Definition of terms
Calibration
constant
Represents the applicator output per revolution of the drive.
Use this number to fine-tune the Field-IQ system to match the
actual output of the spreader.
Jump start Use this function to continue the application if you lose a GPS
signal or if want to start applying before the implement is up
to speed.
Prime system Fills the system with product in preparation for calibration.
Enabling the Field-IQ system
The lightbar contains an on-screen wizard that guides you
through each step to set up, calibrate and test the Field-IQ
system. The lightbar also has built-in, context-sensitive
help that allows you to quickly find information you need.
To see the definition of a term, or access help with a
screen, tap .
1. From the main guidance screen, tap and then press .
The Configuration screen appears.
2. Make sure that the user mode is set to Advanced.
3. Select Application Control / Controller Settings / Field-IQ:
4. Select an application controller mode. The options are:
– Row Crop Planting
– Granular
– Liquid
– Spreading
5. Complete the setup wizard to set up the Field-IQ application
type, set up the control modules, perform the Field-IQ
hydraulics test, and calibrate the Rawson control modules and
rate controller.
