1. Product introduction
The Ergosleep® Sleep Tracker is used to track your sleep data including heart rate,
respiratory rate, turning over, sleep cycle, etc. and provides a comprehensive sleep
analysis and sleep advice to help improve your sleep quality.

3. Activating and positioning the Sleep Tracker
Depending on the position of the magnetic cover, the Ergosleep® Sleep Tracker is in active
or inactive mode.

The Ergosleep® Sleep Tracker must be positioned correctly between the mattress and the
sheet in order to function properly.
1. Remove the magnetic cover.
2. Put the piezo strap between mattress and sheet as shown, approximately at the
height of your chest.
3. Fix the housing on the side of the bed (on the sheet).
Replace the magnetic cover in such a way that the device is in active mode. To do
so, turn the magnetic cover clockwise by 180° (the green LED will light up shortly).
4. Lay down in your bed.
4. Downloading the App
Activate Bluetooth on your iOS- or Android device.
Download and install the App on your smartphone. You can download the App free of
charge from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Search for “Ergosleep®.
iOS: Version 8 and above. Android: Version 4.3 and above. Bluetooth 4.0 and up.

5. Connecting to the App
1. Create a personal account.
2. Search the Device ID via Bluetooth.
Follow the instructions given by the App to connect the device.
3. Click 'Start Sleep' on the monitoring page.
4. Click 'Get Up' in the morning to generate the sleep report.

7. Charging the battery
To charge the battery, connect the device with the supplied USB-cable to the USB-
connection for charging cable and to a PC or a laptop or a USB power supply. The USB-
connection is suitable for charging purposes only and NOT for the transfer of data. The
charging state of the built-in battery will be indicated by the indicator LED as follows:

Power On Indicator LED light up in green for 5 seconds
Battery charging Indicator LED light up in red constantly
Battery fully charging Indicator LED light up in green constantly
Low Battery Indicator LED flashes red
Battery safety instructions:
-Do not disassemble or dismantle the battery! Danger of explosion!
-Keep away from fire and heat sources! Danger of explosion!
-Do not dispose used batteries in the household bin, instead put them in a hazardous
waste container or take them to any battery collection point or to the one at the shop
where you purchased them!
8. Safety notices
Only use the device for the specific purpose described in the Instruction Manual. Any
misuse will make the warranty null and void.

The device is designed for indoor use only.

The device is only suitable for use on flat and even bed surfaces. Do not use the
Ergosleep® Sleep Monitor on mobile beds (such as inflatable beds or hammocks)
as this could damage the device.

This device is not a medical device and cannot be used to prevent sudden death.
•
The use of this device does not replace the advice of a physician.
•
People with health problems should first consult a physician before using this
device.
•
This device must not be used on patients with a cardiac pacemaker.
•
Do not excessively bend this device. The built-in sensor may be damaged.
•
Do not use the device during the charging process.
•
Do not let the device come in contact with liquids. It is not waterproof!
•
The device must not be used close to any source of vibration (e.g. washing
machines, loud music, etc.) as the vibrations could affect the functions of the device.
•
Only use the device within the ambient conditions mentioned in the chapter
“technical specifications”!
•
This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, but only after if they will have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.

Children shall not play with the device; it is not a toy!
•
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

This equipment generates, uses and can radiate RF-energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which
can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to
correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
-Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.

uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a
minimum distance of 20 cm between the device and your body. This transmitter must not
be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
