Warning: Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the device and keep it for
future use.
A. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use. Only use this device as
describe in thisinstruction manual.
2. Keep it away from heat sources such as radiators, to avoid deformation of plastic parts.
3. Avoid very low or high temperatures.
4. Do not allow your device to come in contact with water or any other liquids.
5. Do not use a damp/wet cloth to wipe or clean the exterior case.
6. Never drop your device. Protect the device from severe shocks.
7. Only use the device face-up, on a stable flat surface.
8. Never look directly into the laser lens, as it can be harmful to your eyes.
9. Do not attempt to open the outer case.Never touch the laser lens.
CAUTION: Exposure to the laser used in the burner is hazardous to the eyes. Do not try to open
the hood. To reducethe risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover (or the back of the device).
Warning !
The disc rotation is very fast in the player.
Using non-standard, damaged, or used CD-ROMs can cause irreparable damage to the drive and
break or crush the discduring use.
Important Tips:
1. The device is suitable to connect desktop computer or laptop with USB3.0 and Type C interface.It is
not compatible with Chromebook.
2. For the desktop, you need to connect the drive to the USB port at the back panel of the computer.
3. Make sure the laptop is with sufficient power, a low capacity may lead to a recognizing failure.
The deviceneeds an output of 5V/1.5Afrom your computer USB or Type C port.
4. Be sure to remove the disc before moving the player; Otherwise, the drive may be damaged, resulting
in loss of data.
5. Do not move the drive while in operation. Do not attempt to open the disc try by force. Make sure that
you close all open applications before you open the tray. Always use the Eject button to open and close
the tray.
6. Make sure that no foreign object enters the reader, such as liquid or a metal object. In the event that a
foreign object gets inside the player, contact a service center.

B. INSTALLATION

2. Connection to the computer
This product is equipped with USB3.0 and Type C interface. Check that your computer has a free USB or
Type C port to be able to connect the drive to the computer.
3. Inserting or ejecting a disc
- Press the Eject (Pop-up) button ③. The disc tray will be ejected.
- Place the disc in the center of the tray with the label side facing up.
- Push the disc to the center until it is stable.
- Push the disc tray all the way in to close it.
- Repeat the same procedure to remove a disc.
- Be careful never to press the eject button while the activity light on the drive is flashing or while burning a
CD or DVD.
- This drive has a feature to manually eject the CD if necessary in the event of drive failure or power
failure.
NOTE: Do not use this feature except in an emergency. Excessive use may cause malfunction.
- Switch off the device
- Insert a fine-tipped object (the end of a paperclip for example) into the small hole to the right of the eject
button.
- The front door opens and the disc tray partially comes out.
- Pull the tray to open it completely.
4. Reading / Burning
- Once your drive is connected to the computer, insert a disc.
- Either the CD or DVD disc will be automatically detected by your computer, in this case a window
opens at the lower right corner of your screen and offers you different actions to perform.

- If no window opens automatically, click on the device’s icon at the lower right corner of your screen and
then on "opendevices and printers".
- In the list of proposed devices, right-click on the "external" device and choose the action to be performed:
open the file orread the file etc ...
The integrated software of your computer takes over at this time, then follow the instructions of your usual
software (forexample windows media player on windows or i-tunes on Mac).
Depending on the format of your CD / DVD you may need to install extensions or software that supports
more formats (VLCmedia player for example).

ATTENTION!!!
The returns will be impossible if products were damaged because of incorrect use.
DISPOSAL:
The packaging material is reusable. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly way
by putting it in the appropriate recyclable waste collection containers.
Dispose of the product and the batteries in view of the environment if you want to
separate. The device and the batteries must not be thrown in with domestic waste.
Take them to a recycling center for used electrical and electronic devices. For more
information you can consult your local government. Remove batteries first.
