WING INFLATION
BEFORE YOU LAY OUT THE WING, CHECK THE SURFACE FOR ANY
OBJECTIVES WHICH COULD DAMAGE THE WING:
1. Open all cleats located on the strut connectors to ensure that air transfers between
LE and Struts
2. Attach pump leash to the attachment point at the centre of the Leading Edge.

HAND SAFETY LEASH
1. Always attach the hand leash to your prefered arm
2. Make sure you attach and close the safety leash correctly
3. Never use the wing without the hand leash
PACKING/DERIGGING
1. Deate your wing then fold the wing from the wingtips towards the centre strut (from
both sides).
2. Before folding the wing, it should be completely dry.
Packing wings wet can result in color bleeding
3. If the wing has been in salt water several times over several sessions,
it is recommended to rinse it with fresh water, however do not rinse it too often.
4. Avoid leaving your wing on the beach in the sunlight and wind for prolonged periods.
UV rays as well as apping may harms the material.
5. Frequently check your wing for damage. If you nd damage, x it with the repair kit or
buy a professional wing repair.
6. Avoid storing your wing in closed warm areas for extended periods, such as a car on a
summer’s day, as the excessive heat may cause the glue to delaminate.

Wingboarding is an extreme sport. Participants must be aware of the potential risks and danger

CAUTIONS AND SAFETY
Eleveight strongly recommends
If you are new to wingboarding or not feeling condent with your abilities, it is recommended
that you seek a certied wingboarding school for instruction. This will maximize your enjoyment
of the sport and will further help preventing any accidental injuries or damage to your equip-
ment. Familiarizing yourself with the correct safety precautions and wingboarding techniques
will help to ensure safe wingboarding.
WINGBOARDING SAFETY
1. Do Not attempt to wingboard without instruction from a certied wingboarding school.
2. Do Not wing alone.
3. Do Not y your wing over obstructed water.
4. Do Not perform any jumps of waters shallower than three meters.
5. Do Not allow those who aren’t familiar with wingboarding launch, land, or use your wing.
6. Be sure you are a strong swimmer before attempting wingboarding.
7. Never wingboarder further from shore than you are able and/or willing to swim.
8. Understand the safety releases and precautions of your equipment.
9. Understand and practice the technique of self-rescue before attempting to wingboard.
10. Be sure wind speed and water conditions are within your ability level.
11. Do Not hesitate to ask experienced wingboarders for help.
LOCATION SAFETY
1. Avoid oshore and side oshore wind conditions.
2. Obey all local laws, rules and regulations.
3. Speak to local shop, school or riders about weather conditions and spot rules and
regulations.
4. Be sure you have a large enough area for set up, launching and landing.
5. Be aware of wind direction in the area you are launching and landing from.
6. Always use a tracking device such as a smartwatch, mobile phone, GPS locator etc. and
a distress are in case of any emergency.
7. Avoid crowded waterways and beaches.
8. Do not launch, land or y your wing over other persons.
9. Be aware of other water users including surfers, windsurfers, boaters, PWC, swimmers etc.
10. Be sure to scout out the area downwind if the wind should die or you are not able to stay up wind.
11. Be sure to have a back up plan if you can’t return to where you started.

CAUTIONS AND SAFETY
Weather hazards
Do not underestimate the power of the wind. Do not underestimate the power of the water.
Avoid oshore and side oshore wind conditions. Be aware of changing and unpredictable
weather conditions. Be sure wind speed and water conditions are within your ability level. Avoid
gusty, turbulent wind conditions. Do not use this product in a thunder or lightning storm. Be ed-
ucated on tides and rip currents. Do not use an oversized wing. Consult your wind range chart
for recommended wing size. Listen to others at the beach. If they recommend not going out or
getting of the water please follow! Not all hazards and risks can be completed. The guidelines
and basic rules for wingboarding apply with those of common sense and are valid for all sports.

WINGBOARDING IS AN EXTREME SPORT AND IT’S ALWAYS BEST TO BE
PREPARED WITH THE CORRECT PROTECTIVE GEAR IN THE CHANCE THAT
YOU FIND YOURSELF IN ANY RISKY OR UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATION.
1. Never use your wing without wearing a coastguard approved PFD.
2. Always wear a helmet to protect your head from any collisions with the wingboard or
any other objects.
3. Wear an appropriate neoprene wetsuit for water and air temperatures.
4. Wear polarized eye protection.
5. Wear protective neoprene footwear.
