EVOCA EvocaScoutV2 User manual

QUICK START GUIDE
What’s Included:
Scout / Remote control / HDMI cable / USB-C Power
supply & cable / 2 AAA batteries (Antenna and coaxial cable not included)
What You’ll Need:
Antenna and coaxial cable / Broadband Internet
access with ethernet connection or Wi-Fi
For information on setting up Scout, watch our video at
Evoca.tv/setup.
STEP 1: Connect your antenna.
Find the best location to mount your antenna and connect
it to Scout using a coaxial cable.
STEP 2:
Connect to Internet.
Connect Scout to your Internet modem using an ethernet
cable. If you plan to use Wi-Fi, reference the Settings
menu after you have powered up your television.
STEP 3:
Connect to television.
Using a HDMI cable, connect to Scout and any HDMI
port on your television.
STEP 4: Connect to power.
Connect power supply to Scout using the USB-C cable.
Make sure that your television is set for the proper HDMI
port you selected in step 3.
STEP 5: Wait for channel scan.
Be sure to select “yes” if you are interested in viewing
local, over-the-air broadcasters like ABC, NBC, CBS
and Fox.
Note:
If Scout is blinking yellow or you do not see a high-quality picture,
please try moving your antenna to a new location.

Place your antenna in a location to receive the strongest signal. It may take a few tries to get it right.
Keep in mind the following:
•Point towards our broadcast tower at Bogus Basin located at the mountains to the north of Boise.
•Higher is better.
•A window is sometimes, but not always, better.
