- PS-722 EN50022 standartlarına uygun DIN raylara kolayca monte edilebilir.
- Cihazı dik olarak monte ediniz. Cihaz monte edilirken DC çıkış kısmının üst tarafa gelecek şekilde monte
edilmesi tavsiye edilir.
- Cihazın havalandırılmasına dikkat ederek monte ediniz. Monte edildikten sonra PS-722 ile yanındaki cihazlar
arasında 1’er cm boşluk bırakılması önerilir.

1- Giriş
1.1 Uygulamalar : PS-722 Endüstriyel uygulamalar ve bina otomasyonlarında güvenle kullanabileceğiniz,
panellerde montaj kolaylığı için DIN kutu standartlarına göre tasarlanmış yüksek verimli 72W lık anahtarlama
modlu güç kaynağıdır.

1.3 Kullanım :
Şekil 1’de gösterilen cihazda, 1 numaralı kısım PS-722’nin giriş gerilimi bağlantı noktasıdır, cihaz
gövdesinde L(Line) ve N(Neutral), ile gösterilmektedir. Bu noktalara besleme gerilimini bağlayınız. Şekil 1’de 2
ile gösterilen kısım PS-722’nin DC çıkış kısmıdır, DC çıkışın polaritesi, + ve - ile gövde üzerinde gösterilmektedir.
Bu noktalardan PS-722, ayarlanabilen DC çıkış gerilimi vermektedir. PS-722 ye besleme verildiğinde Şekil
1’de 4 numara ile gösterilen LED yanacaktır. Bu ledin yanması PS-722’nin çalıştığını ve çıkış gerilimi ürettiğini
göstermektedir. Şekil 1’de 3 numaralı kısım cihazın DC gerilim potansiyometresidir. Cihaza enerji verdikten
sonra potansiyometre ok yönünde çevrilerek çıkış gerilimi arttırılabilir veya ters yönde çevrilerek çıkış gerilimi
azaltılabilir ve bu şekilde çıkış gerilimi beyan edilen aralık içinde değiştirilebilir. Aşırı yüklenme, ısınma veya
çıkışın kısa devre olması gibi durumlarda cihaz kendini korumaya alarak kapanacaktır. Arıza durumunun
ortadan kalkması ile birlikte cihaz otomatik olarak kendini tekrar devreye alacaktır. (Termal koruma durumunda
besleme girişinin kesilip tekrar verilmesi gerekmektedir.)
2- Cihaz Yapısı (Şekil 2)
2.1 Giriş (1)
- Şekil 2’te 1 ile gösterilen kısım PS-722 nin Line (Hat) ve Neutral (Nötr) besleme girişidir.
- 100-240 VAC giriş gerilimi, L ve N uçları kullanarak bağlanabilir.
- 110-350 VDC giriş gerilimi, L ve N uçları kullanarak bağlanabilir.
- Cihaz, içerisinde bulunan dahili bir sigorta ile koruma altındadır. Ancak DC giriş gerilimi uygulanacak ise
uygun harici bir sigortada kullanılabilir.
2.2 Çıkış (2)
- Şekil 2’de 2 ile gösterilen kısım PS-722 nin DC gerilim çıkışıdır.
- DC çıkışın pozitif ve negatif kısımları (+) ve (-) ile gösterilmiştir.
- Çıkış gerilimi 24 VDC dir.
- Çıkış gerilimi cihaz üzerindeki potansiyometre ile 21.6-27.6 VDC arasında ayarlanabilir.
- Cihaz çıkışı kısa devreye karşı korumalıdır.

Çıkışı kısa devre olduğunda cihaz tamamen kapanır ve kısa devre durumu geçince kendiliğinden tekrar çalışır.
- Cihaz +55 ⁰C ortam sıcaklığına kadar çalışabilir.*
PS-722 de LED göstergesi bulunur. (Şekil 1 de 4 numaralı kısım)
- Enerji yokken : Output OK Ledi sönüktür.
- Normal çalışma modu : Output OK Ledi yanmaktadır.
- Kısa devre : Output OK Ledi sönüktür. Kısa devre durumu geçerse cihaz tekrar çalışmaya başlar.
- Aşırı yük : Normal sıcaklıkta cihazdan aşırı yük çekilirse Output OK Ledi söner. Cihaz aşör yapar. Yük
durumu normale geldiğinde tekrar çalışmaya devam eder.
Sıcaklık + Aşırı yük: Cihaz beslemeyi keser. Gerilim üretmez.
- Aşırı çıkış gerilimi : Output OK Ledi yanıp söner.
3- Bağlantı ve Montaj
3.1 Elektrik Bağlantısı
- AC Giriş (1): PS-722 nominal yükte en fazla 1.7A AC, en az 0.8A AC akım çeker. Kablo kalınlığı buna göre
seçilmelidir. Giriş klemensine maksimum 14 AWG çok damarlı (2.5mm2) kablo ,12 AWG tek damarlı (4mm2)
kablo bağlanabilir.
- DC çıkışı (2): Çıkış akımı 3A DC dir. Kablo kalınlığı buna göre seçilmelidir. Çıkış klemensine maksimum 14
AWG çok damarlı (2.5mm2) kablo ,12 AWG tek damarlı (4mm2) kablo bağlanabilir.
- Standartlara uygunluk açısından 75 ⁰C de çalışabilecek uygun bakır kablo kullanınız.

Mounting (Figure 2)
- PS-722 can be mounted on DIN rails which comply with EN50022 standards.
- Mount the device vertically. When mounting the device, it is recommended that the DC output side stays
on top side.
- Mind the device’s ventilation when mounting the device. After the mounting, it is recommended to leave a
1 cm space between PS-722 and devices next to it.

This user manual contains information necessary for the safe and correct operation of the device. Before
mounting the device, please read this user manual carefully and pay attention to warnings.
Safety and Warnings
! ATTENTION
Do not open the device under any circumstances. An opened device’s warranty will become void.
! ATTENTION The device must be mounted only by qualied personnel with necessary precautions against
electric shock in place. Incorrect connection may create dangerous result for people and environment.
Incorrect connection may result in permanent damage to the performance of the device.
- Before you energize the device or remove the device from mains, make sure that the supply cable isn’t
connected to mains.
- Supply input of the device must be connected according to EN60950 standards.
! A supply voltage greater than 265V AC may result in an explosion in the device or in damages to the user.
- Device supply must be at a sucient power capacity and must comply with security standards.

Cables connected to the outputs of PS-722 must be suitable for the maximum current that PS-722 can provide.
- After device connection is nished, connection points must be protected against accidental contacts.
- Mounting of the device must be done vertically as shown in Figure-1.
1- Introduction
1.1 Applications : PS-722 is a 72W high eciency SMPS which was designed according to DIN case
standards for easy installation in panels. It can be safely used in industrial and building automation
applications.

1.3 Operation : The part of the device which is numbered as 1 in Figure-1 is the input voltage connection
point of PS-722 and it is shown with L (Line) and N (Neutral) on the device body. Connect the supply voltage
to these points. The part of the device which is numbered as 2 in Figure-1 is the DC output connection point
of PS-722 and its polarity is shown with + and - on the device body. PS-722 supplies adjustable DC voltage
from these connection points. When supply voltage is applied to PS-722, the LED which is numbered as 4
in Figure-1 will light up. When this is LED is lit, it indicates that PS-722 is working and it generates an output
voltage. The part of the device which is numbered as 3 in Figure-1 is the DC voltage adjustment trimpot of
the device. After the device has been energized, the output voltage is increased by turning the adjustment
trimpot clockwise and is decreased by turning the adjustment trimpot is turned counterclockwise. This way,
the output voltage can be adjusted in the specied range.The device will turn itself o to protect itself during
cases of overload, overheating and shortcircuit at the output contacts. When the error state is resolved, it will
activate itself automatically. (In case of thermal protection power on reset is needed).
2- Block Diagram
2.1 Input (1)
- The part which is numbered as 1 in Figure-2 is the Line and Neutral supply inputs of PS-722.
- 100-240V AC input voltage can be connected by using the L and N terminals.
- 110-350V DC input voltage can be connected by using the L and N terminals.
- The device will turn itself o to protect itself during cases of overload, overheating and shortcircuit at the
output contacts. When the error state is resolved, it will activate itself automatically.
2.2 Output (2)
- The part which is numbered as 1 in Figure-2 is the DC voltage output of PS-722.
- Positive and negative parts of the output voltage are shown with (+) and (-).
- Output voltage is 24V DC.
- Output voltage can be adjusted between 21.6-27.6V DC values by using the adjustment trimpot on the
device.
- Device output is protected against short circuit.
- When the output is shorted circuited, device turns o completely and turns on again after the short circuit
condition is resolved.
- The device can operate up to an ambient temperature of +55⁰C.*
PS-722 has LED indicator (Parts 4 in Figure-1).
- When there’s no energy : Output OK LED is o.
- Normal operation mode : Output OK LED is on.
- Short circuit : Output OK LED is o. If short circuit situation is resolved, the device starts to work again.
- Overload : If overload is drawn from device at normal temperature, Output OK LED turn o. The device
makes blinks. When the load condition returns to normal, the device starts to opening again.
- Overheating + Overload : Device cuts the supply, doesn’t generate voltage.
- Overvoltage on Output : Output OK LED blinks.
3- Connection and Mounting
3.1 Wire Connection
- AC Input (1): Under nominal load, PS-722 draws maximum 1.7A AC and minimum 0.8A AC. Wire thickness
must be selected according to these values. Maximum 14 AWG stranded wire (2.5 mm2) or 12 AWG solid wire
(4 mm2) can be connected to the input terminal.
- DC output (2): Output current is 3A DC. Wire thickness must be selected according to this value. Maximum
14 AWG stranded wire (2.5 mm2) or 12 AWG solid wire (4 mm2) can be connected to the output terminal.
- In terms of complying with standards, use copper wires that can operate at 75oC.
