Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury follow these basic precautions when using your appliance.
1) WARNING----Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
2) WARNING----Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
3) WARNING----Do not use electrical appliances inside the appliance

5) WARNING----GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short
circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire for the electrical current. This
appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an
outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
6) DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD
7) Use an exclusive 115V wall outlet. Do not connect your refrigerator to extension cords or together with any other
appliance in the same wall outlet. Do not splice the cord.
8) Always unplug before any maintenance or service on the appliance.
9) If the component part is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer , its service agent or similar qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
10) Follow local regulations regarding disposal of the appliance due to flammable refrigerant and blowing gas. All
refrigeration products contain refrigerants, which under the guidelines of federal law must be removed before disposal.
It is the consumer’s responsibility to comply with federal and local regulations when disposing of this product.
11) This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar environment such as:
•staff kitchen, work shop, office and other working environments;
•farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
•bed and breakfast type environments;
•catering and similar non retail applications.
12) Do not store or use gasoline or any inflammable liquors and liquids inside or in the vicinity of refrigerator.
13) Do not use an extension cord with this appliance. If the power cord is too short, have a quali fied electrician install an
outlet near the appliance. Use of an extension can negatively affect the appliance’s performance.

Levelling the refrigerator
To do this adjust the two levelling feet at front of the unit.
If the unit is not level, the doors and magnetic seal
alignments will not be covered properly
Select a location without direct exposure to sunlight;
Select a location with enough space for the
refrigerator doors to open easily;
Select a location with level (or nearly level) flooring;
Allow sufficient space to install the refrigerator on a
flat surface;
Allow clearance to the right, left, back and top when
installing. This will help reduce power consumption
and keep your energy bills lower.
INSTALLATION
Space Requirement
Location
The appliances should be installed well away from sources
of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct sunlight etc. Ensure
that air can circulate freely around the back of the cabinet. To
ensure best performance, if the ap-pliance is positionned
below an overhanging wall unit, the minimum distance
between the top of the cabinet and the wall unit must be at
least 100 mm. Ideally, the appliances should not be positionned
below overhan-ging wall units. Accurate leveling is ensured by
one or more adjustable feet at the base of the cabinet.
WARNING!It must be possible to disconnect the appliances from the
main power supply; the plug must therefore be easily accessible after
installation.

TEMPERATURE SELECTION
We recommend that when you start your refrigerator for the first time, the temperature for the
refrigerator is set to 4°C and the freezer to -18°C. If you want to change the temperature, follow the
instructions below.
Using the Control Panel
Use your appliance according to the following control regulations, your appliance has the corresponding
functions and modes as the control panels showed in the pictures below. When the appliance is powered
on for the first time, the backlighting of the icons on display panel starts working. If no buttons have
been pressed and the doors are closed, the backlighting will turn off.
Caution! When you set a temperature, you set an average temperature for the whole refrigerator
cabinet. Temperatures inside each compartment may vary from the temperature values displayed on the
panel, depending on how much food you store and where you place them. Ambient temperature may
also affect the actual temperature inside the appliance.
Fridge
Press "Fridge" to set fridge temperature between 2°C and 8°C as needed, and control panel will display
corresponding values according to the following sequence.
Freezer
Press "Freezer' to set freezer temperature between -14°C and -24°C as needed, and the control panel
will display corresponding value according to the following sequence.

Super Freeze (press 3 seconds)
Super Freeze will quickly lower the temperature within the freezer so food will freeze vitamins
and nutrients of fresh food and keep food fresh longer.
• In case of the maximum amount of food to be frozen, please wait about 24 h.
• Super freeze automatically switches off after 26 hours and the freezer temperature setting
displays -25°C.
• When super freeze function on you can switch off super freeze function by pressing
'Freezer button 3 seconds and the freezer temperature setting will revert back to the previous
setting.
Holiday (press 3 seconds)
If you are going to be away for a long period of time, you can activate this function by
pressing '' '' button 3 seconds to set function
• When the holiday function is activated, the temperature of the refrigerator is automatically
switched to 15°C to minimize the energy consumption.
Important! Do not store any food in the fridge during this time.
• When the holiday function is on, you can switch it off by pressing 'Fridge' button 3 seconds
and the refrigerator temperature setting will revert back to the previous setting.
• When the door of fridge is open for over 2 minutes, the door alarm will sound. In case of door
alarm, buzzer will sound 1 time every minute and will stop after 10 minutes when the
temperature is stabilized
• To save energy, please avoid keeping the door open for a long time when using the appliance.
The door alarm can also be cleared by closing the fridge door.

•The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-
frozen food for a long time.
•Place the fresh food to be frozen in the bottom compartment.
•The maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is specified on the rating plate.
•The freezing process lasts 24 hours: during this period do not add other food to be frozen.
Daily Use
Storing frozen food
When first starting-up or after a period out of use. Before putting the product in the
compartment let the appliance run at last 2 hours on the higher settings.
IMPORTANT! Power Failure Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should
not affect the temperature of your refrigerator or freezer if you minimize the number of
times the door is opened. If the power is going to be off for a longer period of time, you need
to take the proper steps to protect your food.
Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to be used, can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment
or at room temperature,refrigerator compartment or at room depending on the time available
for this operation. Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly from the
freezer. In this case, cooking will take longer.
Adjustable Glass
The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series of runners so
that the shelves can be positioned as desired.
First use
Cleaning the interior
Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories
with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brand
new product, then dry thoroughly.
Important! Do not use detergents or abrasive powders, as these will damage the finish.

Daily Use
To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are some important hints:
Prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to thaw only
the quantity required;
Wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure that the packages are airtight;
Do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food which is already frozen, thus avoiding a rise in temperature of the latter;
Lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones; salt reduces the storage life of food;
Water ice, if consumed immediately after removal from the freezer compartment, can possibly cause forst burns;
It is advised to show the freezing date on each individual pack to enable removal from the freezer compartment, in a timely
manner;
It is advised to show the freezing date on each individual pack to enable you to keep tab of the storage time.
Make sure that the commercially frozen foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer;
Be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred from the food store to the freezer in the shortest possible time;
Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary;
Once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be refrozen;
Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacture.
Hints for fresh food refrigeration
To obtain the best performance:
Do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator;
Do not cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour.
Make (all types): wrap in polythene bags and place on the glass shelves above the vegetable drawer;
For safety, store in this way only one or two days at the most;
Cooked foods, cold dishes, etc. These should be covered and may be placed on any shelf;
Fruit and vegetables: these should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the special drawer(s) provided;
Butter and cheese: These should be placed in special airtight containers or wrapped in aluminium foil or polythene bags to
exclude as much air as possible;
Milk bottle: these should have a cap and should be stored in the balconies on the door;
Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, if not packed, must not be kept in the fridge.
Cleaning
For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior accessories, should be cleaned regularly.
Caution! Turn off and unplug the appliances during the cleaning process. Danger of electrical Shock! Before cleaning turn off
the appliance and remove the plug from the electrical outlet, or switch the circuit breaker/fuse off. Moisture can accumulate in
the electrical components creating the danger of a shock. Hot vapors can lead to the damage of plastic parts, ensure that the
appliances is dry before plugging in the unit and turning it on."
Important! Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack plastic parts, e.g. lemon juice or the juice from orange peel, butyric
acid, cleanser that contain acetic acid.
Do not allow such substances to come into contact with the appliance parts;
Do not use any abrasive cleaners;
Remove the food from the freezer. Store them in a cool place, well covered.
Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains, or swith off or turn out the circuit breaker fuse;
Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with a cloth and lukewarm water. After cleaning wipe with fresh water
and rub dry;
After everything is dry, plug the appliance into the mains power supply and then you may use the appliance.

•Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is hot and humid. Once you open the door, close it as soon as possible.
•Every now and then check if the appliance is sufficiently ventilated (adequate air circulation behind the appliance.)
•Set the Temperature from cooler to warmer settings whenever
•possible (depending on how loaded the appliance is, ambient temperatures etc.)
•Before loading the appliance with packages of hot foods, make sure that they are cooled to ambient temperature.
•If the gasket is damaged or the door seal is poor, energy consumption is substantially higher. To restore efficiency,
•replace the gasket.

agrees to repair or replace this product for 1 year from the date of original purchase and/or agrees to pay for parts and service/labor required
to correct defects in materials or workmanship. Any and all Service must be approved and provided by an Authorized Stirling Marathon Service
provider. YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE PRODUCT REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AT THE SOLE

How to Obtain Service
Carry-In: The original purchaser must deliver or ship the defective product to an authorized Stirling Marathon Service present a copy of the
original bill of sale or Warranty Registration Confirmation.
In-Home: Contact Authorized Service Center and provide a copy of the Original bill of sale or Warranty Registration Card. If you are in a remote
area or the closest Autho-rized Service Center is further than 100 km (60 miles), you will be required to deliver the appliance to the closest
Service Center at your expense.
Stirling Marathon is not be responsible or liable for any spoilage or damage to food or other contents of this appliance, whether due to any
defect of the appliance, or its use, whether proper or improper.
Items Excluded from Warranty
Damages due to shipping damage or improper installation.
Damages due to misuse or abuse.
Content losses due to failure of the unit.
Commercial or Rental Use Limited to 90 days Parts & Labor.
Plastic parts such as door bins, panels, door shelves, racks, light bulbs, etc.
Punctures to the evaporator system due to improper defrosting of the unit.
Service or Repair by unauthorized service technicians.
Service calls that do not involve defects in material and workmanship such as instruction on proper use of the product, door reversal or improper

Replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
Delivery costs incurred as the result of a unit that fails.
Expenses for travel and transportation for product service if your appliance is located in a remote area where service by an unauthorized service
technician is not available.
The removal and reinstallation of your appliance if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in accordance with published installation
instructions.
Liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement or refund. If a replacement unit is not available or the unit cannot be repaired, liability is
limited to the actual.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not extend to any subsequent owner(s) and is non-transferable.

USAGE QUOTIDIEN
Voici quelques conseils importants an de proter du meilleur rendement en matière
de congélation :
•Une congélation complétée demande 24h d’attente. Aucune autre nourriture ne doit être ajoutée durant cette période;
•Veuillez conserver que de la nourriture de qualité fraîche.
•Portionnez la nourriture en de petites quantités an de les congeler rapidement et au besoin dégeler seulement une certaine
quantité requise.
•Emballez la nourriture sous vide ou avec une pellicule moulante.
•Ne laissez pas de la nourriture fraîche ou décongelée entrer en contact avec des items surgelés, car cela aura pour eet de
faire monter la température et aecter la conservation.
•La viande maigre se conserve plus longtemps qu’une viande moins maigre en gras.
•Il est conseillé de garder visible les dates de péremption de chaque paquet de sorte à pouvoir faire le tri plus facilement.
•Vous assurer que vos aliments ont été bien entreposés par votre épicier.
•Assurez-vous que les aliments surgelés de l’épicerie soient congelés à nouveau dans votre congélateur dans le plus court
des délais possibles.
•Ne pas ouvrir inutilement les portes de l’appareil.
•Une fois décongelée, la nourriture se détériore rapidement et ne peut être congelée à nouveau.
•Ne pas conserver aliments congelés au delà de ce qui est indiqué.
An d’obtenir la meilleure performance de réfrigération, vous devrez:
• Ne pas inclure dans le réfrigérateur de la nourriture chaude ou en état d’évaporation.Toujours emballer d’une pellicule moulante tous
les aliments/repas avant de les ranger dans le réfrigérateur.
•Conserver les aliments dans le réfrigérateur au maximum 48h.
•Les fruits et légumes doivent être lavés et mis dans les tiroirs prévus à cet effet.
•Le beurre et le fromage doivent être dans un endroit hermétique ou emballé dans du papier d’aluminium.
•Le lait doit être stocké sur l’un des balconnets de porte.
•S’ils ne sont pas dans un emballage, les bananes, patates, onions et ails ne doivent pas être dans le réfrigérateur.
• Envelopper d’une pellicule moulante la nourriture, particulièrement celle qui est très rehaussée au goût.
Entretien
Pour des raisons hygiéniques, l’intérieur et les accessoires du réfrigérateur doivent être lavés régulièrement.
ATTENTION! Cet appareil ne doit pas être connecté à une source électrique lors du nettoyage. Risque possible de choc
électrique! Avant de débuter le nettoyage, mettre l’appareil en arrêt et débrancher-le de la prise de courant. Ne jamais nettoyer
votre appareil à l’aide d’appareil à vapeur ou pression. L’humidité pourrait s’accumuler dans les composantes électriques. Risque
possible de choc électrique! La haute vapeur peut occasionner des dommages aux composantes plastiques. L’appareil doit être
asséché avant d’être remis en fonction de marche.
IMPORTANT! Les huiles à base de pétrole ou solvants organiques peuvent aecter les composantes plastiques. ex. Jus de citron,
dissolvant d’agrumes, acide acétique, etc.
•Ne jamais laisser ces substances entrer en contact avec les accessoires et l'intérieur du réfrigérateur.
•Ne jamais utiliser de nettoyant abrasif.
•Retirer les aliments congelés et les ranger dans un endroit frais et bien couvert.
•Mettre l’appareil en arrêt et retirer la che électrique de la prise de courant.
•Nettoyer l’intérieur avec un chion doux et une solution savonneuse d’eau tiède.Après avoir essuyé et
séché l’intérieur, mettre en fonction de marche l’appareil.

Conseils en matière d'économie d'énergie
•Minimisez les ouvertures de porte le plus que possible, particulièrement en période de forte humidité et chaleur intense. Lorsque
vous ouvrez la porte, fermez-la rapidement.
•Vérifiez occasionnellement que l'appareil est suffisamment ventilé (l'air ambiant doit circuler librement tout autour de l'appareil)
•Lorsque c'est possible, ajustez l'intensité de la température en fonction du climat extérieur, de la quantité d'épicerie etc..
•Avant de ranger dans le réfrigérateur de la nourriture chaude, assurez-vous qu'elle ait été refroidie à la température de la pièce.
•Si le joint d'étanchéité est endommagé ou affecté par l'usure du temps, la consommation d'énergie sera plus grande. Remplacez le
joint d'étanchéité afin de rétablir la performance de la consommation électrique.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
Nettoyage de l’intérieur
Avant de mettre en fonction votre appareil pour la première fois, nettoyer l’intérieur et les accessoires avec une
eau savonneuse tiède an d’éliminer les odeurs résiduelles. Sécher complètement.
Important! Ne pas utiliser de détergent ou de poudres abrasives qui pourraient endommager la nition.
Congélation des aliments
Le compartiment à congélation est propice à la congélation des aliments frais et surgelés pour une longue•
période.
Placer simplement les aliments à geler dans le bas du compartiment.•
Le processus de congélation nécessite une période de 24h. Ne pas ajouter d’autres nourritures durant•
cette période.
Conservation des aliments gelés
Suite à la première mise en marche ou après une période de non-activité, laisser l’appareil fonctionner
au moins 2 heures à la température maximale avant d’y insérer la nourriture à conserver.
Décongélation
Les aliments surgelés peuvent être décongelés dans le compartiment réfrigérateur ou à la température de
la pièce. Certains aliments peuvent être cuits gelés. Dans ce cas, la période de cuisson requise pourrait être
prolongée.
Clayettes ajustables
Les parois intérieures du réfrigérateur sont munies de glissière qui permet
de positionner à votre convenance les clayettes.

RÉGLAGE DE LA TEMPÉRATURE DU CONGÉLATEUR
Brancher votre appareil. La température intérieure est contrôlée par capteur électronique. Vous pou-•
vez régler la température selon 3 niveaux. ‘‘Cold’’ ‘‘Colder’’ (recommandé) et ‘‘Coldest’’. Le réglage
‘‘Cold’’ est plus chaud, alors que ‘‘Coldest’’ est le réglage le plus froid que vous pouvez atteindre.
Cet appareil ne peut fonctionner ou maintenir sa température correctement si des aliments chauds •
sont ajoutés ou si la porte est continuellement ouverte.

2.1 Le réglage de la température change de ‘‘Cold’’, ‘‘Colder’’ à ‘‘Coldest’’ lorsque vous appuyez
sur la touche ‘‘SET’’. Après 5 secondes, le réglage est conrmé.
2.2 Mise en marche\arrêt
L’appareil sera en arrêt de fonctionnement après avoir appuyé sur la touche ‘‘SET’’ pendant 3
sec. Le compresseur s’arrêtera, l’indicateur ‘‘OFF’’ sera allumé. Pour rétablir l’appareil en fonc-
tion, il sut d’appuyer à nouveau 3 sec. sur la touche ‘‘SET’’

Contrôle de température du congélateur

IMPORTANT: PANNE D'ALIMENTATION ÉLECTRIQUE La plupart des interruptions de courant sont corrigées
en quelques heures et ne devraient pas affecter la température de votre réfrigérateur à condition de limiter le
nombre de fois que les portes sont ouvertes. Advenant que la panne se prolonge sur une période de temps plus
longue, vous devez prendre les actions nécessaires afin de protéger vos aliments.
Congélation-rapide (appuyez 3 secondes)
La fonction ''congélation-rapide'' abaissera rapidement la température dans la section
congélation afin de geler les nutriments et les vitamines de la nourriture et ainsi préserver la
fraîcheur plus longtemps.
•24h de fonctionnement sont nécessaire lorsque le compartiment congélation est rempli à sa
pleine capacité.
•La fonction ''congélation-rapide'' s’éteindra automatiquement après 26 heures d'activité et
lorsque la température intérieure atteindra -25°C.
•Vous pouvez désactiver la fonction ''congélation-rapide'' en pressant sur la touche ''Freezer''
pendant 3 secondes. La température reviendra à sa programmation initiale.
Mode vacances (appuyez 3 secondes)
Si vous prévoyez vous absenter sur une longue période, vous pouvez activer la
fonction en appuyant sur la touche '' ''pendant 3 secondes
•Lorsque la fonction ''vacances'' est activée, la température du réfrigérateur se programme à
15°C afin de réduire la consommation d'énergie.
IMPORTANT! Ne pas conserver de nourriture durant cette période.
•Vous pouvez désactiver la fonction ''vacances'' en pressant sur la touche ''Fridge'' pendant
3 secondes. La température reviendra à sa programmation initiale.
•Lorsque la porte demeure ouverte plus de 2 min, un signal sonore se fera entendre à un
intervalle de 1 minute et s'arrêtera automatiquement après 10 min une fois que la température
aura été stabilisée. Afin d'économiser de l'énergie, svp ne pas laisser la porte de l'appareil
ouverte sur une longue période de temps.

Veuillez utiliser votre appareil en suivant les indications sur le contrôle des commandes. L'interface des
commandes de votre appareil correspond aux modes et fonctions de l'image illustré ci-contre.
Lorsque l'appareil est en fonction pour la première fois, les symboles seront rétroéclairés. Si aucun
bouton n'est pressé et que la porte est fermée, le rétroéclairage s'éteindera.
SÉLECTION DE LA TEMPÉRATURE
Au moment de sa mise en marche la section réfrigération est programmée à une température
recommandée de 4°C et -18°C pour la section congélation. Si vous souhaitez modifier la température,
veuillez suivre les instructions suivantes:
IMPORTANT! Lorsque vous programmez une température souhaitée, vous obtiendrez une moyenne
parmi toutes les zones de l’intérieur de la section réfrigération. La valeur de la température à l'intérieur
d'un compartiment peut être différente de l'affichage électronique et varie selon le positionnement et la
la quantité de nourriture conservée. Le climat extérieur de l'appareil peut affecter et influencer
également la température à l'intérieur du frigo.
FRIGO (Fridge)
Appuyez "Fridge" afin de programmer la température entre 2°C et 8°C au besoin. Le panneau de
contrôle affichera la valeur correspondante dans l'ordre de la séquence illustré ci-bas.
CONGÉLATEUR (Freezer)
Appuyez "Freezer' tafin de programmer la température entre -14°C et -24°C au besoin. Le panneau
de contrôle affichera la valeur correspondante dans l'ordre de la séquence illustré ci-bas.
Dégagement et espace requis
•Déterminez un emplacement sans exposition
directe aux rayons du soleil;
•Déterminez un emplacement avec
suffisamment d’espace afin de permettre
facilement l’ouverture des portes;
•Déterminez un emplacement avec un
plancher le plus nivelé que possible;
•Prévoyez suffisamment d’espace afin
d’installer le réfrigérateur sur une surface
plane;
•Prévoyez dans l’emplacement d’installation
un espacement du côté droit, gauche, arrière
et dessus. Cette disposition aidera à réduire
votre consommation électrique et ainsi
réduire les coûts de votre facture d’électricité.
Emplacement
Cet appareil ne doit pas être installé près d’une source de
chaleur telle qu’un radiateur, bouilloire, lumière du soleil, etc.
Assurez-vous que l’air circule librement tout autour de
l’appareil. Afin d’assurer une performance optimale, il est
recommandé de ne pas appuyer l’arrière du réfrigérateur contre
le mur. Un dégagement d’au moins 100 mm est requis entre le
mur arrière et l’appareil.
Avertissement! Occasionnellement l’appareil devra être débranché de la
source électrique. Assurez-vous que la prise électrique soit accessible.

Nivellement de l’appareil
Veuillez ajuster les deux pattes de nivellement situé à l’avant de
l’appareil.
Si l’appareil n’est pas correctement mis à niveau, l’alignement
des portes et des joints d’étanchéité magnétiques ne seront
pas adéquat.
