Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this product which has been designed and
manufactured to give you many years of trouble-free service.
About This User Guide
This user guide contains all the information you need to know about how to
setup and watch available free view Channels using your set top box.
What is DVB-T?
It works like traditional TV, but because the signals are Digital you need a
set top box to convert them. This means more channels can be transmitted
with extra features such as interactivity and wide screen pictures.

1. TEXT: Used to openteletext osd displayif
teletext available in thebroadcasted stream.
2. MUTE: Usedto turn thesound on oroff.

channel being viewed
4. PLAY/PAUSE: Used to playbackor pause the
program being viewed.
5. EPG Used to displayinformation about the
program being viewed andwhat's next.
6. STOP:Used to stopthe program beingviewed.

29. MODE:Used to change thevideo format output.
30. FAVORITE Used to access yourfavourite channelslist.
31. SUBTITLE:Used to repeatedlyto select subtitlelanguage.
32. REPEAT: Used to select repeatsingle, repeat all orrepeat off.
33. A-B:During playback, pressA-B button to selectpoint A, againpress A-B buttonto select
point B. Theunit will repeat thesection from Ato B automatically. Press A-B button third
time to cancelA-B repeat and clearpoints Aand B.
34: ZOOM:Used to magnifythe image.
COLOR KEYS(RED/GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE):Used to operate different functions inTEXT
screen or other menus.

Installing the Batteries
Remove the batterycover from theremote control andput 2XAAAsize batteries
inside the compartment.
The diagram insidethe battery compartmentshows the correctway to installthe
batteries.

Using the RemoteControl
Touse the remotecontrol, point ittowards the frontof the digitalset top box
The remote controlhas a rangeof up to7 metres fromthe set topbox at anangle
of up to60 degrees.
The remote controlwill not operateif its pathis blocked.
Sunlight or verybright light willdecrease the sensitivityof the remote
control.

Ensure all connectionshave been madefollowing the diagramson the
previous pages for reference. To switch on the set top box, press
POWER button onthe set topbox.
When you firststart to usethis unit, theunit enters autoscanning menu

Press SETUP button to enter the main menu, which is shown in
figure(2)
Press SETUPbutton again orEXIT buttonto exit themain menu.
The main menu has four setting items which includes DTV channel,
Configuration, Game andUSB. The four setting itemsare displayed on
the left side of the screen. The right side is the submenu of the left
selected item.

ToSet Favorite channel,Press BLUE buttonto select FAVORITEmenu,
press UP or DOWN button to select TV channel, then press ENTER
button to setor cancel favoritesetting. Shown inFigure(7)

To lock radio channel, press GREEN buttonto enter lock menu, press
UP or DOWN button to select radio channel, press ENTER button to
confirm. Shown inFigure(15).
3.3 Program guide
This is DTVEPG (Electronic ProgrammeGuide), shown inFigure 16.
The EPG menu is used to look at what is being broadcast on a TV or
Radio channel laterin the day.
Toaccess the EPGmenu, press theEPG button.
The following menu(Figure16) will display. A preview of your current
channel will be displayed in the left area. The detailed program
information of yourcurrent viewed channelwill be displayedin the right
area. To see whatis going tobe broadcast afterthis programme, press
RIGHT button to change the time and press LEFT button to move the
time back.
Toview a different channel, press UP or DOWN button. Eachchannel
selected will bepreviewed in theleft side.
Tobook a wantedchannel for laterwatching, press ENTERbutton.
Toexit EPG menuand watched theselected channel, pressthe EPG or
EXIT button.

3.4 DVB Booking
The DVB bookingmenu is shownin Figure(17).
The booking listis used todisplay all thebooking events youlooked in
the EPG menuor added byuser manually.
Tochange the bookingsetting, press ENTERbutton to edit,press LEFT
button to deletebooking list, andpress RIGHTbutton to addnew list.
Other, you may add the booking list in the EPG menu. Shown in
Figure(18).
4. Configuration
This includes System setting, Area scan, Manual scan and Receiver
info
4.1 System setting
This includes OSDlanguage, SleepAfter, ScreenFormat, TVType,Set
Brightness, GMT Setting, Set Scan Area, Change Password and
Factory Default. PressUP or DOWN button to select one of the items.
Tochange the setting,press LEFTor Right buttonto cycle betweenthe
different settings, or press ENTER button, then press UP or DOWN
button to selectitem from alist of settings.Shown in figure(19).

The standard setting is used to set the signal input to your TV. There
are two different standards(PAL andNTSC) available on set top box.
If you areunsure which settingto use, consultthe manufacturesr¡¯user
manual for yourtelevision.
4.1.5 Set Brightness
The Brightness menuis shown infigure(24).

4.1.8 Change password
The Change Passwordmenu is shownin figure(27).

your selection.
The Change Password menu allows you to change the default
password, the defaultvalue is 6666.
Input you new password using the numerical buttons on the remote
control.
Please note thatyour new passwordmust contain 4digits.

4.2 Area Scan
The auto scanmenu is shownin Figure(29).
4.3 Manual Scan
The manual scan menu is shown in figure(30), Before scanning , the
following item areset: ScanType, StartFreq, End Freq,Band Width. If
the scan typeis range scan,the start frequencyand end frequencycan
be set.
Use UP or DOWN button to select item and LEFT or RIGHT button to
change the setting.
Once done, PressENTER button tostart scan.
