IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read Carefully and save this instruction prior to installation, operating your ceiling fan, maintenance and
troubleshooting information. If you have further questions, please contact your nearest Le Vent dealers.
CAUTION: Please observe the following to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and serious bodily injuries to a
person:
- Installation and electrical wiring must be carried out by qualified person in accordance to all applicable codes and
standards.
- Use this fan only in the manner intended by the manufacturer.
CAUTION: This fan must be installed according to the requirement specified in this installation guide and with all
local codes. YOU are ultimately responsible for code compliance.
CAUTION:Exercise caution and common sense while operating the fan. Do not connect the fan to a faulty power
source. Do not attempt to repair electrical malfunction or failure on your own.
CAUTION: Power must be disconnected before installation, servicing, cleaning and other user’s maintenance.
Failure to do so may create risk of fire, electrical shock and causing bodily injuries.
CAUTION: The product warranty will not cover if the fan is damage or failure that is cause by improper installation
or usage.
CAUTION: The fan must be mounted with a minimum of 2.5m from the floor to the blades and 1 m to the nearest
wall. The ceiling must be stable with no shaking, high vibration or heavy impact.
CAUTION: Do not install the fan in an environment that is excessively dusty, corrosive, conductive, or expose to
open flames such as cooking, or near strong chemical or solvent, or excessive heat, shock, or vibration.
CAUTION: Be caution not to bend the blades while installing or cleaning the fan. Do not insert any object into the
motor.
CAUTION: Children, handicap persons, or lack of experience and knowledge must be supervised and guided by a
person responsible for their safety. Do not allow children to play with the fan.
WARNING: Do not use dimmer switch or power regulator to control the fan.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
WARNING: TURN OFF THE MAIN SWITCH AT THE DB (ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION BOX)
STEP1: Mounting the Blades
Align the holes to the motor. Fasten it with screws and washer provided. (As shown in Figure 1)
STEP 2:
a) Fixing the Ceiling fan to the ceiling hook (U Hook).
Remove the Clevis pin, nut, washer, bolt and the rubber bush from the down rod. Place the rubber bush to the ceiling
hook and place back the bolt, washer, nut and insert the clevis pin after securely fasten... (As shown in Figure 2)
WARNING: CLEVIS PIN MUST BE INSERTED TO PREVENT THE NUT FROM LOOSENING!

b) Connect the Power wires to ceiling fan Power wire using the wiring cap
Connect the Power cord’s Blue wire to N (Neutral), Brown wire to L (Live) and Yellow/Green wire to E (Earth) using
the wiring cap provided. Make sure all the wires color is same as the other side of the. (As shown in Figure 3)
STEP 4: Securing the safety cable
Loop the safety cable around the ceiling hook and through the shackle. Secure it with the locking screw. (See the
steps 1 to 3, as shown in Figure 2)
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CEILING HOOK IS FIRMLY FASTEN TO THE
CONCRETE CEILING!

STEP 5: Install Decorative cover
Gently place the two decorative cover together as shown in FIGURE 5, and adjust the height accordingly
WARNING: Make sure both the decorative covers are place together firmly.

REMOTE CONTROL & OPERATION
Pairing the remote control:
1、Turn on the power supply
2、Within 10 seconds, continue pressing the “FAN ON”button on the remote control until you hear a “BEEP”sound from the
ceiling fan.
3、It is now paired and ready to use.
4、If you do not hear any “BEEP”sound after 10 second after you turn on the power. Turn off the power supply. Repeat step 1
& step 2.
Remote Control Keys Function:
1、Sleep: When Sleep Mode is pressed, the fan speed will start at SPEED 4 for 1 hour and then continue at SPEED TWO until
it is turned off or by pressing any other key.
2、FAN R/F: The fan will reverse the spinning direction when this button is pressed;
3、Speed Button: 1 = Lowest Speed & Turbo = Highest Speed
4、FAN OFF:Turning OFF the fan
5、2H:2 Hours preset timer
6、4H:4 Hours preset timer
7、LED ON:LED Light turn ON
8、LED OFF: LED Light turn OFF
9、Changing LED Light Colour: Press LED OFF button then LED ON button will change the light colour.

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE
For preventive maintenance, please spend some times to inspect the fan
annually to ensure it is safe and operating efficiently.
- Check the safety cable; make sure it is still securely fastened.
- Make sure all the mounting screws are securely fastened.
- Make sure that the screw securing the fan blades and the motor are securely fastened.
- To check wear and tear on the bolts that securing the down rod and motor.
- Dust the blades regularly. If it becomes dirty, clean it with a damp cloth with mild soap and water. Do not use
solvent of any kind, or any other chemical cleaner as these may cause surface distortion and damaging the fan.
- Make sure all the wires connection are secure and the Earth wire is permanently connected.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Symptom
Possible Solution
Wobbles
- Make sure that all the screws securing the blades are securely fasten
- Make sure that all the blades are align properly
- If you installed more than one fan, make sure that they are not too close to each
other (minimum 2 meters apart)
- If the blade is damaged, call up the service center for a replacement but there
will be charges incur if found not due to manufacturing fault
Noisy
- Check all the mounting, if loose, tighten
It jerk upon start-up
- This is normal as it is power by a 3 phase brush-less DC motor, It won’t affect
the performance
No Airflow
- Make sure that it is not in reverse mode
It won’t start
- Make sure that all the wires are securely connected
- Check circuit breaker
- Occasionally the power supply maybe over or lower than 240V, this fan is
equipped with a protection circuit that will cut off power supply if the power
supply is lower than 140V or exceeded 270V for more than 5 second. To restart,
turn the switch off to reset
During High Speed,
the fan turning fast
and then slow
- This is normal as the motor is not only protected by Voltage regulator, it is also
protected by an additional thermal sensor where it will limit the motor
temperature from rising to more than 75 degree Celsius. It is to prevent the motor
from damage due to high temperature.
