WATER FLOW SETTING
The E-Vac Vacuum Pumps leave the factory regulated for a water ow of 0.4 ± 0.05 l/min,
which is the ideal measure to achieve the maximum expected vacuum with minimum engine
eort; If it is necessary to change this setting due to oscillations of pressure or water
volume, it can be adjusted through the spigot of the Regulator valve, located laterally in the
Electrical Components Box, as shown in the gure below.
a) For larger ow, turn counterclockwise;
b) For lower ow, turn clockwise;
c) With a container provided with measurements in milliliters, check that the volume of
water expelled from the suction outlet reaches 400 ml in one (01) minute;
Water set up
ATTENTION
1) Setting the water ow rate higher than recommended:
The water ow is directly related to the motor current; for a greater ow, the current will be
larger, to provide a greater suction; However, this implies a greater demand on the engine,
which could aect its lifespan.
2) Setting the water ow rate lower than recommended:
For a smaller water ow, the suction capacity will be smaller and the internal temperature
of the turbine set will become larger , which can aect the lifespan of the sealing system.
(Mechanical seal).
3) Points 1 and 2 are not covered by Evotech Guarantee.
