Control Buttons & Operations
Power On / Off
Use the Power Switch,
located on the bottom of the
unit to turn the EcoBike on
and off.
Bluetooth
When turned ON, the
EcoBike will search for your
Bluetooth device. Refer to
Set Up Recommendations
1-2-3.
Speaker Volume
PRESS & HOLD V- to
decrease or V+ to increase
speaker volume.
NOTE: Some Bluetooth
devices may require to be
manually set for maximum
audio level.
Your EcoBike speaker will
beep to indicate when
minimum or maximum
volume setting is reached.
Track Selection
Press button once to select
previous song track or
next song track .
Answer Phone Calls
When receiving an incoming
phone call, press once to
answer. Press button again to
hang up. You can also PRESS
AND HOLD to reject an
incoming call.
NOTE: Since the integrated
Speakerphone Mic is located
under the Splashproof Cap,
the cap must remain open
while using the speakerphone
function. The unit will not be
splashproof with the cap off.
Flashlight
Press to cycle through
three Flashlight Modes: Solid,
Flashing, Off.
Battery Level Indicators
There are four LED Battery
Level Indicators located
below the Control Buttons.
Each LED represents 25%
of a charge. Four full LEDs
indicate a full charge.
Refer to Set Up
Recommendations 1-2-3 for
additional details.

Micro USB Input
Connect the USB cable to the
5V USB-C Input to charge
your EcoBike.
RECOMMENDATION: Use
the USB cable and power
adapter included in the box.
NOTE: Charge time
from low to full charge is
approximately 6 hours.
While playing audio, EcoBike
can be charged.
CAUTION: Do NOT charge if
unit and/or connections are
wet or damp.

personal device. Use the

USB cable included with your
personal device.
NOTE: Charging rates are
similar to the charging rate
when connected to the USB
of a desktop PC.
Charge time is approximately
3 hours from low to full
for most Smartphones;
however, charge times will
vary depending on the device
being charged, the device’s
battery specifications, and the
device features.
In some instances your
personal device may not
indicate if charge is in process.
RECOMMENDATION: Charge
your EcoBike at least once a
month to prolong battery life.

Important: Maintaining Splashproofness
Your EcoBike is splashproof when the caps are properly
closed. In order to properly close the caps, push firmly to
be sure the caps fit flat and flush along the edges with
the panel.

Audio AUX-IN
Connect an audio device
using the 3.5mm cable
connection as an alternative
to a Bluetooth connection to
your EcoBike.
NOTE: Volume level must
be controlled from the audio
device when connected to
the AUX-IN connection.
USB Input
You can also connect a USB
thumb drive, that has been
loaded with music, to the
USB port to play music.
TF Card
Place a TF card (Micro SD)
inside the slot on the side of
the unit to play music.
Gently press the TF card
(Micro SD) to remove it.

Charge Your EcoBike Prior to First Use
For best performance, fully charge your EcoBike
before use. Connect the Micro USB port to the USB
cable and a 5V power source. Charge the unit until all
four Battery Level Indicators are green, indicating a full
charge.
Approximately 6 hours of charging is required from a low
to a full charge.
Power source options include the USB connection to
your computer or a power outlet using a 5V USB to AC
power adapter. It is recommended to always use the
USB cable included with your EcoBike.
Power On, Battery, & LED Status Indicators
Once fully charged, press the Power Switch on the
bottom of your EcoBike. You will hear, “Speaker on, ready
to connect” when powering on.
The LED Battery Level Indicators are located below the
Control Buttons. Each LED represents 25% of a charge,
with 4 full LEDs indicating a full charge.
Audio playback time is approximately 30 hours at
75% volume.
Bluetooth Pairing & Your Audio
Connecting With Bluetooth:
Connect To Your Smart Device & Play Audio
When your EcoBike is turned on, your speaker will
announce, "Bluetooth activated," indicating the unit is
ready to pair.
Turn on Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device (Smart
Device) and set the device in pairing mode. Available
Bluetooth connections shall appear. Select the
ECOXGEAR speaker from the list of discovered devices

on your Bluetooth device. Wait for a few seconds until the
connection is completed.
NOTE: Bluetooth connection feature is found in the
Settings section of most mobile phones and other
Bluetooth enabled devices.
When the ECOXGEAR selection is made and the Bluetooth
connection is completed, your EcoBike will announce:
“Connected to Bluetooth.”
Once connected, select and play your desired audio.
NOTE: Your EcoBike shall sync & wirelessly pair with most
Bluetooth enabled devices. The unit remembers the last
device paired and will automatically search for previous
connections when the speaker is turned on or when a device
comes back into Bluetooth range. If a connection is lost due
to range, the speaker will look to re-establish that connection.
If Bluetooth is turned off on your Smart Device, the EcoBike
may not automatically look for the device.
RECOMMENDATION: If you are not familiar with Bluetooth
pairing for your Smartphone or other Smart Device, refer to
the User Guide for your Smartphone to learn how to add and
pair a new device (EcoBike for instance) to your Smartphone
using Bluetooth.
Bluetooth Pairing & Connections: Once paired, should you
have an issue switching between Bluetooth connections
between devices, open the Bluetooth Section within the
device currently connected to the EcoBike and delete the
Bluetooth connection. The EcoBike will then be available to
pair & connect to an alternate Bluetooth enabled Smartphone
/ Audio Device.

2. Open the 2 Clamps on the
Mounting Bracket of your
EcoBike by turning the
bolts counterclockwise (to
the left).
3. Once open, connect
the Clamps around the
desired location on your
handlebars on your bicycle
and close the Clamps by
turning the bolts clockwise
(to the right).

Connect the EcoBike To
the Mounting Bracket
1. Turn the Clasp on the
front of the mount so
that it is horizontal.
2. Orient the EcoBike
toward the front of your
handlebars and angled
downwards, before
connecting the EcoBike to
the Mounting Bracket.
3. Align the Round and
Square Pegs on the
Mounting Bracket to the
Round and square slots on
the bottom of the EcoBike.
4. Once aligned, apply slight
pressure to connect the
EcoBike to the Mounting
Bracket connection points
and pull the unit backward
to secure in place.
5. Once connected, turn the
Clasp so that it is vertical
and holds the EcoBike
securely in place.

Fastening Your Phone
1. Pull the Clip Arms out and
place your smartphone flat
on the pad.
2. Confirm that smartphone
is held firmly in place.
NOTE: The width range of the
Clip Arms is 50-90 mm.
IMPORTANT: Some devices
and device cases may be
oversized and may require
an additional strap to ensure
the device is securely held in
place for the given terrain and
/ or speed that you may ride
your bicycle.

PRODUCT USE AND PROTECTION:

The EcoBike Bluetooth speaker is intended to be used indoors or outdoors. The speaker has
been tested to IP54 splashproofing standards.
Always make sure the cap(s) / covers(s) are clean, free from sand or debris, and correctly
fitted. The speaker will only meet IP54 ratings if all rubber seals, gasket(s), and cover(s) /
cap(s) are in place.
The USB cables and unit with an improperly secured caps are NOT splashproof.
To prevent fire or shock, do NOT attempt to charge this unit if it is damp.
SAFETY ADVISORY & WARNING:
Read and follow all instructions. Use only as intended.
CAUTION: Do NOT open to repair. A qualified technician must carry out repair work.
ATTENTION: Do NOT charge while the unit is wet. Towel dry the unit AND make sure all
connections are dry BEFORE plugging in the charging connector. Failure to do
so may result in electrical damage to the unit and may void the warranty.

a certified recycling agent to dispose of the unit.
SAFETY:
This product has a limited life span of use and should be replaced when it shows obvious signs
of wear.
Do not modify or remove any original component parts of the speaker. Doing so could cause
damage to the unit allowing water to ingress. A unit with water ingress should not be charged due
to potential risk of fire or shock.
Do not attempt to mount the unit except with the approved ECOXGEAR mounts. Doing so
could cause damage to the unit allowing water to ingress. A unit with water ingress should not be

Please exercise care and good judgment when using your EcoBike speaker. Audio levels should
be appropriate to your environment, comply with all local regulations, and always ensure that you
can hear and be aware of any potential hazards around you.
You should always
1) Read and follow all instructions in the manual.
2) Use the proper ECOXGEAR mounts to mount the unit.
3) Use the EcoBike speaker in accordance with any music or noise rules and regulations.
4) Properly seal the EcoBike prior and after each use when in humid environments to avoid
water damage to the internal components. Salt water / air is particularly corrosive. Always
make sure that the gaskets are sealed.
5) Properly clean the EcoBike and ensure the gaskets have no sand, dirt, or water on them
prior to storage or removing the covers. Ensure housing seal is clean and not damaged
prior to each use.
6) Store your unit with all caps properly sealed to avoid long term internal moisture damage
inside your unit.
7) Completely dry and clean your EcoBike prior to attempting to charge the unit.
8) Return the EcoBike to ECOXGEAR if you suspect water ingress into the unit or if the
unit has experienced a severe impact that may have affected the integrity of the unit to
take on water.
You should NEVER
1) NEVER charge your EcoBike if you suspect water has entered the device. Charging a
device with water inside could be potentially hazardous and cause fire or a spark.
2) NEVER use your EcoBike if you have dropped it or thrown it against a hard surface
which may have destroyed the integrity of the speakers, housings, or gaskets. In the
event of a severe impact to your unit please return the unit to ECOXGEAR to review for
potential damage.
3) NEVER use if cracks, deformation, or other damage is observed.
4) NEVER open the caps in a damp environment. This could cause water to ingress into the unit
which could potentially be hazardous and cause a fire or a spark.
5) NEVER connect a device to the auxiliary input jack when in a damp environment. The
auxiliary jack should only be used in a dry environment.
6) NEVER submerge the product in water.

7) NEVER attempt to fix, repair your EcoBike unit. Please send it back to ECOXGEAR for
any assessments and repairs.
CARE, MAINTENANCE, & PRECAUTIONS:
1) The unit is not splashproof unless the unit is closed and both caps are properly in the
closed and locked position.
2) Close the caps properly before use. If the unit is used in damp without the caps properly
closed, water may enter into the unit and void your warranty.
3) Dry unit completely before opening the caps. Do NOT open the caps if wet or in a
damp environment.
4) Do NOT apply excessive force to any surfaces of the unit.
5) Do NOT use or store the unit in places with high temperature.
6) AVOID prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UV sunlight) and strong magnetic fields.
7) Periodically check the rubber seal for premature wear.
8) Periodically clean the rubber with a soft moist cloth and ensure no objects such as dirt, hair, or
sand are on the caps. Do NOT use any oily solvent or chemicals for cleaning.
9) Power and / or charge the built-in rechargeable battery for portable use by connecting the
USB cord to a computer USB connection or to an AC outlet using the AC-to-USB cord 5V, 1A
power adapter intended for use with the unit.
10) Noise and audio distortion may occur when the batteries are nearing end of charge.
11) Do NOT remove the built-in battery. Do NOT remove the grill covers.

LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY:
The EcoBike is covered by a 1-year limited warranty that covers defects in workmanship
and / or materials for a period of 1 year from original purchase date. This warranty does not apply
to any products which have been abused, neglected, modified, or used for a purpose other than
the one for which they were manufactured. Please refer to the above care and maintenance
instructions for suggested care details. The warranty is valid only for the original owner who
purchases the unit from an authorized dealer. Transfers do not qualify for warranty protection.
ECOXGEAR reserves the right to replace any out-of-stock or discontinued product with a
comparable product. Discontinued products may not be available for warranty replacement. Any
contents are NOT covered by the limited manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty applies only to the product purchased from ECOXGEAR. The warranty does not apply to
any non-company product. The warranty applies only to normal use of the product. The warranty
does not apply to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, force majeure, or modification of
the product.
