃(other)
2%RH(20RH~80%RH), 3%RH(other)
•Light perception: photoresistor. 0mv~3V
•Gravity sensor: support vibration alarm, tilt alarm.

•Data communication: Connect to a computer via APP or
USB to obtain historical data of the recorder. APP
synchronization can be uploaded to the cloud.

and the indicator light flashes

Note:
•The battery life of the device is closely related to the
device power, collection interval, storage interval, screen
status, alarm status, data transmission times, and
ambient temperature and humidity.
•Used for about 30 days under the condition that the
screen is always on, the alarm indicator keeps flashing,
store data every 5 minutes.
•Used about 2 years under the condition that the screen is
off, collect/store data every 5 minutes.

Ⅱ: Menu Functions
The menu interface has 4 pages: main menu, maximum/minimum menu, alarm upper and lower limit menu, historical data curve;
•Main menu: The main menu displays the current working status of the device which includes alarm information, current temperature,
current humidity, average temperature, average humidity, number of records, and battery power.

The maximum value of temperature and humidity
from the start record to the current time
MIN:
The minimum value of temperature and humidity
from the start record to the current time
No Maximum and minimum value when device is
not started.
•Upper and lower limit menu：Set the upper and lower limits of the temperature and humidity alarm of the device
through APP. When it exceeds the set range, the indicator will flash quickly.
↑The up arrow indicates the upper limit. The alarm will be triggered
immediately if the upper limit is exceeded.
↓The down arrow indicates the lower limit.The alarm will be
triggered immediately if the lower limit is exceeded
The alarm recovery period is 3 minutes.

•Historical Data Curve

1）The screen can only display the temperature history curve
of the latest 120pcs data.
2）The upper left corner shows the upper limits of the temperature.
The lower left corner shows the lower limits of the temperature.
3）The upper right corner is the date.The lower right corner is the time.

Indicator:
The battery level is displayed on the screen：
Screen Status：
1.After being lighted for 5 seconds by default, the screen goes
to sleep again.
•When the Bluetooth status changes, the screen will light up.
•Tap the button and the screen will light up.
When device start, long press the left
button, the indicator light flashes once
to indicate successful mark.
Please replace the battery in time when the
battery voltage is lower than 2800mV.
2.The screen is always on:
•Not recommend to use this mode because it
consumes a lot of power.

Ⅳ:USB tool introduction

Connect the device with the computer via USB. Use the E2L USB HID reading tool to obtain the cached data in the device. The tool
language changes with the computer system language.
First, Run E2L USB HID setup.exe,Install the reading tool.
After the software is installed, an icon will be generated on the desktop.
Double-click to open the software.

•Export data
Open the E2L USB HID data management system and plug the device directly into the USB port of the computer. Click "Connect
Device". Select the query period or directly click QueryAll to import the historical data
The queried data can be viewed in the form of a table/curve to
view the historical data of temperature and humidity.
Table page: Present temperature and humidity historical data in
the form of a list.
Curve page: Presents historical temperature and humidity data.
Alarm page: Covers the light perception, vibration, and tilt
alarms during the period.
Marker page: the time stamp covering the period.
Click Export, you can save it locally on your computer in
PDF/CSV format.

•Device Parameters
Click the device parameters to know the configuration of the device.
Current time: the device time when the device
parameter is clicked.
Temperature and humidity information: The
device's temperature and humidity alarm
conditions, Exceed the upper limit or lower
limit to trigger the alarm.
In subsequent versions, you can configure the
configurable items of the device on this
interface.

Download Keelin-BeaconApp through the following QR code or search and download throughAPPStore
•Turn on the phone's Bluetooth and run the Keelin-
Beacon APP.
•The APP automatically scans the surrounding
Bluetooth devices. (Pay attention to turn on the
mobile phone Bluetooth and GPS)
•From the scanned device list, you can view the
Bluetooth data broadcast by the current device.
•Click the star mark in front of the device list to mark
the device.
•Click ">" behind the device list to connect to the
device.Obtain device historical data and modify
device parameters.

•Get device historical data
1) After the connection is successful,
click Sync Data.
2) Select the period for which historical
data needs to be obtained.
3) Click Query, you can get the data of
that period from the device to the
mobile phone.
4) Load the latest data that does not
exceed 8600 by default. Select the start
time and end time, you can view and
export the data for that period.
5) Export data
Enter the correct password within 30 seconds and click OK to proceed to the next step.
Password is keelin by default.

Export data: Select the file format, you can
export it to the file management in PDF/XLS
format, which is convenient for exporting and
viewing.
The Android version files are stored in: phone
management/BleExcel/device MAC address
folder.
IOS version, sent by way of sharing.

•Modify device parameters
1) Alarms setting:
Temperature alarm, Humidity alarm, Light sensor alarm, Tilt alarm, Vibration alarm.
2) Basic parameters:
Broadcast interval, Collection interval, Storage interval, Broadcast power, Time zone.
3) Password device:
Remove password, Change password;
4) OTA
Air upgrade
5) General settings:
Edit the device name, Keep status of “screen on”, synchronize the time, restart the device,
clear the record, close the broadcast.
6）Channel Settings：
URL/UID/TLM Eddystone channel setting. And iBeacon channel setting.

•Alarms Settings
Light alarm
Levels of Light sensor
sensitivity: high,medium,low.
High sensitivity:
little light will trigger device to
generate an alarm;
Low ensitivity:
Bright light will trigger device
to generate an alarm
Vibration alarm
Vibration level: sensitive,
ordinary, moderate, severe.
Sensitive level Slight vibration.

•Basic Parameters setting
1) Broadcast interval
The shorter the broadcast interval, the easier to scan the device, the greater is power
consumption.
2) Collection interval
The shorter the collection interval, the more frequently the broadcast data is updated, the
greater power consumption.
3) Storage interval
The frequency that the device stores data to the memory. The more frequent to store data,
the greater power consumption.
4) Broadcast power
-8 ~ 8dBm. The greater the power, the wider the broadcast range, the greater power
consumption.
5) Time zone
The time shown on the device screen. It relateds with the time zone.

•Password setting
Device password is keelin by default.
The length of password is no more than 8 digits which include both numbers and letters.

•General settings
1) Edit device name
The length of Name cannot exceed 16 bytes. A Chinese character occupy 6 bytes. A letter
and number occupy 2 bytes.
After modifying the device name, the device needs to be restarted to take effect.
2) The screen is always on
Turn on the screen on switch, the screen is always on. It consumes more power. Not
recommend to keep screen on always .
3) Synchronize time
Synchronize the time of the device with the time of the mobile phone.
4) Restart the device
5) Clear records
After clearing the device, the cached data in the device will be cleared.
Please use it with caution.
6) Turn off the broadcast
After turning off the broadcast, the mobile phone cannot scan the device. You need to
press and hold the start and stop buttons of the device to restart the broadcast.

•Channel settings
Eddystone defines many Frame Types, that allows Beacon to send many different types
of information.
The current three types are defined as follows:
