Welcome to the next generation in digital recording. The new Monsoon 18X DVDRW / CD-RW Firewire/USB 2.0 drive allows you
to write to DVD-R 18X and DVD+R 18X media as well as new dual layer DVD media with DVD-R 8X and DVD+R 8X that can
hold up to 8.5GB of data or digital video on a single side. The new Monsoon Firewire/USB 2 DVD+/-RW is also a CDRW drive
that will write to 650 and 700MB CD-R 48X and CD-RW 40X media. The new feature of this DVD is DVD-ROM, which has
ability to read as fast as 16X on single layer for DVD and 48X for CD. Also, the CD Audio PlayBack is 20X. Firewire makes
this drive hot-swappable and fast while USB 2 makes it compatible with the widest possible range of computers.
