responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection
systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased.They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
Power warning:
* Place the product near the power outlet for easy use.
* Before use,make sure that the operating voltage is the same as your local power supply.Correct operating voltage can be found on
the product plate.
* For safety purpose,unplug the product during lightning storms or when unused for extended periods oftime.
* Under normal conditions,the power supply may get hot. Please keep good ventilation in the area and exercise caution.
* Safety warning labels on the housing or bottom ofthe product or power adaptor.

This symbol is to warn the user not to disassemble the enclosure ofthe product and there is no user-replaceable part inside.
Take the product to an authorized service center for repair.
This symbol indicates that the product is a CLASS II or double insulated electrical device with no earth requirement.
* Please read the instructions carefully. Keep it in safe place for future reference.
* Use only accessories approved by the manufacturer.
* Install the instrument properly by following the instructions in the device connection section.
* Using the product in a 0-35°C environment is recommended.
* To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock,do not expose the product to rain or moisture.
* Do not use this product near water.Do not immerge the product into any liquid or have it exposed to dripping or splashing.
* Do not install or use this product near any heat source (e.g. radiator, heater, stove,or other devices that generate heat).
* Do not place any object filled with liquids,such as vases on the product;neither should any open fire,such as lighted candles be
placed on the product.
* Do not block any ventilation openings.Do not insert any object into ventilation openings or slots. It may cause fire or electric shock.
* Keep sufficient clearance around the product to maintain good ventilation (minimum 5cm is recommended).
* Do not force a plug into the jack.Before connection, check for blockage in the jack and whether the plug matches the jack and is
oriented to the right direction.
* Keep the provided accessories and parts (such as screws) away from children to prevent from being swallowed by mistake.
* Do not open or remove the housing yourself. It may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazardous risks. Regardless the cause
ofdamage (such as damaged wire or plug,exposure to liquid splash or foreign object falling in, exposure to rain or moisture, product
not working or being dropped,etc.), the repair has to be performed by an authorized service professional immediately.
* Before cleaning the product with dry cloth,always turn off the product and disconnect the power plug first.
* Never use strong acid,alkali,gasoline,alcohol,or other chemical solvents to clean the product surface. Use only neutral solvent or
clear water for cleaning.
For wireless product:
* Wireless product may generate shortwave radio frequencies and interfere with the normal use ofother electronic devices or medical
equipment.
* Turn off the product when it’s disallowed.Do not use the product in medical facilities,on airplane,at gas stations,near automatic
gates,automatic fire alarm system or other automated devices.
* Do not use the product in the vicinity ofa pacemaker within a 20cm range.The radio waves may affect the normal operation ofthe
pacemaker or other medical devices.

■Additional Information:
1. Recording/playback (works at Line-in and Bluetooth mode)
Press:start recording,press any button again to stop recording;
Press and hold: playback the recording.
2. Indoor mode: gives you a low distortion,pleasant sound;
Outdoor mode:further sound transmission,and stronger penetration.
3. Karaoke mode (not effective at Bluetooth mode)
Weaken the singer’s voice, not 100% but depending on music files.
4. Microphone priority
Background music volume will be reduced down when the microphone is using.

Press:play/pause (works at Bluetooth/USB flash disk/microSD (TF) card mode)
Mute/mute off (works at Line-in mode)

■Connection
■Microphone Bracket Installation
1. Connect power adapter to DC charging port for charging; and unplug power adapter
after the speaker is fully charged.
2. Insert a wired microphone (not included) into microphone input socket and turn
microphone switch on, then adjust microphone volume.
3. Turn the wireless microphone on (included);it will pair with the speaker automatically.
4. Connect audio source device with 3.5mm jack to the line input socket using audio cable,
use music volume to adjust the level.
Firstly insert the microphone bracket into the groove on the left/right side ofthe speaker,
and then place the microphone into the bracket.

■Operational Guide
1. Connect to the audio source device.
2. Select audio source.
3. Connect wireless microphone or wire microphone (can be used at the same time),and
follow the occasions to adjust reverb volume level (do not point the microphone too
close to the speaker front).
4. System is ready to use.
Computer,mobile phone etc microSD (TF) card USB flash diskBluetooth devices
• Press the “Input Selection” button to switch between Bluetooth and line input;
• When playing in Bluetooth or line-in mode,if insert an USB flash disk/microSD (TF) card,
the tracks in it will be played firstly;if USB flash disk and microSD (TF) card are inserted
at the same time, the latter one is preferred.
• The file formats can be played for USB flash disk/microSD (TF) card are MP3, WMA,
and WAV.And the highest sampling rate supported is 48KHz; the highest bit rate
supported by MP3 and WMA format is 320kbps;the highest bit rate supported by WAV
format is 3072kbps; the maximum capacity supported is 64GB.

There is no restriction ofuse.
1. Press the “Input Selection” button on the speaker to select Bluetooth mode;
2. Set your Bluetooth device (mobile phone, tablet, etc) to search and connect to
“EDIFIERA3-8I”.
Note:
*
The Bluetooth function of EDIFIER A3-8I can only be searched and connected in Bluetooth
input. The current Bluetooth connection will be disconnected once the speaker switches
to other audio inputs.When switched back to Bluetooth input,the speaker will try to
connect to the device connected last time.
* Pin code for connection is “0000” ifneeded.
* To disconnect Bluetooth,press and hold the “Input Selection” button on the speaker.
* To enjoy all Bluetooth functions of this product, please ensure your audio source device
has A2DP and AVRCP profiles.
* Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility may be different between different source
devices, depending on the software versions ofsource devices.

■Troubleshooting
Cannot find “EDIFIER A3-8I” in Bluetooth mode
•Ensure the speaker is ON.
•Ensure the speaker is switched to Bluetooth mode.
•
Disconnect from any Bluetooth device by pressing and holding the “Input Selection”
button on the speaker, and search “EDIFIER A3-8I” again.
•Turn the speaker off and restart it to switch to Bluetooth mode, searching
“EDIFIERA3-8I” again.
•Effective Bluetooth transmission range is 10meters; Please ensure that operation
is within the range.
•Try another Bluetooth device for connection.
No sound from the speaker
•Ensure the audio cables are firmly connected and the input is set correctly on the
speaker.
•Ensure signal output from the audio source is normal.
•Try to turn up the volume of the speaker or audio source.
•Turn the speaker off and restart it.
No sound from the microphone
•Check ifbatteries are installed or ifthe positive and negative poles are reversed.
•Ensure the microphone switch is ON.
•Try to turn up the microphone volume.
•Ensure the microphone is within the effective operating range (about 15 meters).
Cannot read files in USB flash disk/microSD (TF) card
•Ensure USB flash disk/microSD (TF) card is correctly inserted into the slot.
•Ensure audio file in the USB flash disk/microSD (TF) card is MP3/WMA/WAV format.
And the highest sampling rate supported is 48KHz; the highest bit rate supported
by MP3 and WMA format is 320kbps;the highest bit rate supported by WAV format
is 3072kbps;the maximum capacity supported is 64GB.
Cannot record or recording sound is small
•Ensure USB flash disk/microSD (TF) card is inserted and has enough capacity.
•Try to turn up the music volume.
