Gebrauchsanweisung lesen und aufbewahren
Diese Gebrauchsanweisung gehört zum Ehrenkind Babybett. Sie enthält
wichtige Informationen zur Inbetriebnahme und Handhabung. Lies die
Gebrauchsanweisung, insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise, sorgfältig
durch, bevor du das Ehrenkind Babybett einsetzt. Die Nichtbeachtung
dieser Gebrauchsanweisung kann zu schweren Verletzungen oder zu
Schäden am Produkt führen. Die Gebrauchsanweisung basiert auf den in
der Europäischen Union und im Vereinigten Königreich gültigen Normen
und Regeln. Beachte im Ausland auch landesspezische Richtlinien und
Gesetze. Bewahre die Gebrauchsanweisung für die weitere Nutzung auf.

Das Babybett ist ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch bestimmt und nicht
für den gewerblichen Bereich geeignet. Verwende das Produkt nur wie in
dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben. Jede andere Verwendung gilt
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu Sachschäden oder sogar zu
Personenschäden führen. Der Hersteller oder Händler übernimmt keine
Haftung für Schäden, die durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen oder falschen
Gebrauch entstanden sind.

Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG!

Verletzungsgefahr!
Unsachgemäßer Umgang mit dem Produkt kann zu ernsten Verletzungen führen.
• Achte darauf, dass das Babybett nur bestimmungsgemäß eingesetzt und
nicht zweckentfremdet wird.
• Die untere Stufe für den Lattenrost ist die sicherste für das Kind.
Verwende die untere Position spätestens, sobald das Kind sitzen kann.
• Entnimm die herausnehmbaren Streben oder ersetze ein Seitenteil durch
die mitgelieferte Latte, sobald das Kind aus dem Babybett herausklettern
kann.
• Nutze keine Matratze, die dicker als 100 mm ist, da der
Sicherheitsabstand zur Bettoberkante sonst nicht mehr eingehalten wird.
• Der Abstand von der Matratzenoberseite bis zur Bettoberkante muss
mindestens 50 cm betragen (Lattenrost auf der unteren Stufe) bzw.
mindestens 20 cm (Lattenrost auf der oberen Stufe).
• Die passende Matratzengröße beträgt 120x60 cm (BBT-P-120X60) bzw.
140x70 cm (BBT-P-140X70).
• Das Babybett sollte nicht nass werden. Reinige es nach den
untenstehenden Reinigungshinweisen.
• Befestige keine anderen Gegenstände wie Springseile, Wäscheleinen
oder Hundeleinen am Babybett, da es sonst beschädigt werden kann und
beschädigte Teile gefährlich für das Kind sein können.
• Stelle das Babybett nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe eines oenen Feuers oder
anderer Hitzequellen auf (z.B. Kamin, Gasofen, elektrischer Heizofen).
• Stelle das Babybett nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe eines Fensters auf, damit
dein Kind nicht aus dem Fenster steigen oder fallen kann.
• Kontrolliere das Babybett regelmäßig auf Verschleißerscheinungen oder
Beschädigungen.
• Kontrolliere regelmäßig, dass alle Schrauben und Muttern fest angezogen
und unbeschädigt sind.
• Achtung! Nur für den Hausgebrauch.

• Stelle das Babybett auf einer gut zugänglichen, ebenen, trockenen und
ausreichend stabilen Fläche auf.
• Stelle das Babybett nicht an den Rand oder an die Kante einer Fläche.
• Verwende das Babybett nicht mehr, wenn die Holzbauteile des
Babybettes Risse oder Sprünge aufweisen oder sich verformt haben.
Ersetze beschädigte Bauteile nur durch passende Original-Ersatzteile. Du

Montagehinweise

Verletzungsgefahr!
• Nutze das Babybett erst nach vollständiger Montage.
• Beachte, dass das Montagezubehör-Set teilweise aus Kleinteilen besteht,
die von Kindern verschluckt werden können. Dies kann zum Ersticken
führen. Kinder dürfen niemals mit kleinteiligen Einzelteilen spielen.
• Das Babybett muss von Erwachsenen aufgebaut werden. Eine fehlerhafte
Montage kann gefährlich sein.
• Bitte entferne auch die Spannfedern, wenn du die Stäbe aus dem
Babybett entnimmst.
• Quetschgefahr: Achte bei der Montage auf deine Finger.
• Lasse Kinder nicht mit der Verpackungsfolie spielen. Kinder können sich
beim Spielen darin verfangen und ersticken.

• Wir empfehlen, das Babybett zu zweit zu montieren.
Reinigung
Reinige vor der erstmaligen Benutzung alle Teile des Ehrenkind Babybettes
wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“ beschrieben.

• Verwende keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel, Bürsten mit Metall- oder
Nylonborsten sowie scharfe oder metallische Reinigungsgegenstände
wie Messer, harte Spachtel und dergleichen. Diese können die
Oberächen beschädigen.
• Achte darauf, dass kein Wasser in die Bohrungen gelangt.
• Wische das Produkt mit einem trockenen oder leicht feuchten Tuch ab.

• Das beinhaltet auch die Schrauben. Prüfe diese regelmäßig und ziehe
diese gegebenenfalls erneut an.
• Untersuche das Produkt vor der Benutzung auf scharfe Kanten.
Aufbewahrung
• Schütze das Produkt vor Minusgraden. Lass es im Winter nicht in der
Kälte stehen.
• Alle Teile müssen vor dem Aufbewahren vollkommen trocken sein.
Bewahre das Produkt stets an einem trockenen Ort auf. Schütze das
Produkt vor Feuchtigkeit.
• Schütze das Produkt vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung.
• Lagere das Produkt für Kinder unzugänglich, sicher verschlossen,
trocken und bei einer Lagertemperatur zwischen +5° C und +20° C
(Zimmertemperatur).

Reading and retaining the instruction manual
This instruction manual belongs to the Ehrenkind baby crib. It contains
important information on initial set-up and handling. Read the instructions for
use, especially the safety instructions, carefully before using the Ehrenkind
baby cot. Failure to follow these instructions may lead to serious injuries or to
damage to the product. The instruction manual is based on the standards and
rules applicable in the European Union and United Kingdom. When abroad,
make sure that you also observe country-specic guidelines and laws. Retain
the instruction manual for future reference. If you pass on the product to
another user, make sure that you also include this instruction manual.

The baby cot is intended exclusively for domestic use and is not suitable for
commercial use. Use the product only as described in this instruction manual.
Any other use is considered improper and may lead to material damage or
even personal injuries. The manufacturer or retailer assumes no liability for
damage caused by improper or incorrect use.

Improper handling of the product may lead to serious injuries.
• Make sure that the baby cot is only used for its intended purpose and is
not misused.
• The lower level for the slatted frame is the safest for the child. Use the
lower position at the latest as soon as the child can sit.
• Remove the removable struts or replace a side part with the supplied slat
as soon as the child can climb out of the baby cot.
• Do not use a mattress that is thicker than 100 mm, as otherwise the
safety distance to the top edge of the cot is no longer maintained.
• The distance from the top of the mattress to the top of the cot must be
at least 50 cm (slatted frame on the lower level) or at least 20 cm (slatted
frame on the upper level).
• The suitable mattress size is 120x60 cm (BBT-P-120X60) or 140x70 cm
(BBT-P-140X70).
• The baby cot should not get wet. Clean it according to the cleaning
instructions below.
• Do not attach other objects such as skipping ropes, clotheslines or dog
leashes to the baby cot, as it can be damaged and damaged parts can
be dangerous for the child.
• Do not place the baby cot in the immediate vicinity of an open re or
other sources of heat (e.g. replace, gas stove, electric heater).
• Do not place the baby cot near a window so that your child cannot climb
or fall out of the window.
• Check the baby cot regularly for signs of wear or damage.
• Check regularly that all screws and nuts are tight and undamaged.

• For the baby cot we recommend the assembly by two persons.
Cleaning
Before using the Ehrenkind baby cot for the rst time, clean all parts as
described in the chapter „Cleaning“.

• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon
bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning tools, such as knives, hard scrapers
or similar. These may damage the surfaces.
• Make sure that no water gets into the drill holes.
• Wipe the product with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Maintenance

Improper handling of the product may lead to serious injuries.
• Check regularly before use whether all components are intact and check
the product regularly for breakages or wear.
• This also includes the screws. Check them regularly and retighten them if
necessary.

Storage
• Protect the product from freezing temperatures. Do not leave it out in the
cold during winter.
