General safety recautions
Keep hese ins ruc ions and hey should remain a
he appliance when moving away or changing
owner.
This appliance is designed for s oring and freezing
food, domes ic use according o hese ins ruc ions
only.
S ecialised com anies that are qualified to do
so by the manufacturer must carry out service
and re airs including re airing and changing
the ower cord. Accessory par s supplied by
hem should be used only for repairing. O herwise
he appliance can be damaged or can cause o her
damage or injury.
The appliance is ou of circui only in ha case if he
plug is removed from he socke . Before cleaning
and main enance always unplug i (do no ge i by
he cable). If he socke is difficul o reach, swi ch
off he appliance by cu ing off he curren .
Power cord mus no be leng hened.
Make sure that the ower lug is not squashed
or damaged by the back of the fridge/freezer.
- A damaged power plug may overhea and cause a
fire.
Do not lace heavy articles or the
fridge/freezer itself on the ower cord.
- There is a risk of a shor circui and fire.
Do not remove the ower cord by ulling on its
lead, articularly when the fridge/freezer is
being ulled out of its niche.

personnel.
If the ower lug socket is loose, do not insert
the ower lug.

This lamp gives ligh when he appliance is live i. e.
he mains plug is in he mains socke .
b).Red lam
This lamp swi ches on depending on he
empera ure inside he appliance.
I gives ligh for a shor ime when s ar ing he
appliance, placing fresh food in o i and when he
hermos a ic con rol knob has been urned in
direc ion of lower empera ure.
I gives ligh permanen ly when he empera ure
inside he appliance is oo high (overloaded wi h
warm food, door s ayed open or he gaske does
no close properly) or possibly he appliance has
gone wrong.
c). Yellow lam
I gives ligh when he con inuous-du y opera ion
swi ch is on.
d).Continuous o eration (fast freezer) switch
When he swi ch is in righ -hand posi ion he
compressor opera es con inuously and provides
he available coldes inside empera ure ha is
necessary for freezing his way.
e). Thermostat knob
This is for se ing and changing he empera ure
inside he appliance.
Handling the a liance
Putting it into use
Pu he plug in o he mains socke . Turn he
hermos a ic con rol knob according o he figure. This
ime he red lamp s ar s giving ligh , he compressor
s ar s and cooling begins shor ly.
When he red ligh goes ou he empera ure is
sufficien and he appliance is sui able for s oring
frozen and deep-frozen foods.
Controlling the tem erature
The hermos a ic con roller in errup s he opera ion of
he appliance au oma ically for more or less ime
depending on he se ing hen res ar s i assuring he
required empera ure.

Se ing he hermos a knob can be done prac ically
wi h a coin. Turning he con rol knob clockwise
cooling becomes more and more in ensive.
In he appliance -18 °C or lower empera ure can be
reached if he hermos a knob is se according o he
figure.
The hermos a can be swi ched off (0 posi ion),
which means breaking he circui of he compressor
i.e. s opping cooling.
The empera ure coming abou in he freezer is
effec ed by no only he posi ion of he hermos a ic
con rol and he ambien empera ure, bu frequency of
door openings and he quan i y of food pu in o i , e c.
In maximum posi ion of he hermos a - in case
of increased demand e.g. during hea waves -
he compressor may opera e con inually. This does
no cause damages o he appliance.
Freezing
Freezing differen produc s should always be done in
he freezing compar men af er proper preparing.
Move he fas freezer swi ch o he righ (yellow lamp
gives ligh ) 4 hours before freezing food in small
quan i y and abou 24 hours before in case of
produc s in bigger quan i y. This ime he compressor
opera es con inually o reach he empera ure
necessary for freezing.
Place he foods o be frozen in and opera e he
appliance as wri en for abou 24 hours.
Af er hese move he fas freezer swi ch o he lef
(yellow ligh will go ou ).
The freezing ray is sui able for freezing smaller frui s
(raspberry, s rawberry, curran , e c.). Frui s should be
pu in he ray in hin layers wi hou packaging. Af er
freezing hey can be packed and sor ed ou hen
placed in o he s oring compar men s.
Storing
I is prac ical o replace frozen produc s in o he
s oring compar men s (cages) af er freezing has
finished so ha o make room in he freezing
compar men for ano her freezing.
In ermedia e freezing does no de eriora e foods
already s ored.

How to make ice cubes
To make ice cubes fill he enclosed ice cube ray wi h
wa er and pu i o he frozen food compar men .

ime. Af er finishing do no forge o rese he
hermos a ic con rol o he sui able s age.
Ready ice cubes can be aken ou of he ray under
running wa er hen wis or hi i .
Some useful information and
advice
Af er opening and closing he door of freezer
vacuum will rise inside he appliance because of
he low empera ure. So wai 2-3 minu es af er
closing he door - if you wan o open i again - while
inner pressure equalises.
Take care of opera ing he freezer a a posi ion of
hermos a ic con rol so ha he inside empera ure
can never go beyond -18 °C, since empera ure
higher han his can de eriora e frozen foods.
I is prac ical o make sure of faul less opera ion of
he appliance daily so as o no ice possible failure
in ime and preven de eriora ion of frozen foods.

How to save energy
Avoid pu ing he appliance in a sunny place and
near any hing ha gives off hea .
Be sure ha he condenser and he compressor
are well ven ila ed. Do no cover he sec ions where
ven ila ion is.
Wrap produc s in igh ly closing dishes or cling film
o avoid building up unnecessary fros .
Avoid produc s pu in he freezer compar men o
ouch foods already frozen.
Do no leave he door open longer han necessary
and avoid unnecessary openings.
Pu warm foods in o he appliance only when hey
are a room empera ure.
The condenser mus be kep clean.
The a liance and environment
This appliance does no con ain gasses which

refrigeran circui or insula ion ma erials. The
appliance shall no be discarded oge her wi h he
urban refuse and rubbish. Avoid damaging he
cooling uni , especially a he rear near he hea

Maintenance
Defrosting
Bleeding par of he mois ure of cooling chamber in

Thick fros and ice has an insula ing effec , so i
reduces cooling efficiency as he empera ure
increases, i needs more energy, a a cer ain
hickness i does no allow he door of he freezing
compar men o open, possibly he door can be
broken.

and ice wi h he enclosed ice scraper.

When ice coa ing is so hick ha i can no be removed
wi h he fros scraper defros ing is necessary. I s
frequency depends on usage.
How o defros i :
Break he circui of he appliance.
Take he frozen foods ou of he appliance and pu
hem in o a baske lined wi h paper or clo h. S ore
hem in a possibly cool place or replace hem in o a
frozen or fresh food compar men of a refrigera or.
Leave he door open.
Sweep off he mel ing wa er occasionally wi h a clo h
or sponge in direc ion of sides which ga hers in he
ou le channel prac ically formed in he bo om of he
appliance and can be removed as follows:
Pu an ray high enough in fron of he appliance. Pull
ou defros wa er ou le placed in he middle of he
bo om of he appliance carefully in he direc ion of he
arrow. Defros wa er will flow in o he ray hrough he
ou le .
Defros ing process can be made quicker by placing a
po or dish filled wi h warm wa er o he cooling pla e
formed as a shelf.
Af er defros ing wipe he surfaces and push defros
wa er ou le back.
Apply vol age o he appliance.

Regular cleaning

Unscrew he adjus able fee si ua ed on bo h sides
(2 pieces), in addi ion he screws fixing he lower
door holders (3 pieces) and he screw on he o her
side respec ively.

Then screw in he one screw in he place se free
on he o her side as well as he adjus able fee (2
pieces) and se up he box.

In case you do no wan o perform he procedures
above, call he neares brand-mark service.
