MUSICA C101 preamplifier

The C101 is substantially the evolution of the preamplifier HP01.
In C101 the circuit of signal amplification is entrusted darlington
transistor technology in configuration DPFETM (Darlington Parallel
Follow Emitter) operating in pure Class A.
The new stadiums input and output HDCA guarantee wide flat
frequency response with high slew / rate and high crest factor.
improvements on the dynamics of reproduction and micro- contrast
are to unprecedented levels.
The volume control is provided by the digital potentiometer PGA2310
Burr Brown who is currently the best potentiometer in high-end
market.
The power transformer is encapsulated with resin and thus
eliminating any possible variation of the original audio signal which
would become dirty through electromagnetic fields.
The main power capacitors are designed on our tight specifications.
They have a very high temperature coefficient and aluminum armor.
Together with the resistors in the metal film 1% tolerance and the
decoupling capacitors in polypropylene audiograde we obtained
results certainly real.,

1. For best performance, please read
this manual carefully. Keep it in a safe
place for future reference.
2. Install the unit in a cool, dry, clean
place away from windows, heat
sources, intense vibration, dust,
humidity, cold, and sources of
humming (transformers, motors,
etc.).. To prevent fire or shock hazard
do not expose the unit to water and
moisture.
3. Never open the equipment. If
something should get into all 'inside,
contact your dealer.
4. Do not operate the switches and
other controls with force. When
moving the unit, first disconnect the
power cord and cables connected to
other devices. Never pull the wires
themselves.
5. The voltage used must be
specified.
Using this product with a current
whose voltage is higher than
specified is dangerous and may cause
fire or other damage. EAM LAB is not
responsible for any damage due to an
incorrect use of the appliance
6. Always set the VOLUME control to
min. before starting playback of the
audio source. Gradually increase the
volume to an appropriate level after
playback has started.
7. Do not clean the unit with
chemical solvents: this could ruin the
finish. Instead, use a soft, dry cloth or
denatured alcohol.
8. In case of malfunction, before
concluding that the unit needs to be
repaired, consult the chapter on
"TROUBLESHOOTING".
9. If you are not using the unit for
long periods of time (eg for a
vacation), disconnect the power plug
10. During thunderstorms,
disconnect the power cord to avoid
any lightning damage the unit.
11. Grounding or Polarization: take
the necessary precautions to ensure
that the grounding or polarization are
not canceled.

Replacing Batteries
If the remote control only works
when it is near the unit, the
batteries are weak. Replace the
batteries with new ones.

Use remote control
The remote control transmits a
directional infrared beam. During
operation, be sure to point the
remote directly at the infrared
sensor.
When the sensor is covered or there
is a large object between the remote
control and the sensor, the sensor is
not receiving the signals. The sensor
may not be able to receive signals
properly when it is exposed to direct
sunlight or strong artificial light (such
as a fluorescent light or a flashing).
In this case, change the direction of
light or reposition the unit to avoid
direct lighting.
Note
• Handle the remote control
carefully.
• Do not spill water or other liquids
on the remote control.
• Do not drop the remote control.
• Do not leave or put away the
remote control in the following
conditions: - High humidity or
temperature such as near a heater, a
stove or a bathroom; _ Dusty; -

Il C101 è sostanzialmente l'evoluzione del preamplificatore HP01.
In C101 il circuito di amplificazione del segnale è affidato alla tecnologia a
transistor darlington nella configurazione DPFETM (Darlington Parallel
Follow Emitter) che opera in pura Classe A.
I nuovi stadi di input e output HDCA garantiscono un'ampia risposta in
frequenza piatta con alta velocità di rotazione e fattore di cresta elevata. i
miglioramenti delle dinamiche di riproduzione e micro-contrasto sono a
livelli senza precedenti.
Il controllo del volume è fornito dal potenziometro digitale PGA2310 Burr
Brown che è attualmente il miglior potenziometro nel mercato di fascia
alta.
Il trasformatore di potenza è incapsulato con resina e quindi elimina ogni
possibile variazione del segnale audio originale che si sporcherebbe
attraverso i campi elettromagnetici.
I principali condensatori di potenza sono progettati secondo le nostre
specifiche severe. Hanno un coefficiente di temperatura molto alto e
armature di alluminio. Insieme ai resistori nel film metallico tolleranza 1% e
i condensatori di disaccoppiamento in polipropilene audiograde abbiamo
ottenuto risultati sicuramente reali.

Prima di iniziare a utilizzare leggi le seguenti
informazioni
Informazioni sulla sicurezza
1. Per ottenere prestazioni ottimali,
leggere attentamente questo
manuale. Conservalo in un luogo
sicuro per riferimenti futuri.
2. Installare l'unità in un luogo
fresco, asciutto e pulito lontano da
finestre, fonti di calore, vibrazioni
intense, polvere, umidità, freddo e
fonti di ronzio (trasformatori, motori,
ecc.). Per prevenire il rischio di
incendi o scosse elettriche non
esporre l'unità all'acqua e all'umidità.
3. Non aprire mai l'apparecchiatura.
Se qualcosa dovesse entrare dentro,
contatta il tuo rivenditore.
4. Non utilizzare gli interruttori e gli
altri comandi con forza. Quando si
sposta l'unità, innanzitutto scollegare
il cavo di alimentazione e i cavi
collegati ad altri dispositivi. Non
tirare mai i fili stessi.
5. La tensione utilizzata deve essere
specificata.
L'uso di questo prodotto con una
corrente la cui tensione è superiore a
quella specificata è pericoloso e può
causare incendi o altri danni. EAM
6. Impostare sempre il controllo
VOLUME su min. prima di avviare la
riproduzione della sorgente audio.
Aumentare gradualmente il volume a
un livello appropriato dopo l'avvio
della riproduzione.
7. Non pulire l'unità con solventi
chimici: ciò potrebbe rovinare la
finitura. Utilizzare invece un panno
morbido e asciutto o alcool
denaturato.
8. In caso di malfunzionamento,
prima di concludere che l'unità deve
essere riparata, consultare il capitolo
"RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI".
9. Se non si utilizza l'unità per lunghi
periodi di tempo (ad esempio per una
vacanza), scollegare la spina di
alimentazione
10. Durante i temporali, scollegare il
cavo di alimentazione per evitare che
il fulmine danneggi l'unità.
11. Messa a terra o polarizzazione:
adottare le necessarie precauzioni
per garantire che la messa a terra o la
polarizzazione non vengano
annullate.

Apertura della confezione:
Rimuovere con cautela dalla
confezione l'amplificatore e
conservare il cartone originale e il
materiale di imballaggio per viaggi,
spedizioni o conservazione a lungo
termine
Prima dell'installazione:
rimuovere l'amplificatore, avendo
cura di mantenerlo in futuro se si
richiede di essere spedito a un
centro di assistenza EAMLAB per
essere revisionato o riparato.
Contenuto del pacco:
Verificare che i seguenti acessori
siano inclusi nel pacchetto:
telecomando, cavo di alimentazione
e questo manuale.
Sostituzione delle batterie
Se il telecomando funziona solo
quando è vicino all'unità, le batterie
sono deboli. Sostituire le batterie
con quelle nuove.
Nota:
• Per la sostituzione utilizzare solo
batterie modello CR3020.
• Assicurarsi che la polarità sia
corretta
• Per sostituire la batteria,
rimuovere le 4 viti sul lato inferiore
e lasciare la scheda elettronica. la
batteria è sul fondo del circuito
stampato
Utilizzare il telecomando
Il telecomando trasmette un raggio
infrarosso direzionale. Durante il
funzionamento, assicurarsi di
puntare il telecomando direttamente
sul sensore a infrarossi. Quando il
sensore è coperto o c'è un oggetto di
grandi dimensioni tra il telecomando
e il sensore, il sensore non riceve i
segnali. Il sensore potrebbe non
essere in grado di ricevere
correttamente i segnali quando è
esposto alla luce diretta del sole o ad
una forte luce artificiale (come una
luce fluorescente o un
lampeggiamento).
In questo caso, cambiare la direzione
della luce o riposizionare l'unità per
evitare l'illuminazione diretta.
Nota
•Maneggiare il telecomando con
cura.
• Non versare acqua o altri liquidi sul
telecomando.
•Non lasciare cadere il telecomando.
•Non lasciare o riporre il
telecomando nelle seguenti
condizioni: - Umidità o temperatura
elevate, ad esempio vicino a
caloriferi, fornelli o bagni; _ Dusty; -
Esporre a temperature molto basse o
molto alte.

Funzione di controllo remoto
• Impostare il pulsante - per sottomenu
dipaly sul bilanciamento del comando e
sul funzionamento mono / stereo
• Pwr - attiva / disattiva il
preamplificatore
• DSP - stesso pulsante di impostazione
• V + aumenta il volume
• V - diminuisce il volume
• Disattiva audio - segnale di
disattivazione
• Ingresso CH + / Ch-select
Nel menu principale utilizzare il pulsante:
• CH + / CH- per cambiare la fonte d'ingresso,
• Tasto V + / V- per aumentare o diminuire il volume
• Pulsante Mute per silenziare i segnali di uscita
• Pwr per accendere o spegnere il preamplificatore

Per il menu principale utilizzare DSP o il pulsante SET per
accedere a questo menu. Quando all'interno di questo menu,
scegli il pulsante:
• Disattiva audio per cambiare il funzionamento MONO /
STEREO
• V + / V- per cambiare il bilanciamento del guadagno sinistro
/ destro
• DSP o Set per tornare al menu principale
